This jumpscare Easter egg should give a big shock to the player when he gets suddenly eaten up by a big monster fish. Unfortunately I will have to go for the original one. CAPCOM pls fix.
They made some improvements for characters development but i can tell that there is a few changes were not necessary. Same for deadspace remake the original characters were better and ending was very scary compared to remake.
I don’t like that the remake one transitions the player into first person. The original felt like it happened in real time leaving the player in third person view while watching that giant fish eat up Leon. The remake felt like I triggered a cutscene which kinda blows the experience.
The original is more scary because it's more sudden? The remake seems to trigger a cut-scene so you're warned.
Yep. the moment the screen changes to a cut scene then it loses the scare.
Original is way better, it still scares me
Maybe the ones working on the new one were too scared of it as well
I went back to the original just make the video, and I still got startled.
lol
The new transition is to slow compared to the old one
Original, right out of a shark/monster movie.
I remember trying to shoot those fishies to sell to the merchant.....
Little ol' me got a mini heart attack from this...

For sure. This basically triggers a cut scene and the screen basically goes to black. Felt it was very underwhelming.

What changes did you think were not necessary?
Original
the remake is more graphic. the simply gives you that assumption that he's been eaten. ill go with the remake of course
I don’t understand, it’s the same as the old but with less shock factor, or less jumpscare-y
How is the remake more graphic?

Yep. What really takes away from the remake is triggering a cutscene then cutting to black...it doesn't even show Leon being eaten.
Absolutely zero splashes for bullet impacts in water for the Remake. Lazy
Remake one's not scary
IMO old was better
