No cause that’s not how the music industry works. The song was sitting on a shelf waiting to get claimed by a new artist. Few artists write their own songs and they pay songwriters for that. It’s still shitty she claimed it was her original song, and cringe that she said she was going to make a new genre.
@@braydenleis4735 I knew the story behind it, the comment was satire, like meats video, but it still got claimed, at least u addressed the fact she's still shit for claiming its her song
JoJo siwa watch the video and got mad but what she doesn't understand is is there's a difference between playing an audio clip of a song which would be considered copyright without permission and singing the song that's not copyright that's free use just because of video happens to be of somebody singing your song does not mean you can copyright it
It will not go through if it would go to court since it isn’t a valid copyright claim. He didn’t put the actual song in and he didn’t claim it as his own in any way.
She doesn’t own the song, the record label owns it and always has. When labels put out new industry plants they have a whole host of pop songs written by professional song writers that they pull out because demographic research suggests it’s the most likely song to be a hit with whatever target audience. The song Karma was used once for one such plant but failed to chart or pick up so they put it back in the vault until they needed it again. When Jojo’s marketing team decided she needed to take a mature turn like Miley Cyrus did they looked for what they had on file that fit that description and karma is what they pulled out. None of this is theft nor is it really morally wrong, it’s just incredibly cynical and lacking any sort of originality, talent or artistic merit. It’s what in the 90s people used to call “muzac” I.e. corporate made music designed by marketing experts to be generically pleasing to contemporary tastes for the sake of marketability
Jojo is yet another great example of how we do not live in a meritocracy. There are plenty of people walking around with more talent in their pinky finger than siwa has in her entire body, and yet she gets the opportunity to force her unwanted contribution into the pop culture sphere. In a world where people spend So MuCh MoNeY on creating and consuming entertainment, I can’t understand why or how someone can see what jojo siwa is up to recently and think, “yeah, that’s worth funding.” Blows my fxking mind.
Seen some really convincing videos saying that the rebrand is a coverup for her alleged outrageous abuse of hopeful child stars via her xomgpop venture. And it even seems likely that the repeated cringe and failure throughout the rebrand is intentional so that it is even more effective as a distraction. I thought that was a pretty big stretch until suddenly the 1-hour video I intended to watch for only a few minutes suddenly was over and I was completely immersed the entire time and then I watched like a second and third from other creators.
Scrapped Miley Cyrus song producers timbaland and rock mafi (2011).Then Brit Smith recorded as well but scrapped it I think (2012)and now Jojo siwa is claiming she made the song or something
Because she didn’t create it. See here’s a little example, Michael Jackson bought the whole Beatles catalog at some point last century, does that mean that the songs are his or the Beatles? Now obviously this case is different from JoJo Siwa’s because she did buy the song then probably changed some things in it, plus the fact that it was an unreleased piece of music whilst The Beatles catalog had all been released. Anyway I’m rambling here, in short; legally it’s hers and she didn’t steal it but more importantly the full creative rights are not hers
@@ShenanigansGT she (Jojo) _slash_ her label (the record label JoJo is with) AKA: she / her record label He was saying that either Jojo OR the record label she works with, bought the license for the song This wasn’t some she/her pronouns crap lol

We stand with Papa Meat. Jojo Siwa sucks
So its canon that shes a lil gremlin
I bet I could beat the shit out of JoJo Siwa in a fight

considering she put no actual effort into the lyrics or the actually song kinda means she stole it ngl

That would mean almost every artist out there today steals music. Many songs are written by a team of people to be performed by a popular artist.
@braydenleis4735 ALL artists write their own songs. Sure there are some hack pop singers who don't write anything, but they're hardly "artists"
She learned the tricks from her BFF Colleen
