What I'm more concerned with than the possibility of losing the master sword is that apparently the sword considers THAT Moblin strong enough and worthy of carrying it.
Well technically the moblin got enough hp.

If you were to bring the Moblin to hyrule castle
Would the m. Sword be awakened?
It would! I even managed to bring it near a Guardian in Hyrule Field, and it lit up. Too bad it isn't permanent...

You can't bring it to the castle because the moblin has an area that it protects. But if you do it again with a moblin that's neat a guardian, maybe that would be super cool
@@edwardnedharvey8019 True, but you can freeze the moblin and push it out of its spawn area. Or use octo balloons and korok leaf to move the Master Sword alone, but that would take forever!
@New Tunes For Old Logos I actually tried that, but interestingly the game freezes amd says "You hear a voice call out to you." Then you get teleported back to the Plateau and the obliterator trial ends. It's like they knew we'd try to fly away 🤔

I like how the sword and shield scaled up for the moblin....
I got some questions:
1. Do you keep the extra slot of the sword when giving it away (if you had it before of course)?
2. If you gave it to a lizalfos and it tried to throw the sword, would it work or would it shoot sword beams?
3. Can you re-obtain the sword when killing the moblin with anything but ancient arrows or will it get into that weird floating state again where you can't pick it up?
1. You do keep the extra slot! It's pretty much just a free inventory upgrade.
2. That's a good question! I've never actually managed to get a lizalfos to throw a weapon but maybe I'll test that.
3. After killing the moblin the sword falls to the ground like a normal weapon, and you can pick it up.
@@ThornyFox more knowledge, thanks. And to be honest I also don't know how to trigger the lizalfos throwing a weapon. All I know is that you have to be a few steps away so that they can't reach you with melee attacks, that they can't be in water and that it has to be a throwable weapon. Like it doesn't work with korok leaves or elemental rods. The thing is, I don't believe nintendo made sure for them to not throw the master sword, as they thought getting the sword was permanent.
@Gary Williams Why would you trade the master sword for a low durability weapon? I'm assuming you have the DLC and have done trial of the sword because you need the DLC for this glitch and I consider maxing out the master sword with the trial as part of completing the game.
@Gary Williams And, if you transfer the Hylian shield's durability to other weapons using IST, you get an almost unbreakable Guardian Sword++!

Technically lore wise that's physically impossible. Only the hero of time can touch the master sword, any evil or darkness that touches it is destroyed.

The legend of moblin: breath of the deletion
Now the bow of light. I actually found a faster way to do this way back. All you need is to perform the menu overloading glitch near the OHO then pick up the OHO approximately 1 second when you exit the menu and never skip the cutscene when Link picks up the OHO. The OHO will be in the inventory but Link still equips his current weapon.

Good question, I can't think of any cutscenes like that but I wonder how the game would react?
@@ThornyFox since you already have the master sword you could give it to a mob and try to do the trial of the sword
@@yoshi_goated5599 I actually did try that, and when I tried putting the sword in the pedestal the game said something like "You can't enter the trial while the Master Sword is recharging"

Did you save after the sword had disappeared? If so, what happened when you reloaded the save file? Was it still gone?
I didn't do a manual save, but I did reload an autosave from after the sword disappeared. And it was still gone. There goes the sword that seals the darkness 🤣

Hey so if I would do this how would I get the master sword back (A friend did this and yes they used in ancient arrow)
They can reload a save that was made before using the ancient arrow (if they still have one). If not then they might be screwed, BUT there's a small chance that it will respawn at korok forest after a blood moon. I never tested this but there's one way to find out!

I did a glitch called BLSS to fly over there

But quick question, how'd you have full hearts + golden hearts in the Oho challenge?
The glitch let me unequip the Obliterator, and that let me heal again

it’s not gone you can see the word pull when he was were the master sword should be it’s just invisible
The pull prompt is actually separate from the Master Sword, so if you try pulling it without the Master Sword it will give you an empty inventory space

Ok so like, the real test is just pulling the Master Sword right, but if you get Link to pull it and pay him 20 bucks to give you the sword, does that mean anyone can actually hold the sword?
