2023 UPDATE! Edinburgh parkrun

Join us at Edinburgh parkrun for the 2023 update! Edinburgh parkrun was event 21 of the tour, back on the 26th May 2018. 5 years later and it's time to come back and revisit the event. Edinburgh parkrun consists of one lap of the Cramond / Silverknowes Promenade. It is scenic, flat and run on generally wide footpaths.
Craig and I successfully completed all the Scottish parkruns during 2018, of which there were 43. Since then we have attempted to keep up with the numerous new events!

Funningly enough there actually is a Craggy Island Parkrun, sort of. The Inis Meain Parkrun off the west coast of Ireland is part of the Aran Islands which feature in the opening credits of Father Ted.

Thanks Steve! Yeah, Inverness Half is one of Jenn’s favourite events. Although I believe she’s missing it this year as unfortunately it clashes with Alloa Half.

Thanks Ted! It was cold when I got out the car, so went with gloves and long sleeves - ended up getting too warm 🤦🏻‍♂️

It sure is! Just need to hope it’s not too windy, which it often is.

It is quite often so windy, so that probably affects the average speed compared to, say, St Andrews.
