Nice review- very relaxed grooves. I have a Sandburg txt 5 custom shop aged and I always get asked how old it is due to the heavy "aging ". I love telling people it's a couple of years old.
Lovely bass. I used Rickenbackers, Stingrays and P-basses. I’m looking for something that can do bits of all of these (maybe minus the 4003, as that was used through a Darkglass and that was the main sound!) live. Think this could work?
@@BassBuddha My blonde EBMM StingRay 5 Special and white EBMM Sterling 5. Any wear that's on them is from me… the way it outta be. 😉 Sandberg makes some killer, expensive stuff and their finishes are wonderful and then they beat them up. I just don't get it.
Hi Joe, thanks for the question. I know that I'm playing differently than most, but for me, one of the important thing for me is that what I do has to come from the most genuine place I can and this is what I do on bass. If you put headphones on you can actually also hear that I do the bass role sort of speak as well :-) If you want to listen to the bass in a more traditional way you can go to the last 3rd section of the video where I demo the different pickup positions. Cheers
You deserve way more subs! Plus you are the only person who does reviews of Sandbergs that are actually useful!
Thank you for the kind word I appreciate it a lot :-)
My pleasure :) How do you think Sandberg J basses compare to Fender J basses?
Really enjoyed the way you went through all the tones without being repetitive or analytical; lovely bass and groove. Thank you!
Oh man what a brutal bass Sandberg need More fans and you need more subs, good video

Hey Bass Buddha and Morten Ehlers, what loop/latch/freeze pedal are you using there?
I think it’s the Ditto looper x2 or x4 from TC electronic
You beard is great
TC Electronic Owner ?
Nah mate I didn't own TC but I was the Product Manager for all bass related stuff there :-)
Where can you buy these in the U.S.
Might be 4 years late but Chicago Music Exchange sells a decent amount of them
Why would anyone take a beautiful paint job like that and beat the shit outta it? I don't get it.
ah well, there is a bass for everyone, right :-) what do you like?

He sounds awesome to me. What exactly is a Bass sound anyway? There are no rules in Music 😊
This is the best way to demo these basses. Why complain like a millennial?
