I will be traveling back from Melbourne to Delhi with a transit in Singapore (5.5 hours layover). Both the flights are booked on different PNR and different airlines. Do you think 5.5 hours will be enough to claim baggage and pass through the immigration again?? Considering the below scenarios: Melbourne - Singapore - Jet Star (T1) Singapore - Delhi - Air India (T2) Do you think claiming luggage, passing through the immigration and transferring to T2 can be an issue? Also, I have 3 years multiple entries tourist visa of Australia so this makes me eligible for VFTF right? Quick response would be highly appreciated 😊
I thin Jetstar has the arrangement with Changi airport and it should be hassle free. whether you have to clear the immigration or not that is something the airlines can confirm., As far I know Jet star has transfer/transit facilities. 5 hours are sufficient in case you have to clear the immigration or collector your baggage to catch your next flight. But take the advantage to be first because of long queues at the airport.
Hi, I am traveling from BLR - Bangalore (Indigo or Singapore Airlines) to Singapore and connecting flight to New Zealand. Terminals and flights need to be changed for connecting flight. *I want to know :* I need to self transfer and recheck baggage at Singapore airport. Do I need a visa? Can I collect my luggage at SIN airport and board another flight without immigration check? Or Do I have to go through immigration check at SIN airport for self transfer? I have 2 different PNR flight tickets. I have to take boarding pass again at Singapore airport.
From Kolkata to Hangzhou via Singapore have 10 hours layover in Singapore & baggage checked through but different terminal so need transit visa or not please suggest me
Hi I am travelling to Bali via Singapore. I have separate flight tickets but no checked it bag . I won’t be going out of airport . Do I still need a transit visa for Singapore ?
that you need to check with the airlines if you need to clear the immigration or not. Low-budget carriers do not have transit facilities with the Changi airport and some may have for instance scoot. But if you just have hand baggage or a backpack then you should remain in the transit hall.
Very informative indeed. I hold an Indian Passport and i'll traveling to macau and got two transit on my way. Transit in Changi Airport and the other transit through honkong. Do i need a transit visa in Honkong. Hope you'll shed some light on this and reply. Thank you. PS (YOU JUST EARNED A LOYAL SUBSCRIBER).
as long as you are at the hong kong airport and not leaving the transit hall then no transit visa is required. otherwise, if you want to explore the city then you can do Pre-arrival registration which gives 14 days stay period to Indians. www.immd.gov.hk/eng/services/visas/pre-arrival_registration_for_indian_nationals.html Thanks for supporting the channel
Hi Aseem , i have booked two seperate tickets with different PNR from Manila to Singapore Changi via Cebu Pacific. Next flight from Singapore Changi to Delhi via Indigo airlines with 4 hours layover. Will I need a transit visa?? Will it be a troublesome deal??
I travelling from Mumbai to Cebu via Singapore in Singapore Airlines. Since j dont want to go out to Singapore. It's a connection from changi t1 to t3 i dont need transit visa. That's correct?
insurance is not mandatory only for those who are not vaccinated. Otherwise, it is always good to carry one to be on safer side and avoid any medical troubles.
Hi, thank you for your video. I am planning to travel to Bali via Singapore. I am planning to spend 3 days in singapore using VFTF. Me and and my family hold US visa valid for another 5 yrs. Do I still need to apply visa before travelling
if you have a US long-term visa then you are eligible for VFTF. In the case of short term visas one can visit Singapore upon their return journey. See here with complete details: www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore/visa-free-transit-facility
If you have a long-term visa you can also enjoy the VFTF facility that being said you can enter the city by simply visiting the immigration. But here, if you are transiting/returning via Singapore which is currently in the 6 high-risk countries then you are required to upload an RT-PCR report on the air suvidha. The validity of your report must be within 72 hours. You can get your test done in Melbourne. For instance, if you are transiting via KL and then to Mumbai then there is no need to get the RT-PCR test but since you will be transiting from Singapore then RT-PCR is needed. Please also contact your airlines before you fly and also take clarification for the same. In most cases, viewers of my channel have confirmed that you can take a test in Melbourne.
@@TRAVELMANTODAY so i dont need any online visa everything will be done on arrival.. rtpcr still if im fully vaccinated returning from melbourne ? From india im going thru bankok to melbourne
@@dr.arunimarohatgiofficial4189 Well, RT-PCR is currently needed irrespective of your vaccination status and when you are transiting or returning from Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and China. Regarding your return journey back to Melbourne you will have to just follow the entry requirements of Australia. For VFTF insight read it here: www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore/visa-free-transit-facility I hope this helps
Hi Sir. I have a flight from Mumbai to Bali via Singapore with a layover of 3 hrs. Mumbai to Singapore flight is Airindia and Singapore to Bali flight is Jetstar. Airindia arriving at T2 terminal and Jetstar departing from T4 terminal. As T2 and T4 are not connected and we need to go out and take a shuttle or other airport service. So in this case do I need a transit visa? Please help me out, I am a bit worried.
transit visa in not need in that case even if you use mono rails or shuttles at the airport. I had a flight from Singapore to colombo and I was able to move freely to visit Jewel changi and the airport terminal where my flight was departing from.
Sir, we have a layover of 9 hours in singapore travelling from Vietnam to India..do we need visa to go out of Airport or we do not have that option at all of going out..please suggest
Hello ,i have a doubt.. Say I book a ticket to Singapore from Mumbai... Then another ticket(separate)from Singapore to Toronto in Singapore airlines or another(quatar or ethihad)1stop airline.. Is it possible?? Like I'll be doing two separate bookings. Mumbai to Singapore from x airlines on their official website. Singapore to torronto on y airlines on their official site.. can I stay in the transit area?? Will it work?? Do I need a visa then? If it's possible, can u explain the process after landing in Singapore?
Sir my question that I have flight from BOM to SIN on 18 dec and SIN TO NKG china on 19 dec. So my question is that i need transit visa or not. i have layover 16 hour in Singapore.. and most important thing I have both same airlines first flight is Singapore airlines and second flight is scoot airlines which is part of Singapore airlines.
transit visa not required. You can take evisa if you want to explore the city For VFTF also check this:www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore/visa-free-transit-facility
