I’m wondering if previous generation engine families, utilizing cam driven distributors and oil pumps, have been run on the spintron, to look at the various dynamic affects induced by and into the valvetrain and those systems? Back in the day, I spent considerable time and effort chasing various gremlins in distributors and oil pumps, that mostly were based on speculation. Most led to distributor gear backlash, distributor flexure, oil pump induced loading, etc.. But again, this was all speculation based trial and error, that would still be relevant to those running those engines.

I can't find out high (pistons cleared) high can you lift each lifter?
