@@Messimitsu Deleting items on cursor is ritualistic therapy for me and there is not a shrink alive who will ease your pain like that little white message, "Item on cursor destroyed." Also, @drg_poe is 100% correct.
The other reason why items priced in exalts arent selling is because GGG has to manually set the exchange rate of ex to divines on the back end of the trade site and because they havent done that yet, all of the low divine price items will show up before the low exalt price items. Youll see a wall of 1 divine price items but if you sort by exalt only, youll end up seeing all of the exalts priced items that are ACTUALLY less expensive than 1 div. A lot of people dont know that and they search for an item, it says 1 div, and they dont know that they can get something sometimes 10x cheaper if they just sort by exalt only.
Exactly this. The quicker we can spread this message the quicker people stop pricing things at 1div+ only, right now it gives you a competitive advantage because people don't even SEE the more reasonable listings if you're sorting by price.
I think a part of it is a lot more people are reaching the end game, people are min/maxing and so the demand for the absolute best stuff is through the roof. You COULD buy something 90% as good for 10% of the cost, but if these players can make the money to buy the absolute best stuff then I guess they will. Biggest tip about trade from me, especially if you are going for mid-game upgrades is to set Buyout Price from relative to Exalted orb. Reason being, trade site still thinks 1 div = 10 ex instead of the current going rate of 1div = 70+ ex so 1 div items are higher on the listing than an item that is going for say 50 ex. Oh yeah, you can also set max buyout price to like 10 ex, 50 ex, etc to find cheap upgrades from dump tab chads

I am new to this game and I have no idea wtf you are talking about half of the time due to my lack of understanding on many basic game mechanics but I do appreciate your knowledge sharing.
The amount of time I spend looking at items.. guess how much I sold.. 1 and 4 ex😂 Dude is spitting facts, especially with using currency, starting of a league yea sure but couple days later U gonna buy 2h mace with 100% phys and 100% elemt dmg in any lvl for 1ex and U will spend 50x to get both that stats that high😂 Have fun but min maxing is important here and there🙌 Great video I enjoyed that crazy talk😂
Its so weird how this game forces you to play 'thrift shop simulator 2024'. It really needs to have a loot boost for SSF players like Last Epoch. Not only am I lucky to drop maybe 1-2 exalts per day, but at lvl 74 I am still running gear I found in act 3 normal campaign.
not to be "that guy" and imo the crafting changes are both great and horrid especially with the crafting bench being gone so its easier just to buy gear from the poe thrift store whilst in the lower levels, but if youre presumably at maps dropping 1-2 ex you're doing something wrong nor should you be relying on drops as your main income. (possibly not juicing your maps correctly but even just using t1 maps to travel on the map board ill drop an ex or two atleast every 2 to 3 maps on the low end) could chalk it up to somehow sustained luck since launch but ive SSF'd two characters to red maps(level 90+-) using shit ive picked up off the ground or from vendors/slammjng decent base items only started using trade at the start of red maps to cap my resists and get a dps boost so i can farm breach more efficiently.
I think the inflation we experienced with divine orbs was partly due to speculation and another part due to a huge amount of people finally getting into maps. It isn't that anyone gained 5 times the farming ability, it is that we gained 5 times the amount of people engaging with trade at end game. I am sure there are other factors but this is how I see it.
I subscribe only because I laughed till i my eyes drown in my tears. And yes I barely typed this comment while laughing my ass off. Keep up the good shit👏🏼
Word of advice when searching the market, at least for the people in the Story line (faced this issue with new toons) filter by Exalted Orbs under Relevant Currency or something like that. Prices seem way more reasonable there!
The chinese bot rant hit hard. I'm on the market all the time buying my gear and it's always chinese or russian. And it seems they all have the same auto generated "Good luck with your adventure" message that feels so robotic.
So i am pretty sure i am guilty of slamming a piece of gear with 2 or 3 modifiers on it with an orb of alchemy. After watching this I will only use those on rings or amulets with 1 stat….good video thx!
You're doing a fantastic job! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
It's on the list for sure, I don't know when I will get to it however. I think my next few videos will be an update to the market on how to get around the divine inflation problem, trade 101 and then end game bossing. That being said, I think a lot of those videos will be shorter and easier in nature so it might be sooner than you think!
@klovehitch6959 word all those videos sound sick as well especially the divine orb one and the crafting guide. I'm finally starting to get the hang of making currency but It could be way more. I have a whole quad chest of es bases I needa figure out what item lvls to keep and just try and craft stuff for archmage gear I bet I could make alot but I'm just so unconfident in my crafting ability rn 😅
Right click the orb you want to use, it should be a smaller icon than if you were moving it, then hold shift and left click and let go of shift when you are done!
As corey said, your currency is as good as anyone else's, and you need items just the same. You should absolutely be using the trade site while leveling to get better items where you can (Assuming they aren't insanely overpriced) generally while leveling I would try to keep it in the 1 to 3 ex range for gear maybe 5 in some cases.
I genuinely enjoyed this video more than I ever thought I would. You describing things and just cussing here and there reminded me of old UA-cam 😭. It feels like 2016 edgy pewdipie type shit. Also, I couldn’t help but see PowerBI and the rest of the softwares you use. Are you a data analyst? Thank you for the video btw. Keep it up. I genuinely enjoyed this way too much.
Those are premium stash tabs, that once purchased allow you to publicly list items. That would be when I right clicked it in the video, set it to public and selected a listing option.
