DaBs Tips - Settings to adjust in Matrix K 19

- There is a few settings I always suggest for people to look at to make their device look and sound like they want. I give some basic settings to adjust on K19 Matrix. Video calibration ( screen to fit correct on TV ), Passthrough audio and other audio settings, default language for audio and subtitles, set region and time and screen saver. These simple settings will help with sight and sound of your content.

Usually it's a host issue. But in sound settings you can move audio forward or backwards

why is the settings/display options in kodi 19.4 limited to 1080p 60hz? I can play 4k movies and the info from my andriod box and tv identifies the link as 4k. I just don't understand why the only choice in kodi 19. 4 setting/display is 1080 60hz. ????

If you add that to your Advanced Settings document you can tweak the "skip steps" to whatever you want. Just change the numbers.

Great video you detailed the most specific points about this Kodi to set up. This is to much. Why doesn't these Kodi app come with a build already in it? It could be better to understand setup with less work? 😅😅😮😮😮😢😢😂😂😂😂😂😂
With a build already in it? Think of kodi as an OS. Itv gives you basic features and allows end user to customize it ton their needs. It's impossible to make a set up that fits everyone. That's like saying you want windows to come with all programs installed. They can give you a basic setup, but some people are gamers, some are coders and some just need it for school.
hi mate i downloaded the new kodi 19 when i went to put my addons in like the the crew shadow i couldnt install them so i had to go back to 18.9 do you know if they updated it so you can install the addons
some repos wont install via file manager on 19 . You can install them off a usb drive if you have the zip. Once the repo is on your device you fine for updates. Not sure why but seems a file structure issue with 19

Not sure what is trying to open and failing to launch. It could be so many thing. More info is needed to help you. What addons you have, when does it pop up, do you have a network drive its trying to pull from....

I have a wdtv live box gen 3 connected to wd mybook 1tb, I have movies and TV shows which I watch via kodi 18.9 as it plays x265 hevc 10bit, I tried kodi 19 but there is no WORKGROUP after windows smb so cannot find my drive. I run kodi off my 4k firestick. Any suggestions please 👍🏼
My TV samsung q60t 50" which is arc connected to my yamaha ysp2500, connected to this is my 4k firestick and the wdtv live box for passthrough etc.
I have not sorted out a fix for that issue on my 19. It dont seem to see my external drive attached to my pc
@@DaButcher hi, I managed to get the WORKGROUP folder but when I click it it hangs then says connection timed out. I can see my hard drive in Zeroconf browser folder and can access it BUT I have to save the video to watch it.

My latest videos are using K19 matrix. My home setup is still 18.9. I have said many times kodi 19 is not ready and many bugs to sort out and limited addons. So for my personal use I will stick with 18.9. I do have a 19 fork on my shield to test things.
Also this video was setting and no need for addons to make sure your kodi is set up right.

Sorry not used a Mac so not sure if it's normal or a bug. Maybe a corrupted kodi installation. It did happen where a odd bug crops up in kodi. Might try a new install.
I have the 19.1 Kodi matrix with the diggz free build all of my movies are saying play back failed even on one click links why is this happening?!?! This never happened ever until this build idk what to do I been messing with this for 7 hours now I'm so upset I can't watch my movies now. Plz help now to make this playback failed stop and be able to watch movies again or is this build broken

How do you change the keyboard items. On my version there is a semi colon instead of a colon so I cannot type HTTPS:// I can only type HTTP;//. Very frustrating! This means I cannot source the right downloads. Any assistance will be appreciated. WIA

You didn't show how to disable the RSS feed.... that's one that I myself always turn off because I don't care to see that info, plus it's not using up idle resources and slowing the build down any more.

Interfaces you mean different skins? You have to install other skins to change to them. Click get more on skin options

Sounds like the url you using is not correct. Either is gone or the address you entered has a error

How do you fix lagging?
Lag can be caused by so many things..
-Source, if you don't use rd or pm the server may not have bandwidth to keep up
-wifi set up, if your router/wifi is not set up correctly or interface it can slow signal
- device, having a subpar device with slower components can bottleneck signal
You have to test one thing at a time to find your bottleneck. Using speedtests on device can give real numbers.
Also use a phone on same wifi to get compare numbers.

There is no title saying how to get movies. This type of topic will get a video removed from UA-cam. They have no tolerance for videos showing how to get that content. @@DaButcher my Son bought a T95 tv box and I can install XENON to it, it’s come notification that there no dependency, I uninstalled Kodi and star from the beginning and the same thing…any way thank you for your hell ✌️✌️✌️
