I saw Jane's Addiction play in a small club around 87 or 88. I went there to goof off and meet girls. The band was so good I just stood by the stage all night saying "this band is really great." Couldn't stop watching. And the singer was swigging from a bottle of wine and singing, and having fun, and so was I.
My friend this album changed my life. As a young kid after a shower going to a kegger later. I heard the most glorious sounds of the Mountain Song. His voice and the band's sounds were so different than the pop music bs being pushed down our throats. " COMING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN !" God bless everyone. Even if your not spiritual. ♡
I saw Jane's Many times in the 80's and early 90's in L.A. and it still wasn't enough. I knew the first time I saw them. It's like being able to say you saw the Velvet Underground or Led Zeppelin. So grateful for those shows.
Each musician in this group was amazingly talented. Dave Navarro. Man. Was lucky to see them once in their prime. Best concert ever. Saw a video that said they’re reforming, again.
One of the best songs from a legendary album. Dave Navarro doesn't get the credit his talent deserves. He is one BAD guitarist!! Thanks for doing this Teez x
Dave Navarro really puts it down on this one. Especially that first solo. The song just flows effortlessly into it and its one of those perfections. Especially with Perry's yelps and hollers.
Sorry about the phone guys, I’ll start turning it off during my reactions, someone called me in the middle of the reaction and I declined and texted them “I’ll call you right back” and then the lead vocalists says “ leave a message, I’ll call you back” .That shxt tripped me out and they still called the house phone which I was trying to prevent 🙄😂😂😂😂
Self titled 1987 album Cover of Lou Reed's Rock and Roll transitioning into Rolling Stone's Sympathy for the Devil It's pretty fantastic~I think you'll love it! It's been one of my favorites since the beginning Also, Classic Girl (video) ! A different vibe. It's a love song Jane's style Peace to you
I think that at least once a day & pretty much have since the first time I heard this album. “I’m in the midst of a trauma. Leave a message, I’ll call you back..”
This was extremely controversial when it came out in 1988 extremely in fact her next album started the whole labeling one of many albums or bands that started the labeling of explicit lyrics and content of records
Legendary Band saw them for the first of 15 times at Lollapalooza 1 . This album is a Masterpiece. From start to finish just a different level. Great reaction!
Ocean Size u recently reviewed 🎃😈 both these songs of the Album Nothing’s Shocking….Brilliant brilliant album 🤩✌🏻The lead 🎸 in this song 🎵such a good song Christian
Every song on this album is of this quality.

Props for reacting to such a gem. Navarro just shreds on this song. Brings back a lot of good memories. Ty sir.

I completely agree about Dave. He’s bad as hell… always thought so, since the first time I saw them
I wish Dave would join QOTSA. Their riffs + his solos would be sick!
Agreed 100%
P.S. The whole album is on a different level. Listen to the whole thing alone. Do the reactions but relive it by yourself.
34 years ago this album changed my teenage life. Such a legendary, and unfortunately, overlooked band.
Let's go ahead and check this well said! I was right there with you discovering them back in the late '80s

That was cool with Teez's phone and Perry's lyrics

James Addiction, REM, Red Hot Chili peppers, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, etc. Were the new bands that put an end to the hair band era
