Oh absolutely - their visual design always looks beautiful - like how 16 bit SNES games looked in your head back in the 90's. Thanks for watching this one, Dan! I always enjoy hearing from you
Hey Luigi - they absolutely deserve it! They do a really good job with their design, so if making a video like this gives them that extra bit of praise - I’m happy to do it! Thanks for checking this one out!
oh man someone praising Nitrome! I've been a fan of them for I think 10 years now, their art direction and creativity with simple and ingenious mechanics is unique!
Hey Mike! They completely deserve it - those folks do some fantastic work. Their fantastic backlog is such a testament to their great design. Thanks for checking this one out
He actually did it! The mad man made an entire video about older Nitrome games!!! Seriously, thanks for making this video. I'm glad and thankful you are going out of your way to give Nitrome more exposure and credit! :-D
Hey Obi! Happy to do it - it was a blast going through these games again and getting to chuck some well deserved praise to their designs. Thanks for checking this one out and thanks for the support!
Haha I guess so! I’ve been putting off making a non specific subscriber number one that some other channels use, but that’ll most likely be within the next few weeks. Really humbling to get all this support 👍 super thankful for it!
Man, I remember playing the Nitrome flash games a long time ago, and I certainly have some good memories from them. I completely agree with Colorblind being highlighted here, with its unique and engaging mechanics making it an instant favorite of mine. Another title that stuck out to me was Ditto, which combined excellent level design, mechanics, atmosphere, and silent storytelling into one delightful package. I could also go on about so many other titles, because Nitrome just knows how to make games. The other thing that sticks out in Nitrome (flash) games to me is the fact that their games could always be completed relatively easily, but it would take commitment to collect every collectable spread throughout the levels, which were generally difficult to obtain. Of course, this allows for the balance of accessibility and challenge across the game, leaving the choice of difficulty up to the player.
Hey SS - I think you bring up some really good insights here! I need to check out Ditto more - but based off your description I’m excited to check it out! The flash games are absolute gems - really exciting to play through them again. Thanks for checking this one out!
Hey Benjamin - that’s a great pick! I love the way everything is laid out in that title - really gives a satisfying bit of conveyance to each action. Thanks for checking out this one!
I learned about nitrome through leap day, played the heck out of it and than looked at their other games. This studio is WILD! They really took "simple game design done interesting" to a whole new level. Same could be said about your Chanel. I found you under a GMTK video and just binged your entire Chanel. You deserve so much more attention! Keep up the good work, I really hope you blow up through Reddit or smth.
Hey Mayor Wolf! I entirely agree - Nitrome are masters at this concept, and I can’t get enough of it! Thanks so much for the kind words - I really appreciate you taking the time to check out the channel!
holy frick. I haven't played nitrome's games in ages. I gotta go back and play some of these, I didn't realize until now how awesome some of their designs were.
I like how Nitrome takes concepts and uses them in a different way. In their games listed here, I count Hue and Fez among their inspirations. I've also seen notes taken from Shadow of the Colossus and Gravity Guy, among other games.
Hey Bob - I think FEZ is a huge inspiration here, especially for Flat Pack! They do a really good job at picking up some cool design concepts and then running with them to new places. Thank you for watching this one!
Skip the Tutorial Thanks for reminding me about Nitrome. When your vid showed up in my feed, I clicked so that I could remember them. I have fond memories playing their games "back in the day". I used to spend excessive amounts of time playing the games on their website. I haven't kept up with them much, but I did hear about Bomb Chicken and loved seeing what they made of it. They did a great job.
Hey Refael - I think it would be great if they did a master Nitrome bundle for the switch and released it with some of the dev Hell titles (being able to play more than a demo of Flightless would be great!) That being said, I appreciate you watching this one and thanks for leaving your thoughts
oh my god i love nitrome. When i was 5-10 (so 10-5 years ago) years old it was my jam. Generally flash games were. I was either playing the fire boy and water girl games with my brother on home laptop or bad ice cream with my friends on the library computer. When I was playing alone I loved playing icebreaker on nitrome website. Those are like the few examples.
