Wow, really enhanced this car! Good choice of color, something unique. Enjoy your channel a lot. Only wish I was close enough to have you guys put this on my BMW.
Pls. check to see... If you purchased those stools at Harbor Freight, they have been recalled for safety reasons. Mine broke, I fell off and I tossed it before the recall. These days, there are more efficient stools available.
Great info, thank you! Agree with the other comment, price for this is stupid crazy, regardless how cool it is or the benefits. I was shocked!!! If I could get a 75% military discount, I’d consider it.
I trust Jason’s experience to be honest but NOT the claim of rock chip protection. I have PPF and can see rock chip damage that tore up the film, that will not self heal. Let’s see how it handles winter roads.
he clearly said the wrap is 7-12,000 dollars. which is absolutely insane to spend that much on a wrap for an average 30-50,000 car. unless the product comes with a lifetime guarantee, its nuts.
Not a mis-speak. Mis understood on your part ($7-12K is the total). There are lots of well off people with disposable income that take satisfaction out of modding their vehicles to stand out from the crowd.
@@darrengooding8785 I guess that I am not the car nut that I once was. I get tired of the car long before it would make a difference. Make sure that you document what you pay because if you are ever involved in a collision that insurance is involved. They are going to balk at paying for this, but with proper documentation they should. I worked in the collision industry for 44 years.
@@ChicagoAutoPros there are some people that don't understand how much work and money go into doing this type of a rap, my shop doesn't do too many reps but when we do it's expensive. The guys that work doing the raps need to be paid good money and of course money to run a shop and pay for material, and then you get a guy that says no one's going to pay that kind of price when in fact they do
@@ChicagoAutoPros and you're probably have 10 more by the end of the week in the shop. Some people have no clue as to what things cost, they'll go to a guy just to get it done real cheap and that's the type of work they'll get real cheap shit and horrible craftsmanship
Love the price points on this thank god you guys aren’t messing up the industry 👏🏽
I just had my car covered in STEK DYNOgrey. Love the Nardo Grey look. Colored PPF is definitely the future of PPF.
Was it a porsche?
i look at a lot of this type of stuff and jason and his staff seem exceptional when it comes to this type of stuff

Wow! I live in a nearby suburb, and this is extremely interesting to me! I really like the finish.
Glad you like it!
this reminds me of the old days when you and e would post vlogs about the work day
you mentioned durability was ~3-4 years. What would happen if a customer left it on for 5, 10, 15 years?
If you have a ppf installation class with the business side included I am interested.
Where's the Chicago Auto Pros main shop? Glenview or Lombard?

Did or can you ceramic coat?
Gtechniq Halo ceramic coat
Yes and we did with gtechniq halo.

We will see how the wrap does over winter!
It tore up the film, not your paint. Hence Paint Protection Film. Scratches self heal, not rock chips.
You said “under $20,000?” Does that mean the cost of this wrap approaches $20K? That seems ridiculously overpriced! That was a mis-speak, right?

Another gimmick - sweet. Is this like Ceramic and Graphite combined to make "Graphene"? lol
im just wondering do you actually get fools that pay 20k for some shit like this? because if so i will imediatly make a new biz 20k for a vynil loool
I can’t believe that anyone short of a sports superstar or rapper would spend that kind of money. Why it would be cheaper to trade for a new car.
We have 5 cars in the shop getting full car wraps right now. 😊
how many cars have that type of paint finish on the trade in market

Sorry but people won't pay that much for a wrap job and if they do then they are wasting money.
Your statement is pretty funny because people pay this price all day long everyday.
I have 5 in the shop right now. 😊

@@FalloutXmaster I think you misunderstood. This is not $20k, $7-$12k depending on size and difficulty of vehicle.
