Man, I thought the Americans were crazy with their twin V8 setups and great black smoke belching things, but here the Europeans are with 40 cylinder quintuple V8 beasts and blooming triple jet engines!
What I learned watching this video is that 3 jet engines in Europe doesn’t do any better then 3 jet motors in America does……. But 4 jet motors absolutely does make a difference
How is the jet engine power transfered to spin tires? I see it really ineffective to use jet engines in pulling since the jet engine creates thurst and not the torque therefore it's loosing its power like we can see on the video.
You do realize that engine and motor are two different things ? Engine refers to gasoline , diesel , jet , steam , methanol or alcohol where as motor refers to electric as in electric motor

i have a few questions... So the rules are the tractor has to be a certain weight with the hitch being a certain height from ground correct?? Horsepower amd how its made is open?, and the back tires have to be a certain kind in a range?? Wouldnt it be super easy to hide a small compressor/pressure chamber within the rear end that would increase pressure/size of the rear tires as it moves down the track thus increasing the height of hitch n keep the sled teeth from biting in as fast/easy????
of course you could find loopholes or ways to cheat, but i think being a small sport many of the participants know each other and view it as shared hobby rather than a professional or even semi-pro competition.
They are flagged if the surpass the 100m mark or if they loose their velocity. The tractors will simply just dig a hole with tires if they keep hitting the throttle without moving. The sled makes more and more resistance as they move down the track

3 big turbo V12s? Holy shit! I always love to see the 4 supercharged big blocks too and the jet power one.
It's not a jet, but a gas turbine from a helicopter
The quality of the video is really good mr cameraman 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I wonder how much horsepower some of these things are making
10.000 hp , some with 5 hemi's 12.500 about 2500 hp per motor.
How do they rate the pulls if every machine is red flagged after a certain distance? Are they timed?
All that does a full pull (or the Four best) will qualify for a pull off round. Here the sled is geared hence heavier