Nitrome titles haven't failed to hit that spot in simple and direct gameplay enjoyment. I always look forward to more of this development team's future projects. My money is in reserve for these guys.
Hey Desth O - you have a really good point here! They are some class acts - I can't wait to see what they do on consoles past Bomb Chicken. Thanks for checking this one out!
It's very nice to see videos like these discussing the relatively unsung games of Nitrome. I'm curious to know how long you've personally been following the company for since ou show off a tip of the iceberg of the many intuitive games made by Nitrome, and as much as I'd want to hear about game x, y, and z, I'm fully aware that isn't possible to cram into an entire video. I'm curious to know how long you've personally been following the company for. I've been wanting to make some essay videos like these about Nitrome for a while now, but you're one of the first to actually do it. And seeing all these comments is a real eye-opener to how many Nitrome enthusiasts there actually are. Many fans have migrated away ever since the controversy behind the shift to the mobile game industry, and my only exposure to the community was through the Nitrome Wiki and the now unavailable comments on the official Nitrome blog. I'm guessing you can already tell by the username and profile picture that I'm a massive fan of these games. Heck, my entire channel has been dedicated to the company. What I'm saying is I'm really appreciative of videos like this shedding some more light to Ntrome and having thoughtful discussions about it. :)
Hey Frosty! I’ve been following each new release since leap day, but I’ve gone back and played several of the titles on their website - especially while researching this video. They really make great stuff - so I’m happy to show some light on that for those who might not have played all their games. Thanks for checking this one out!
Hey LRGonzales - I think for the platform it’s on, it’s an interesting solution to a chunk of problems, but I’d be lying if I said it was all perfect. I think the focus on one hand control was good for a marketing stand point, but not having the ability to do multiple at one while playing two handed is unfortunate. I think it’s fine to give a bit of an advantage to players who play in this way - since they are fully committing to an optimal strategy for playing the game. For the same reason, I think it’s fair for fruit ninja to allow multiple swipes since at that point that player is putting more stake into their play than a casual one handed and should be rewarded. Thanks for your thoughts on this!
I love the concept of dual purpose design, thanks for this video! I have been wanting a video to go more in depth about this. Great insights from games I probably wouldn't have played myself before watching.
Hey Just JaR 👋 Thanks for taking the time to watch it! I’m obsessed with this concept - I really value compact design in all types of media, so seeing that put to constant use in Nitrome’s games is fantastic!
Thank you for talking about Nitrome. Their content is really amazing! My favorites had to be the Icebreaker series! These were some of the most tricky games I played when I was younger. The player always needed to have a feel for the weight and momentum of the ice all the time. Combine that with music that I can listen to for hours and a good artstyle, and it all comes together for a great time!
Also, am I the only one to think the original was better than the mobile port? The atmosphere felt a lot more in line with the gameplay and story, slightly sadder than the grandiose quest AVV turned the series into.
Hey Aftershock! They are some class acts when it comes game design - definitely deserve the recognition. Icebreaker is great - I'm a bit biased toward the mobile port because that was my first exposure to the title. Thanks for checking this one out!
I have tons of nostalgia for nitrome games, especially bad ice cream. I remember playing multiplayer with my siblings and getting stuck on a level every now and then. Heck, nitrome even helped start my gaming career, and im very thankful for that.
What I love about Nitrome is how they introduce new mechanics to nearly every game. “Fault Line” is about folding the world, deleting space to reach the end. “Parasite” is about mind controlling enemies to use their powers to your advantage. “ChangeType()” is about rewiring the properties of level elements to hack your way to victory. I love their creative philosophy!
