Hey guys, I have to ask. You see people aren't finding our videos these days. I'd love to keep making fun creative (high-effort) videos like these. To do that, we either need more people seeing the videos, or we need more people becoming channel members (or joining us on Patreon, where you'll also find exclusive content not on this channel). MMPRtoys is the world's first and longest running Power Rangers toy channel, and we post some of the most creative PR content on UA-cam. We hope to continue, but we're going to need more audience support. Even just hitting "like" and watching more than the first minute of the video will help.
It's so weird, your video appeared in both my notifications and recommend so I've watched it like 3 times already. I wonder if people are just disinterested with Power Rangers altogether. Maybe do some more Gokaiger videos? That got good views. Kamen Rider is an idea too.
@@mikeyroddick3031 Kamen Rider is an idea... which we tried years ago and got the same results we knew we'd get. Right now, spending more money on more things we don't have space for, buying things I don't want isn't going to fix the trouble we're having. Gokaiger video only did a little better than the previous video showing my shelves. People liked the Gokaiger video b/c I used 10 minutes of copyrighted music and 15 years of flashback footage plus the new Gokaiger stuff... I can only post so many videos like that, and Gokaiger isn't sustainable. We need people to be interested in the channel in general and the new stuff too (or other seasons) or we've gotta do something else. Mia and I do have other interests and we're good at other things too. I love making videos for this channel and would love to continue, but if our audience doesn't start clicking on more videos or becoming channel members, we really don't have a bright future over here. Our funding is gone and these toys all cost hundreds of dollars. It costs us thousands of dollars to run this channel. Hope more people will start clicking.
@@MMPRtoys I'm sorry to hear that, thanks for breaking everything down to me. I understand better, but I wish there was another way. Vlogs and non-PR vids could work too. Views may be slow, but at least some people will be clicking. I didn't realize your funding was gone as well, you had a lot of Patreon support and I figured that would've been a nice boost for the channel. I hope you have a good amount of members at least. Maybe you could request more toys from Hasbro? I know they were sending you free stuff for a while, I hope that didn't stop.
@@mikeyroddick3031 We also got robbed by scammers of an entire year of earnings, not sure if you've seen any of our vlogs about that, but, that's the gift that hasn't finished giving yet. Patreon is saving the day for sure, but we'd need to triple that, at the very least, to be free of UA-cam. Now with COPPA and declining interest in PR, this channel isn't even funding the toys, which just keep getting more expensive, before you add all of the extra stuff we do (and time that takes). No, Hasbro was never sending us free stuff, outside of con things. Lots of people (since Bandai days) thought we get everything for free. It's usually twice a year, which is super cool, for sure, but it's not the full toy line, and half of the time it's things I already bought and made videos with (and then their box shows up).
It was great to get Finster early, but nobody cares about bad guys and that video went nowhere. I saw a year or two ago a bunch of people popped up doing stop motions with Power Rangers LC figures stating Hasbro had paid them and sent the figures. I have various contacts at Hasbro, so of course I've asked about that... nobody ever responds to that question. I'm good at doing free things, nobody wants to pay us though, it seems. I also don't push it b/c in the toy community, people really hate you when you get paid (or even talk to the companies at all). We had years of backlash for trying to act as a go-between with the fandom and Bandai. That really did us no favors on the channel.
I can personally recommend patreon,if you love mmprtoys&the people behind it,patreon is awesome 👌you won't be disappointed,we need to cherish genuine creators more.

Admittedly, when I first saw the Zedd helmet I thought, cool but don't think I really want it. Now seeing how it has the voice changer feature, which is seems very well hidden, & how shiny it is...very tempting. Mostly cause I seem to really like shiny things. Great opening skit by the way. Really loved it.
I’m wagering that there will some fan artists that will be drawing Lord Zedd in a business suit sometime in the near future.

What a cool objet d'art. I definitely don't need it, but I could see it being a cool conversation starter. Put some LED light strips around the eyes to give it the red glow effect and something shiny like that shiny paper you used and it'd be perfect.

The voice changer is okay. It sounds pretty similar to the effect that was used for Zedd, which oddly wasn't always there or varied in intensity. Hasbro should make a Z staff to go with it. Sounds for that shouldn't be a problem, since I think those electricity sounds were from Sound Ideas.

Great video, pretty cool that you got to see Zord Zed Helmet in person. I bet only a limited amount of people came in contact with it out of the lifespan of power rangers.
Oh, I better go pre-order the eye-pokers!!! 😀 It's a shame there couldn't be a Power Rangers museum in the US, featuring all of the costumes, props, vehicles, etc. (Power Rangers also lends itself to an awesome theme park...) There were things from past seasons displayed all over the studio, and in most of the offices. It was a very cool place.
