Do Indiana have Comcast! If they do comcast offers internet essential! For 9.99 a month
Just because there is Comcast around doesn't mean it can get out to where they live.
That's the problem where I live. We have jave Comcast, but NOTHING comes put to where we live. Majority are stuck paying $150 for 10 gigs of data via satellite that is not guaranteed 1.5 mbps speeds. We didn't go over our 10 gigs and had dial-up speeds and was paying $150 a month.
Only reason why it's better now is because I climbed up onto our roof with a signal booster and got a hotspot from AT&T. Get about 120 data for $40 a month now with 1.5 speed.

If you want to raise my taxes a bit to pay for free internet for public school kids, shut up and take my money.
I would much rather have tax money go to childrens’ education instead of the military or Trump’s golfing trips.
Now the kid said he cant go online because his parents are using it? What are they all streaming 4K Netflix at the same time?
Young 1- they are probably working from home as many people are still doing with the Coronavirus.