Nitrome was my childhood, they always had higher quality flash games than most people Skywire was probably my favourite, it's so simplistic but the momentum based gameplay was super fun. There was also a really good game inspired by Ice Climbers which basically shows how the series could've evolved if Nintendo kept it going into the 16 bit era
Hey LimeFroge! They hit so many home runs with their titles - it’s incredible. Here’s hoping they immortalize some of those greats in a bundle or something on Switch - we need the sky wire music on the go! Good to see you here - thanks for checking it out and sharing your thoughts!
Hey mrHowlll! I know - they have such a treasure trove of a library. I would love a bundle of their best of games ported to the Nintendo Switch at some point - NMD deserves to be played with split joy con co-op! Thanks for watching this one out
I've always loved Nitrome. Other games that deserve a spot on this list include Feed Me, Skywire, Rubble Trouble, Parasite, Silly Sausage, 8Bit Doves, and Dirk Valentine.
I'm really glad someone finally talked about Nitrome! When I was younger my parents couldn't afford much in terms of quality AAA content, so I grew up with Flash games, and Nitrome's were my favorites! (ironically, Nitrome Must Die was the one I played most)
My favorite looking back had to be the Icebreaker trilogy! The levels in each game were tricky, but oh so satisfying to complete, especially when you tried to beat them in the least cuts possible. Plus, the original's music was catchy as all hell.
Hey kM! NMD is fantastic - really hope to see it come back in a potential switch bundle of their best games - it just begs for local joy con co op! Thanks for checking this one out
I remember the days where my brother and I always play nitrome because sites like y8 is crap and we play a game with two knights fighting and other I forgot, more good ol' memories.
Hey Emerald! That's great - Nitrome definitely holds a special place to a lot of people, the games are just that memorable. Thanks for checking this one out!
Has anyone ever played “Mimelet?” It’s another flash game I keep mistaking for being created by Nitrome. In that one, every time you defeat an enemy, you gain their power.
Rustbucket : Crypt of the NecroDancer :: Chess : Dance Dance Revolution/Guitar Hero. The former of each half is more turn/based & puzzling, while the latter is timing-based. I bet you could even impose your own challenge where you play Rustbucket like the NecroDancer game, to your favorite (roguelite listening-to) music, moving beat-by-beat. If you like it, you might as well get NecroDancer and/or Cadence of Hyrule.
If you want to see Rust Bucket taken to a whole new level of hardcore difficulty, then check out Crypt of the Necrodancer. It's similar in the turn-based concept, but it throws music beats into the equation, so you have to stay on your toes as you dance through dangerous roguelite dungeons.
The way Nitrome and Nintendo use simple mechanics in so many cool ways is just nuts to me. I think one of the reasons I opted out of my old dev team, no offense to them, of course, is because we didn’t really didn’t have a good base mechanic to tie everything together. It was really just, “shoot the guy and try not to die.” The best kinds of games are the ones that need very few buttons. Even some mainstream titles employ this philosophy, just about everything in the classic Sonic the Hedgehog games is done with one button - the jump button. If ever you don’t know what to do in Super Mario Odyssey, no worries, just whack it with your cap! Then again; as great as multi-purpose design is, variety and genre-mixing is just as fantastic! Think of all the different game styles in something like Owlboy, or how some Kirby bosses suddenly turn into 3D shooters. My point? Game design can be messy; you always need to do what’s right for your game. Games like Assassin’s Creed get a lot of crap for having WAAAAY too many button inputs, and yet, people often forget, in Assassin’s Creed your goal is to commit the act of MURDER. Complex stuff. So while what Nitrome does is super cool and works super well, it shouldn’t be the judging factor for every AAA game in the market. (Not implying that was your intent, just a thought I had.)
Hey Kingslayer - that's a really solid point. I think mechanics should serve to fit the themes of the game - be it simple or complex. And both types can yield great designs, it's just all in the execution. Thanks for checking this one out!
My favourite Nitrome mechanic is probably the sprite swapping one in changeType(). It allows for so many different ways to beat the game, it's awesome!
Hey CT - that's a great pick! I remember checking out that game around the same time Touchy was getting some words about it. Thanks for watching this one
Hey FN! They’re classics - it’s unfortunate to see Flash going the way of the dodo now, but hopefully we’ll see a best of pack on other’s platforms down the road. Thanks for checking this one out!
