Lime does an amazing job. We re-seeded some appalling fields we bought, rushes, weeds, wet, rough. The lime made the re-seed shoot through and transformed the fields. Well worth it!

Yes that one is the Fuel range, but it would be very hard to get me to change from Dewalt Jim. Absolutely love them

With topping your paddocks. Try topping before you put you stock in and they will clean all the rubbish that their wouldn't eat before. Plus also you are not left with all the uneaten rubbish lying on the ground rotting.
You will find that grass and other feed gets sweeter after a few hours of being opped.

Nice video Sir! I have used Milwaukie power tools for years. They are expensive, but awesome! My son works in the tool rental business for a major home improvement chain. They rebuild customer's equipment that they bring in every day, and equipment that they rent, destroy, and return. He introduced me to Milwaukie's Fuel line of battery powered tools. We now have a 3/8" drive impact driver, and 1/2" chuck battery drill, a 6" circular saw, that pretty 3/8" drive ratchet that you now have, an oscillating multi-tool, and the niftiest job site radio that really kicks out some tunes and doesn't every seem to die. I have only one Dewalt 1/2" chuck masonry drill, which I've never had a problem with. Two of the best companies there, Milwaukie and Dewalt. They'll get the job done for ya.

If your man is on the line job all the time I thought he would of had a high tip trailer or a trailer ramp so he can load straight into his trailers, tends to make a mess if it dumped in one place and also tends to overdose where its been tipped, back in the day our boys had land drive would have went up a house end with out spinning, good video your a natural at this well done

Ya there expensive, I only buy the bodies only as I have built up enough batteries over the years. I’m lucky at times that I can sell of my older tools for new ones once they’ve been looked after.
Limes a great job, really underrated, makes some job of ground.. However those disc spreaders make an awful mess and not a very even spread.. We've a auger spreader, No mess, hardly even know we were in field and you don't do your neighbours field as well. Also you get the same application rate at the full width, you'll see stripping with the disc spreader. Loading in the field not ideal either as that spot will get a large dose, but I know its not always practical other ways.. We load 15T in the yard into spreader at a time and take it with us loaded..

Nice one Adrian, Dewalt are a decent make, but Milwaukee are much better in my opinion, but in saying that Dewalt have gotten much better, i use both, and like both of them, keep at her lad!

We have a big high impact dewalt and a small med impact Milwaukee and the wee Milwaukee is far better and far stronger
Not getting onto your business Adrian, but would you not have done a soil test first before added the lime, especially since it was the silage fields.
Yes check out our first video of our spring liming this year where we went through our soil tests. We test soil regularly to see what needs to be done, a very important job

Do they not use ramps for unloading lime nowadays? Used to always do that to save tipping on the ground then reloading the spreaders.
It’s always done that way around these parts, those lads actually got out and shoveled the last bit into the bucket.

Yes definitely, everything we do is based on them, if you look at our spring liming video from this year we covered our test results and the yearly plan
We always dampen our lime before we put it on
It’s dampened in the trailers at the quarry before it leaves.

i stick to the same brand because if you dont you gunna end up with a bunch of tools no batteries to fit em.... i buy Mc Allisters when i can they are a good brand and great tools... but the kits i buy when on special offer of dewalt and makitta cant go wrong with either of those brands