I am traveling to Busan (PUS) from India (BOM) on 13th October through Vietnam (Han Choi Min City Airport) in Vietjet for both. My question is whether it is required for me to take a transit visa as they have mentioned Self-Transfer. But the airline is the same i.e vietjet. My layover time is 17 hours 15 mins to catch the next flight. I will not be leaving the airport. I will be in the airport itself but I am not sure if I will have to leave the transit zone to check in again. I am attaching the itinerary of my flight to this email. Also I don't have extra baggage. I will be carrying cabin luggage upto 7kgs
Well, there is no transit visa in the case of Vietnam. As long as you stay in the transit area, there are no visa requirements. Since, your airline is going to be the same for the self-transfer they should have transfer arrangement with the airport and should let you catch the next flight without clearing the immigration. They must be indicating that you need to claim your baggage and do another checkin at the airport for your flight to Busan. All your docs and visas would be checked at the time of check-in, I would advise you to contact the airlines, if possible to verify the same. If you apply for an evisa that would be for $25 USD only.
Hi there If you're a New Zealand resident Indian citizen. have only got three months until your passport expires can you go through Singapore to transit and catch a connecting flight back to New Zealand? Only transitting through going to be there for 4 hours. Thanks
Hi, I am holding Indian passport and travelling to Bali from India, with a layover of 9 hours @Singapore both ways. We want to explore Singapore city. Please advise what kind of Visa is required and wether we should visit Singapore city during our outward journey to Bali or Inward journey to India from Bali.
Hello sir..I’m an Indian passport holder having 6 months UK tourist visa and now planning trip from India >Malaysia >Singapore >Bali.. our flight arrives Singapore on 28 th morning and next flight to bali is on 29 th night..(both air Asia, but booked separately)that’s approximately 36hours..are we eligible to get vftf..pls reply
You can take VFTF if you have the UK visa but it depends if it is a short-term visa or the long term. So if it is long term visa then you can take VFTF during your both outbound or inbound journey, however, it is a short term visa then you can enter Singapore using VFTF upon your return leg. Hi.. I am a Canadian citizen and I am going through changi airport. But I need to do a SELF TRANSFER there from scoot airlines to Philipines airlines . I hot one ticket from Hyderabad to Singapore and another for the rest of journey. I have a delay of 4 hrs in Chengi airport. So should I take a visa for checking out and go through immigration and then once again check in? How long will it take? Please guide.
if you are a Canadian citizen, you are allowed to enter the city under VFTF facility. But since you have only 4 hours of layover at Changi so it is upto the immigration officer to allow you.
Sir I am fully vaccinated, i have flight from phillipines to Singapore and then Singapore to India on the same day... Sir i am totally confused by seeing the Singapore site... Can you please tell me the requirements singapore asked??
Sir,thanks a lot for your prime information, please do me a favor,I booked Singapore Airlines for Bali,DOJ:1/6/2022,layover time approximate 11hours,in that case which documentary I must need???? I have to take visa for Singapore????
for 11 hours no need for the visa if you are stay at the airport and not clearing the immigration. Please also check with the airlines you are traveling with.
Hello.. i want to go Philipines. By using Singapore visa.. is it necessary to stay in Singapore? And if i stay in Singapore 48 hours.. then Philippines ask rtpcr test before departure 48 hours.. so muje firse Singapore me test karvana padega?
if you are taking multi entry visa you need to stay in Singapore. That is only if you are using it for the first ime. Please also check the same with the visa service you are going to apply. I check with Akbar travels they told me the same
Hi I have an upcoming trip to USA via Singapore . I have 12hrs layover time and I am planning for sightseeing Singapore. I have a valid us visa ( H1B) . Should I apply for an online visa before my travel or can I get transit visa in the airport itself. Can you plz answer my question. Thanks in advance .
Since you have the H1B long term visa to US then you can avail VFTF facility. They will just stamp you passport. You may also be required to fill a form at the airport. The VFTF is valid for 96 hours.
Hello, ( PLEASE HELP ) , I am not vaccinated and Iam travelling to Australia. I am just wondering our baggage is checked in from start to finish. We are changing flight in Singapore, and waiting 2-3 hours before the flight lift but we are changing. Does it still count as “ transit “ ? And do I need to get vaccinated
Well, you should have been vaccinated but in the end you got to meet the entry requirements of Australia. Singapore authorities should not stop you since you are just transiting from there for your next flight to Australia. I hope you are aware of the entry requirements of entering Australia.
Thanks for this informative video. I am an Indian. I have moved to Australia 2 months before in a 482 long term work visa (multi visit). Now i am planning to go to india for a week vacation. I have booked a ticket to travel via singapore. Melourne to singaore in scoot airline and singapore to bangalore in Indogo. Scoot Airlines mentioned that i have to do a self transfer and immigration in singapore to board indigo flight. It has around 5 hours for this transfer. Do i have to get a visa or VFTF is applicable for this tranfer?
VFTF is applicable in your case since you have a long-term Australia visa. But Indigo might not have the transfer arrangement with Changi Airport due to which they are asking you to clear the immigration. i would advise you to contact the airlines and check for the same but Australian long-term visa holders always have VFTF facility
hi! Im traveling through Singapore from Bali and was wondering whats a decent amount of time to explore the airport? Im seeing different layover from 55 min,3 hours,6 hours 8 hours and 10 hours..Which one do you reccomend? Also, Is it possible to leave the airport during a layover ?
Well, if you are particular about exploring the airport then it is a huge one. I would recommend 3 hours because the biggest attraction is Jewel Changi and 3 hours would be sufficient including some shopping at the duty-free. You would just spend 1 hour at Jewel Changi and remaining time you would spend having coffee or some shopping. In some case you require a visa to exit the airport and explore the city. If you are from US then US Passport Holders (regular, official and diplomatic) do not require a visa to enter Singapore for business or for social visit purposes. So if you want to explore the city then go with 10 hours of layover and less 2 hours to exit the airport for clearing the immigration and customs.
@@TRAVELMANTODAY If we stay in the terminal (don't go outside), do we need to do security check when we land in singapore? Or can we immediately get off 1st flight and catch 2nd one?