Hey Paul! I completely agree - these devs are absolute geniuses about the game design side. Hopefully they look more into console development down the road! Thanks for checking this one out
Hey Urso 👋 I’m glad you’re enjoying it - thanks for checking out the content! Nitrome are class acts at game design - really awesome to see devs that get mechanics at such a deep level
The second game could be inspired by the Shift series, except shift is in black and white, you can get "inside an object" since what's the same color of you are is considered barrier and the other color is air, and I don't remember there's any momentum manipulation in the Shift series.
Hey 👋 I’ve never played Shift - but chekxijgnit out, I really like the style! The momentum bends make so much of this game for me, so hopefully a sequel in this series will play off of that. Thanks for watching this one!
Haha absolutely, Rodrigo! They’re some class acts at this stuff and have been rocking game design for a long while - with no signs of slowing down. Thanks for checking this one out
Hey BDee! They do some great work - I was happy to talk about some of them, such as Bad Ice Cream and Colorblind in this one, but they have so many to choose from that talking about all of them would fill up conversations for days haha Thanks for checking this one out!
I love Nitrome. The only game of their's I ever beat was Square Meal. I was bad at games and had a short attention span when I was younger... This vid really makes me want to check out some of their apps; they look like they'll be just as engaging as their flash ones. Great job!
Hey Difty - thanks for watching this one! Good to hear you enjoyed it - I hope you enjoy going through their array of games - definitely have some gems there!
Great video! I’m surprised you didn’t talk about changeType(), which has one of the most brilliant yet simple mechanics in any platformer I’ve ever played.
Hey Kaj- good to hear you enjoyed it! changeType has some great design, but I don't have enough time put into it yet where I'd feel comfortable talking about it - definitely on the top of my list, though!
Hey Matt - I hope you enjoyed the video haha! I've been obsessed with this stuff since making that video, so I knew I had to revisit it down the road with all the great designs they have
@@skipthetutorial Thanks for the reply! Nitrome is definitely an amazing company, creating amazing games with limited hardware. Honestly a very good starting point for learning about creating controls for a mobile game, or even just a simple game.
I'm quite surprised to see a video talking about Nitrome in depth, they've always been my favorite I think my top 3 for Nitrome games has to be Colorblind, Ditto, and the one where you straight up _fold space itself_ to get where you need to go...which I sadly can't remember the name of. Faultline, I think?
Hey Coconut Gun - Nitrome are some absolute class acts at this stuff! I definitely agree with your selection - and Faultline is pretty bananas, gotta give full props for being willing to experiment with a concept like that! Thanks for checking this one out - I appreciate you taking the time to watch it
The only bad thing about Fault Line was it left me wanting more. It was so fun and the space folding mechanic was perfectly executed. I also have a bit of a double whammy because my favourite colours are purple and blue, and I'm a bit nostalgic for that 2008-era Internet :,) *sniff*
I love nitromes flash games and sky serpent is one of my favorite games they’ve made! Of course there are a ton of em i love because ive played almost all of theor flash games and the majority of their mobile games! Now i havent completed all of them but i still love em! Type [] or whatever its name is, is also fun.
Hey Vaira - those are some great picks! They have such a wide range of fantastic titles, it's hard to give each of them a fair looksie - plenty of classics there Thanks for taking the time to watch this one!
Hey Zhantore - DWT is great! Really satisfying control scheme, I think - makes it an absolute joy to play. Thanks for taking the time to watch this one!
