The trick I use to not glue the whole jig to the arrow is simple: Put stringwax on the slot where the jig meets the base of the vane. Simple and effective! :)
Great suggestion! P.S. (2 days later) I just got mine in the mail today and tried Micke's suggestion. It worked perfectly! After fletching each arrow I re-waxed around the rim of the vane slot before moving on to the next arrow. .
+Micke Johansson, this is a great suggestion, except that any wax that gets near the fletching base or the glue will impact adhesion strength and cause fletching failures.
Never had any fletching failures due to wax! Maybe if the wax ends up between the fletching base and the shaft.. Do not overuse the wax, put the wax on the slot before you put the vane in there.
Looked at this with a view to buy and then asked if there was a vid to show it in action, well this is it and yes I was impressed with it,not with the price of it mind you but you get what you pay for, anyway next stop is the shop and buying one for my usage,Nice Kit.
Hello sir I just bought the GT arrow Fletcher from silver archery and there goat Tuff glue. Please excuse my ignorance I only use feathers on my wooden arrows. Do I use left wing or right wing feathers with this GT arrow Fletcher or doesn't it matter as long as they are all the same . Can somebody please advise me thank you
If you want one go to Sales@silverarchery.co.uk they have them its where I have bought mine from, paid by Paypal and being sent on Monday,Lale is the Man.Also bought some Goat Tuff Glue at the same time.a tip when using this Jig to keep glue of the inserts and stopping the arrow sticking to the inserts give the top of the insert a swipe with Bow String Wax so just a film of it is applied and it will work every time, cheers Micke Johansson for that tip.

Nice...that review was right on time. I had been looking at that jig for about a week.
You sold me on it. Great review, clearly easy to use. Thanks heaps.
like the pressure that is put on the fletch that has been my beef with jojans and others.will own one, love the 4 fletch option with a helical

a good way to keep the glue off is dab your glued vane on a paper towel sides then the main channel , works perfect every time and never sticks
What about fletching cross bow arrows? With flat nocks...
Can it do left and right wing

would i be able to fletch both vanes and feathers or just vanes?
You can do both.
Looks like a great product. Very nice review. People use way too much glue.

Mine's in the mail, excellent review !
Fletcher works but I think for a for a couple pieces of plastic the price is way out in left field. Just my thoughts.Review was Great, Thanks
They want $50 for this simple plastic thing. I think I will stick with my Bitzenburger. Cool idea though.
I own an arazona ez fletch and the bonig blazer jig and both suck , never pefect , this one I have yet to mess one up
