Meimei I have the same problem as you with super sensitive skin with makeup and skin care. I cannot recommend Tatcha enough there whole range is amazing, my favourites are Indigo cleansing balm, water moisturiser, indigo overnight repair, silk eye cream, LOL any of there products.. For setting spray my favourite is Urban decay it is even better than Charlotte Tilbury (I live in Australia with high humidity)
You should actually do a feed meimei guide like the Michelin guide! It would be nice to have a compilation of all your favorites in the Bay Area from over the years! 😁 I would read it!!

Bird in a sassy mood at the end 😂 Not to sound weird but your eyes are so pretty Mei Mei! Like a light hazel/brown, so cool!
I recommend the colourpop eyeliner and the maybelline eye studio master all day one. They don’t transfer are skinny at the end and it doesn’t try out too quick. They’re inexpensive too which I like.
Half moon bay is my favorite spot to chill for a day. Also a tip for your eyeliner if you don’t do this already, put them in a glass or something like that upside down and they will give you more flow to get both eyes done. Love Bird btw😻

Atascadero is only a little further away and there is Arcangeli Grocery that makes the most amazing artichoke bread! You can buy it fresh/warm and eat it immediately or take it home & reheat.
That’s so funny. The place you first went to, Dad’s (the red caboose) was created by one of my cousins and her partner who was a chef. It was originally named Daddios. Isn’t it cute? They sold it a few years ago and it was renamed Dads.

haha I haven't been to many either -- tbh me and bird aren't really into the super fancy foods! but these are michelin bib gourmand which means they are best value for money!

Hi Meimei. We try to go do something special for the dog on a long weekend. Pillar point in Half Moon Bay is always a fun time! I want to try the BBQ place. There is a really good Philly cheesesteak place in HMB. And the downtown Italian place is good too! This year I spent Labor Day weekend in my hometown visiting my dad in the hospital. I’ve been here in NY for two weeks working on week three. It was lovely seeing HMB. I miss California! Thank you for your videos!

Yaymei! I have the same Uniqlo jacket as Bird. I’m genetically predisposed to buying tons of Uniqlo stuff every fall/winter.
Also Heroine Make liquid eyeliner is excellent, which you can find in many Japanese supermarkets (marukai, mitsuwa, possibly suruki) or Amazon. No American drugstore eyeliners are up to par and I’m too frugal for high end.

Growl!!!! You were in my town and I didn't get to see you....not like I would, but, anyway, it's cool you ate here. Glad you had a fun day in Half Moon Bay. The mushroom burger at Dads is very good. I have gift cards for the gelato and the bbq but still haven't been to either. The ocean is the star, we don't have a ton of good food out here.

@@moremeimei On the coast we consider HMB to include three other major villages, El Granada, Moss Beach and Montara. EG has a place called The Press with good croissants if you go early enough. Mezza Luna Cafe has good pastries also and gelato. That's at the harbor. Further south is a town called Pescadero, which has a little grocery store with famous artichoke bread, Duartes with famous artichoke soup, and Harley Goat Farms with very good if expensive goat cheese. Plus if you go in spring, you get to pet baby goats, so there's that.
FogFest is coming up! Maybe a vlog there?! =)

I love having the windows down on the drive up to the beach where all the Eucalyptus trees are. It smells so good. That definitely looked like 'a fun day at HMB' I'd like to have.
I am someone who is allergic to skin products. If you get new product only test on a small spot on neck. Do not test in arm because skin is thicker and tougher so it will react different than your face. I learned like you after causing my whole face to get a rash.

FUN DAY IN HALF MOON BAY! Hey, I'm curious, how do feel safe in the area??? I'm so bummed with all the madness in the world, I haven't been able to travel to the Bay Area, in fear that my car will get broken into. Sad times.
This is totally random but I love how you dont wear a ton of lipstick. Idk why but it gives me anxiety to watch people with lipstick eat because I'm so worried it will smudge😂