Don’t know why you focused mostly on their mobile releases. The flash games on their website were a huge part of my childhood and there’s a gold mine of creative ideas there, Bad Ice Cream was literally the only one (which makes sense because all three games in the BIC series are in the top 5 games on the site)
Hey Jack! The game’s I brought up here were because of my primary exposure to the developer. Plenty of these have a dual release on mobile and flash, which makes sense given the emphasis on simplistic designs that are multi used throughout their games. Colorblind was released on browser 5 years prior to being on mobile, and Rust Bucket received a port following. I completely agree there’s plenty of good mechanics there, and if I were to work through all 100+ of their games, the video would’ve been bloated by how much their designs rock. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
Skip the Tutorial Skip the Tutorial I am a pretty big fan of the mobile releases as well. I’ve had almost all of these on my phone at least at one point. Stretch Dungeon was a personal favorite of mine for a while, Leap Day was as well. Nitrome’s website has a lot of good stuff too (Skywire, Test Subject, changeType(), and Ditto being the cream of the crop for me.) But I do understand why you chose to talk about these games (and also why Nitrome backed out of the flash game biz). Good vid, keep it up!
Hey Poppers! That’s No Destination: Burger Joint - a Classic from my “I don’t know what I’m doing” period 🤣 I plan on making those videos public again when I have enough of a backlog of the newstyle videos. I do think it’s interesting to see where the content has evolved from - but I’m biased
I'm actually almost finished with colorblind... It's fun and engaging alright but it can feel very unforgiving sometimes... I'd honestly pick turn undead instead because of the turn based mechanics combined with a nice touch of puzzle.
Hey UDD! Turn Undead is a great pick - Nitrome has plenty of fantastic design and pumps their whole library full of it, so it’s hard to narrow it down to any amount. Best of luck with your playthrough! Thanks for checking this one out
Hey Tutlel! I agree - Keybol did a fantastic job with that one and definitely puts in so many of the design philosophies that Nitrome has. I’m sure that’s why they wanted to publish it - the game fits right in with their in-house bests. Thanks for checking this one out!
Hey Crimolix! For real - all respect of Flash back in the day. I think a console future will be a great fit for the company though! Thanks for checking this one out
Hey Eltiolavara! Toxic was a great game. I remember I kept searching for toxic II unblocked back on school WiFi back in the day because teachers thought it was slowly killing our classes - so much for that haha Thanks for checking this one out!
Hey TPPP - those are great choices! Nitrome really gets game design - their whole catalogue is a blast to play through. Hopefully we get a Switch bundle of their best of games down the road 🤞 Thanks for watching this one!
Counting the amount of puns in this video is a challenge
You're onto something, Scarrken! With concepts as lovably goofy as these - I couldn't resist haha! Thanks for checking this one out
I wonder, were there any p-unintended puns...
Gosh, I sure hope not! I want full credit for those puns haha
And hey, Nitrome also nail some really neat animation!
But I'm in agreement, you can't beat a really polished simple idea with some dual purpose.
Oh absolutely - their visual design always looks beautiful - like how 16 bit SNES games looked in your head back in the 90's.
Thanks for watching this one, Dan! I always enjoy hearing from you

Nitrome games easy, you never played Tower Fortrees(or I just suck)

Okay but Flat Pack's control scheme is a hot mess. Can I just say that? You swipe and hold to walk, and tap to jump. You can only do one at a time

Nitrome games all work under the same idea:
You have one ability. Everything is based around this single ability.
And then the game is good.
Rust bucket is basically crypt of the necrodancer but without music
Haha - that’s fair, TA INC! Both are great games - really do something neat with the rogue inspiration.
Thanks for checking this one out!
I miss nitrome's flash days, i miss flash
Same
I've been playing Nitrome games since 2007. Countless wonderful memories.
Nitrome was my childhood, they always had higher quality flash games than most people
Skywire was probably my favourite, it's so simplistic but the momentum based gameplay was super fun.
3:48 "lays out". Unaware pun, love it!
Might you ever want to talk about more nitrome games
They have quite the library over the years
Hey mrHowlll! I know - they have such a treasure trove of a library. I would love a bundle of their best of games ported to the Nintendo Switch at some point - NMD deserves to be played with split joy con co-op!
