    good work so far mate, FYI the top yolk on all gen 2's from 94 on (D model) are identical, the reason the silver one is different is because it's from an earlier gen 1 bike. there are several clues here, the top nut is different, the ignition lock (holder) is different, and if you look carefully on the parts bike the handlebar risers are wider than the top yolk.

      Thanks, however, the power supply has now blown up and I am in an argument with the supplier as to who is liable for the cost of returning it.

      If it's found to be a manufacturing fault then the supplier would have to reimburse any costs. Best to talk to citizens advice tho Karl.