Singapore airlines hai to transit visa ki zaroorat nahi baqi aap airlines ko bhi ek baar contact karlena. Singapore airlines national carrier hai to inka Changi airport ke saath arrangement hai
yes covid insurance is mandatory but not for the purpose of transiting. Anyhow, it is going to be the requirement of your final destination so do carry one.
I am planning to go to Bali and thinking to book multi city flight via Singapore. I was wondering during that time I can explore Singapore airport. Do I need any type of visa either evisa or transit visa in that case? Also please suggest how can I get lounge access on Changi airport by using hdfc regalia or American express travel card?
Well, in this case you would need Singapore evisa. You can apply through musafir or akbar travels and you will get your visa within 5 working days. As of today, you can gain access to lounges. But I am sure of the cards whether they will work or not but Amex card will surely work
How many days/hours I can stay in Singapore(outside airport ) without Visa while I am transiting from India to USA. do you have a long term visa to Australia such as student, work, PR visa. If so then you can avail visa free for VFTF facility. For short-term or single entry visas they can enter Singapore on the return leg of the journey.
i am planning to travel back from delhi to Sydney by Singapore airline with 6 hr waiting on indian passport with 5 month validity i am on 2 year student visa does it make trouble
Sir thanks for your video! I am traveling from India-Singapore(18hrs transit)-Japan. As far from subtitles I could able to understand is, if I have 3rd country visa for longer term then I can enter Singapore. And no special requirements are needed. Am I correct?
Yes, correct if you have a long term visa then you can enter the city on VFTF facility, but if someone has a single journey visa then they are entitled to enter Singapore during their return journey back to India.