Thanks for watching this one out
Game design of nitrons games are still quite cool sometimes LOL but yeh tackling and positioning
Thanks for checking this one out
OMG skywire was the shit back in the day...
Plunger was another great game with dual purpose design - Your plungers were the vector for everything that happened in the game
A video taking about Nitrome? YES! FINALLY!
It was really just, “shoot the guy and try not to die.”
The best kinds of games are the ones that need very few buttons.
Never knew you covered Nitrome in your channel!
My favourite Nitrome mechanic is probably the sprite swapping one in changeType(). It allows for so many different ways to beat the game, it's awesome!
Hey CT - that's a great pick! I remember checking out that game around the same time Touchy was getting some words about it.
Thanks for watching this one
These dudes make some amazingly good and simple games
Bad ice cream and that skyline one brings back some real memories
Hey LordJack - they’re some absolute gems - Nitrome really gets this design stuff!
Thanks for checking this one out
oh man i remember playing nitrome flash games back like in 2011
Hey FN! They’re classics - it’s unfortunate to see Flash going the way of the dodo now, but hopefully we’ll see a best of pack on other’s platforms down the road.
Thanks for checking this one out!
Its great seeing Nitrome get some recognition, they absolutely deserve it
Hey Paul! I completely agree - these devs are absolute geniuses about the game design side. Hopefully they look more into console development down the road!
Thanks for checking this one out
Another great video, keep it up!
Hey thanks Andrew! Good to hear you enjoy the content and I appreciate you checking it out
I’m really liking this coverage of Nitrome games.
Even for mobile and flash games, they are really great.
Nitrome was my jam back in the day! THE NOSTALGIA!
Haha absolutely, Rodrigo! They’re some class acts at this stuff and have been rocking game design for a long while - with no signs of slowing down.
Thanks for checking this one out
You need to check out some of nitrome's flash games. They are amazing.
Hey BDee! They do some great work - I was happy to talk about some of them, such as Bad Ice Cream and Colorblind in this one, but they have so many to choose from that talking about all of them would fill up conversations for days haha
Thanks for checking this one out!
Loving your content and style mate! I'm looking forward to seeing this channel grow
Hey MrWhippeh! Good to hear you're enjoying the content - it means a lot to me that you're checking it out!
Ive always loved nitromes games
Hey Juissi - I'm right there with you, I think the folks over at Nitrome really get the keys of game design and do
I've been playing Nitrome games for almost a decade now, easily the best flash game devs.
Hey SpK - I absolutely agree! It’s great seeing so much consistent creativity in a company - these devs are class acts!
Thanks for watching this one!
I've played some of Nitrome's games online. I've played Final Ninja, Final Ninja Zero, Twin Shot 2, and Headcase.
i played all Bad Icecream games when i young
Hey DP! It’s a great series - definitely one to boot up with friends nearby.
Thanks for checking this one out!
I love nitrome. They are my favorite app developer for phones and the switch
Hey TJ! They're fantastic - those folks really get game design at scale.
Thanks for checking this one out!
@@skipthetutorial No problem! I watch your videos ALL the Time and it was nice to see you cover some of the best Nitrome has to Offer!
I appreciate you taking the time to watch them. Thank you so much!
This video is great i honestly never heard of this company but their games look gr8 im prob gonna try 1 or 2 sometime
Hey Epic 👋 Thanks for watching it! I can not recommend their games enough - they really are some pros at game design 👍
Nitrome is amazing I genuinely dont understand why they arent well known.
Rust Bucket is so incredibly underrated
Hey Lord Ziz! I agree - from the art style to the turn based system, it's all a blast to play through!
Thanks for checking this one out!
Nitrome must die is how i found the website. Even the style of nitrome games i have never seen bring back such nostalgia.
Hey Mr. Bombastic! That's a real testament to their style, it's such an iconic look!
Thank you so much for watching this one - NMD is a great game!
Finnaly somoane else apreciate's this company, althrough im sad you didn't cover Tower Fortrees!
Bomb chicken? i cant stop laughing
I haven't seen you since 800 subscribers!