Yea it's the price he set for an item, when having Premium Tab u put an item there, right click and set a price and it show publicly in PoE2 Trading website for everyone to see and buy it
Regarding the price discussion at the end, I do think that things are inflated but it might not be to the degree you're implying. One major factor is the trade site incorrectly values exalts, which means a 12 ex listing shows up below a 1 div listing even though it's actually 6 times cheaper. This means that there's a competitive advantage to pricing something at 1 divine instead of, say, 30 ex. You're actually more likely to sell it at 1 div than you are at 30 ex, lol. This is why your 20ex chest has not sold by the way. I'm not an unscrupulous greedy gary so I'm trying to spread this message so that the market becomes reasonable again and greedy garys stop taking advantage of the information discrepancy to gouge and flip. That being said, there is also the factor of far more people are entering end game and demand for end game gear has gone up considerably. When you've already filled out your slots with mid-tier gear, the value of additional upgrades goes up exponentially relative to how available they are. The stronger your character is, the more rare the gear is that would be an upgrade, but more and more players hit that point where they need something that rare for an upgrade, and thus you get these huge price spikes. This is especially true for things like quarterstaffs and ES chests which are key items for extremely popular builds. So there is some inflation going on due to the aforementioned factor with the trade site, but there ALSO is just genuine and expected price increases from demand spiking as a bunch of players reach end game.
Awesome vid, favourite thing at the moment is that there is nothing in between its either 5ex or 20 div and the in between in none existent. The trade site also doesn’t seem to list the actual value of divs properly, going down to the trade filter and filtering by exalts only rather than relative cost might help some folk out. As 25 exalt items tend to get listed as more expensive than 1 div
God I miss videos like this - slightly lower quality mic, swearing shit ton..man, feels like 2014. Please dont change the style, keep doing what you do!
I have no idea, I wasn't really trying to come up with a hard farming strat, more so just explaining expedition. You of course could craft with expedition currency, but to be honest that is like an entire video itself, and for the majority of players, just getting their hands on some raw exalts will benefit them astronomically more so than trying to figure out how to Rog craft in PoE 2. But absolutely crafting might be the way to go for players who understand it.
About the divine inflation, people kinda did have the ability to suddenly farm 5x what they were making. I know I was able to make about 25ex/hour + a bunch of bubblegum currency and the occasional div or nice unique drop farming the beetle on my lvl 60 ranger with 300% rarity gear on. I don't think a lot of people knew that rarity had such a large effect on currency drops, as it doesn't work this way in POE1, but it does. The beetle has been nerfed/fixed so maybe the divination orb inflation will start to slow, or reverse. However, I'm really not sure about this, because a lot of poe1 people are used to divs costing a lot more, exalts drop pretty frequently, and in my experience, using exalts to slam gear is not very reliable so people may not be using them as much. But I do find that I get more divs now running mid-high tier maps with 160% rarity than I was getting doing the beetle farm.
Honestly I think the root of the problem might be the other way around. I think as a lot more people get into the end game and want the best stuff, the supply for that stuff just isn't keeping up. Plus those very same players are crapping out currency the rest of the population aren't going to see for a long time. The only people who can afford everything that costs too much money are the people making the money.
I will gladly admit to you right now that I am not sure. My thought was that for the general mid tier items that are going to be accessible to larger percentages of the player base, and given the anecdotal sentiment that I feel like I encounter more often than not, it still felt like normal people or rather the average player was still struggling to make currency. I most certainly did not consider higher percentile and more advance players, general because I feel like they will just pretty much never struggle and they probably wouldn't even be watching a video of this nature. Of course all of that is literally pure fucking conjecture lmao and I admit that I could be completely wrong. Either way I appreciate you putting into the discussion!

How do you chain slam things? I right click one by one like a noob
Right click the orb you want to use, it should be a smaller icon than if you were moving it, then hold shift and left click and let go of shift when you are done!
this guy is funny
you have my sub
Guys what happens when the game come out fully, can we merge eventually or do they split the playerbasd for ever ?
how do you aquire the bases? You farm them or buy them?
Raw drops, just keep a look out for them in the maps!
Really enjoyed this video ! Looking forward to the upcoming stuff you'll release. Earned a sub :)
Should we hit the trade site up while leveling or should we just hold out till end game and a certain level?
If you've got exalted orbs, your money is as good as anyone.
I just run ultimatum, made like 6 divines in a single run shit is CRAZY for currency
Hehe great eye! And no I wish i was, currently I am a bartender, but I am getting my master's of science in data science right now!
What are you using to show the currency under the items?
Those are premium stash tabs, that once purchased allow you to publicly list items. That would be when I right clicked it in the video, set it to public and selected a listing option.
@@klovehitch6959 oooooo I see now. It looked like it was giving you the currency based on the trade site. Kinda like how OW does.
Yea it's the price he set for an item, when having Premium Tab u put an item there, right click and set a price and it show publicly in PoE2 Trading website for everyone to see and buy it
not me slamming items listening to this in the backround
can we get an update on your build? looks fun!
Do you know a good place to farm Vaal Orbs and Lesser Jeweller's Orb?
As a new player to PoE I am confused where UA-cam put me in. Did I understand a thing? NOT AT ALL! But the jokes went crazy haha
Thank you got 10 Mirrors from this
Hey new to the game. What does slamming mean. Thanks.
It’s just slang for using an orb on an item
how much divines \ hour? Also you dont craft with expedition at all?
I have no idea, I wasn't really trying to come up with a hard farming strat, more so just explaining expedition. You of course could craft with expedition currency, but to be honest that is like an entire video itself, and for the majority of players, just getting their hands on some raw exalts will benefit them astronomically more so than trying to figure out how to Rog craft in PoE 2. But absolutely crafting might be the way to go for players who understand it.
Cool vod
hilarious commentary
idk who this guy is but he's pretty funny
PoE trading is ruthless , imagine before settlers of kalguur how even more ruthless it was :D
Can you update the build planner? You da goat
this was the funniest and most informational video thank you
I chance orb all my sapphire rings hoping for the crazy good one.
