Thank you pastor Jeremy for giving us the opportunity to help other people that don't believe in Jesus ❤ I'm so happy 💗 I am just saying that I am going to try to make more believers instead of the way of them going to hell

Thank you Pastor Jeremy for this wonderful message. Keeping Jesus in my life (maybe not every two sentences) has given me my joy. When I lost my hubby 4 yrs ago....it was really hard for me to think ...”what now?” He was my partner for 48 yrs. “What Now?” I started a gratitude journal to help me through my grief. I wanted to focus on my blessings not my sorrows. Being grateful to Jesus for all my blessings helped me focus differently and helped me find joy again. Jesus is the reason for so much in my life. I pray for others to find this joy.

The best way to keeping Jesus in the center of your life is to spend focused time with Him every day in your daily quiet time. Make it your top priority and never miss a day. If this is new to you, just commit to 10 minutes a day in His Word and in prayer. It will grow from there and totally revolutionize your life as you faithfully stick to your commitment. This is Gods guarantee, not mine.

When my mind is full of junk (anger, anxiety, etc.) one practical thing I do to focus on Christ is to change the channel. One way I change the channel is to recall Scripture verses I have memorized, and (this is more important) believe and trust in the power of God that is behind them. A second way to change the channel is to recall my favorite worship songs, and I just think about the chorus of those songs. I repeat just the chorus a couple times in my head. The idea/hope is that the chorus will then go on 'autoplay' in my mind. If you have to have a song stuck in your head, it might as well be a worship song, or one that brings you joy and hope!

How is it that in one minute we can acknowledge "We are In Christ and Christ is in us" and the very next second we're worrying about our bills and where we're going to get our next dollar? What a life of turmoil I live. I'm so thankful for Christ and the fact that God has reconciled me to Himself..

Singing hymns to him. Marveling in him in creation and just looking all around at all he has made all around us and realizing how amazing he is to have done all this. And he just spoke it into being!! The details of things did he image it all first? And then spoke it? (Idk but its fun to ponder and way over my head to understand) Man it would have been awesome to see how he created. The fact that he made birds to sing and be different colors shapes and sizes. How did he think of that! There feathers there little body systems the fact that he sustains them daily. Not just them but all things! This whole earth! He sends the rains and the winds. He is truly awesome! Also pondering on what Christ has done what he endured how vast his love is for us. Who he is where he brought me from and were he is bringing me. Also keeping my eyes open in how he is working around me. Asking him to help me see it. Then I find myself rejoicing in him. Realizing he is in control and sovereign and who you are in Christ gives way to Joy. Trusting him Bc knowing who he is and his promises there is nothing to fear. So we can rejoice!

      Kathie,
Let you know that Christ is with you and he does Love you. Sometimes it is hard to to talk to to God because you think you don’t know what to say. As you sit in your quite place each morning or night or when your is, talk to God everyday. You have to listen also. You will be amazed that what you hear. Also, find you a small group, they help so much. When your with a small group you learn that your not alone. You learn that there people like you that have the same things going on in their life. And what you learn about God is amazing.
Keep your head UP, “Ans we know that all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

I'm struggling at this moment. It's really hard to think clearly. Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.
I remember the story of the storm and the disciples were panicking. Jesus was asleep. Yet, He, the Lord of the universe and everything in it, was in the boat. They woke Him up and said to Him, do you not care that we're drowning? He calmed the storm and marveled at how small their faith was and they were in awe of Him!
