As Africans we need to start understanding that we have an obligation, an obligation to protect our own, we have been on lala land for a very long time. It's high time we WAKE up and fight for what is right for us, we need to stop believing that some European God will come and save us. If we don't do it for ourselves then no one else will. Africa has to stop focusing on minor internal issues and start looking at the cardinal things that we must do. First step to that is to unite. We are stronger together, and the enemy knows it. I'm Polish and almost never hear about Africa or African matters in Polish media (apart from wars and migration crisis). I understand that mainstream media have their own agenda, but even in social media it is hard to find any lectures or interviews. I would be interested to learn more about situation of certain countries and not just continent as a whole. Also, I'd hope there are Polish investments being made in Africa since it's usually what brings two societies closer. As far as I know, Poland never participated in slavery nor colonization so the dialog could be much more leveled.