Sir I'm going to Phillipines via Singapore from India do i need transit visa for 8hrs layover, (ccu to Singapore - Singapore airlines, Singapore to mnl - scoot airline), I have 59 days visa
in the case of scoot airways you can transit easily and there is not need for the visa, but again you should check withe airlines if you are required to clear the immigration for your next flight. If so then visa is needed otherwise, scoot has transit arrangement with Changi airport so that should not be a problem.

hello, I'll be travelling to Australia through Singapore (Changi airport). my connecting flight is on same date/itinerary so does that make me a transit passenger? and if it dose then can you please tell me what are the necessary documents has to carry to have smooth check in. Thankyou for your time.
In this case, if your flight is on the single PNR there there are no issues. If you flights are on different PNR then you need to check with the airlines if you required to clear the immigration. Usually, you do not required Singapore visa if you just have a layover of a few hours and not going to clear the immigration unless you want to explore the city in the case of 15-17 hours of layover. As of today, If the flight is on Same PNR there are no issues with it. But if your flight has different PNRs then contact the airlines and check the boarding gate, checkin counters if crossing the immigration is needed.

Hi sir, on my trip from Bali to Delhi, I will be transferring from Terminal 4 to Terminal 2 with a 9 hour layover at Changi airport. During this transfer will I be needing a transit visa ? Please advise?
it depends upon the airlines you are traveling with, so if you need to clear the immigration for the next flight or claim your baggage then you may have to clear the immigration. Such instances happen with low-budget airlines or when you have onward journey flight booked on a different PNR. On the other hand if you hold a single PNR flight then you generally you need not clear the immigration. Please also contact your airlines as well.

Sir i am Traveling from Karachi Pakistan to Sydney...Flight i checked from karachi to singapore i want to Book Srilanka Airways cheapest...Next From Singapore to Sydney i checked Tiger Airways(SCOOT)...is it possible and if possible then i need singapore visa or not i am booking two flights
So, if I understand you correctly, you are transiting from Singapore Changi OR you will be staying in Singapore and them book Srilankan airlines flights for your onward journey to Sydney. If you are staying in Singapore or entering Singapore before you book your flight then you need a Singapore evisa. You book Sri Lankan airlines, You would not need Singapore visa, because you would be just transiting or even if you take scoot flight then no visa is needed for the transit. When you are going to book the flight speak to the airlines first, if you are required to clear the immigration.
Hi sir meri Delhi se Phuket ki Singapore airlines book hai or uska leout 1.30 hour ka halt hai usme kya mujhe transit visa ki riqerment rahegi kya sir visa on arrival Phuket main lunga main
Transit is allowed through Malaysia, but if you plan to stay within the city the transit visa is still suspended and also ENTRI note has been discontinued. You may apply for EVisa now. Visa-on-arrival is starting soon but there is no official date announced yet.