Hey Brady! Good to see you - thanks for checking this one out. I appreciate your continued support
Wow you actually made a follow-up to that bomb chicken episode!
Nice work (probably, havent watched the video yet)
Hey Matt - I hope you enjoyed the video haha! I've been obsessed with this stuff since making that video, so I knew I had to revisit it down the road with all the great designs they have
@@skipthetutorial Thanks for the reply! Nitrome is definitely an amazing company, creating amazing games with limited hardware. Honestly a very good starting point for learning about creating controls for a mobile game, or even just a simple game.
I miss bad ice cream
Hey Slender - Bad Ice Cream is a classic series, definitely a great one to play with buds nearby.
Thanks for checking this one out!
They also partnered with yacht club games - the company that created shovel Knight!
I'm quite surprised to see a video talking about Nitrome in depth, they've always been my favorite
I think my top 3 for Nitrome games has to be Colorblind, Ditto, and the one where you straight up _fold space itself_ to get where you need to go...which I sadly can't remember the name of.
They have such a wide range of fantastic titles, it's hard to give each of them a fair looksie - plenty of classics there
Thanks for taking the time to watch this one!
I am hooked to Drop Wizard Tower
Hey Zhantore - DWT is great! Really satisfying control scheme, I think - makes it an absolute joy to play.
Thanks for taking the time to watch this one!
Oh god my childhood.
Fair enough. Thanks for taking the time to watch it!
The original flash games where so good back in 2007
My favorite video was when you went to a burger place I forgot the video but it was funny.
Hey Poppers! That’s No Destination: Burger Joint - a Classic from my “I don’t know what I’m doing” period 🤣
I plan on making those videos public again when I have enough of a backlog of the newstyle videos. I do think it’s interesting to see where the content has evolved from - but I’m biased
@@skipthetutorial the good old days
I remember playing nitrome must die with my brother
I'm actually almost finished with colorblind...
It's fun and engaging alright but it can feel very unforgiving sometimes...
I'd honestly pick turn undead instead because of the turn based mechanics combined with a nice touch of puzzle.
Hey UDD! Turn Undead is a great pick - Nitrome has plenty of fantastic design and pumps their whole library full of it, so it’s hard to narrow it down to any amount. Best of luck with your playthrough!
Thanks for checking this one out
I miss the days before skip switched to just minecraft )-:
The outro music on this video..
It's quiet, but, is it from Hot Air?
Hey!!! What about tower fortress? Thats a good game made by nitrome!
Hey Tutlel! I agree - Keybol did a fantastic job with that one and definitely puts in so many of the design philosophies that Nitrome has. I’m sure that’s why they wanted to publish it - the game fits right in with their in-house bests.
Thanks for checking this one out!
@@skipthetutorial thanks!
I always pronounced it as nit roam. Ni trome makes more sense now that I think about it...
Stretch Dungeon reminds me of Loco Roco
GOD FUCKING BLESS thank you for talking about nitrome
Hey lmao - thanks for watching this one! Happy to give some praise to Nitrome - absolute legends at game design
It's a shame they ditched desktop games. The Nostaligia.
Hey Crimolix! For real - all respect of Flash back in the day. I think a console future will be a great fit for the company though!
Thanks for checking this one out
Nitrome for life!
Good luck to replying all the comments in the future
Thanks! I won’t be able to do every one forever, but as long as I can - I make sure to do my best and respond!
chill with the puns
also who remembers tpxoc
Hey Eltiolavara! Toxic was a great game. I remember I kept searching for toxic II unblocked back on school WiFi back in the day because teachers thought it was slowly killing our classes - so much for that haha
Thanks for checking this one out!
Favorite Nitrome game is still a tie between Test Subject Complete and Double Edged
Hey TPPP - those are great choices! Nitrome really gets game design - their whole catalogue is a blast to play through. Hopefully we get a Switch bundle of their best of games down the road 🤞
Thanks for watching this one!