I have single entry visa for malaysia . I hope i will be able to visit singapore for 4-5 hrs in vftf facility during my return and need not apply for singapore visa.
well, VFTF is for the following countries and that too when people are are returning from Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States of America. In this case, if you do have the valid visa from these countries then you would need, Singapore evsia.

I will be traveling back from Melbourne to Delhi with a transit in Singapore (5.5 hours layover). Both the flights are booked on different PNR and different airlines. Do you think 5.5 hours will be enough to claim baggage and pass through the immigration again??

Do you think claiming luggage, passing through the immigration and transferring to T2 can be an issue?

Can we utilise the VFTF and explore the city (if we have a valid US visa ) during the Layover? I hold an Indian passport.
yes if you have the valid US visa you are eligible for VFTF faciltiy

as long as you are at the hong kong airport and not leaving the transit hall then no transit visa is required. otherwise, if you want to explore the city then you can do Pre-arrival registration which gives 14 days stay period to Indians. www.immd.gov.hk/eng/services/visas/pre-arrival_registration_for_indian_nationals.html

See here with complete details: www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore/visa-free-transit-facility

yes for traveling the city even during your layover you need to have an e-visa.
Can you please let us know how can people transit from one airline to other airline in Singapore airport with and without luggage?? Thanks in advance
I have layover of 7hrs on singapore airport, in that 7 hrs i want to just explore the airport do i need transit visa?
It depends where you are coming from, else take a Singapore evisa
Im going from melbourne thru singapore to india mumbai this feb .What requirements i need ?. Im fully vaccinated i have visior visa for 3 yrs n more
If you have a long-term visa you can also enjoy the VFTF facility that being said you can enter the city by simply visiting the immigration.

For 9 hours layout you would need to get an Singapore visa from India
Hello ,i have a doubt..
Say I book a ticket to Singapore from Mumbai...
Then another ticket(separate)from Singapore to Toronto in Singapore airlines or another(quatar or ethihad)1stop airline..
Is it possible??
Like I'll be doing two separate bookings.
Mumbai to Singapore from x airlines on their official website.
Singapore to torronto on y airlines on their official site.. can I stay in the transit area??
Will it work?? Do I need a visa then?
If it's possible, can u explain the process after landing in Singapore?
I want to
Go To china can I do
Delhi to Singapore singapore to
Shanghai
Is transit is allowed
To china via singapore now as on 11-april- 2023
Sir my question that I have flight from BOM to SIN on 18 dec and SIN TO NKG china on 19 dec. So my question is that i need transit visa or not. i have layover 16 hour in Singapore.. and most important thing I have both same airlines first flight is Singapore airlines and second flight is scoot airlines which is part of Singapore airlines.
transit visa not required. You can take evisa if you want to explore the city
For VFTF also check this:www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore/visa-free-transit-facility
Hi there
If you're a New Zealand resident Indian citizen. have only got three months until your passport expires can you go through Singapore to transit and catch a connecting flight back to New Zealand? Only transitting through going to be there for 4 hours.
Thanks
yes can still travel but may not be able to enter Singapore city. As long as you are in the transit area there is no need clear the immigration.
Hi, I am holding Indian passport and travelling to Bali from India, with a layover of 9 hours @Singapore both ways. We want to explore Singapore city. Please advise what kind of Visa is required and wether we should visit Singapore city during our outward journey to Bali or Inward journey to India from Bali.
in this case you can apply for Singapore evisa from India.

Hi
I have an upcoming trip to USA via Singapore .
@@TRAVELMANTODAY thanksss, I know Australia have opened up for everyone who is and is not vaccinated

Do I need any type of visa either evisa or transit visa in that case? Also please suggest how can I get lounge access on Changi airport by using hdfc regalia or American express travel card?
Well, in this case you would need Singapore evisa. You can apply through musafir or akbar travels and you will get your visa within 5 working days. As of today, you can gain access to lounges. But I am sure of the cards whether they will work or not but Amex card will surely work
