So happy to notice the Thanks button! I’ve been enjoying your wonderful videos for years. Feels good to pay you back in some way. Thank you for continuing to share your talents and sense of humor with us. 💕
"A nice, spicy whatamacallit." Love that! Very technical. Thanks for keeping it all so much fun, Lindsay!
😆
“ you do what is true to your artwork and you know …. The people who wanna criticize that can go pound sand ! “ LOL 😂 THUMBS UP FOR THAT COMMENT LINDSAY ! I love spatters in my work sometimes . Beautiful painting as always 💕
Lindsay it wouldn't be your painting without spatter. I consider it one of your painting landmarks. Spattering isn't my favorite thing to do, so I don't. But you are known, at least in my mind, for the spatters you add.
I loved watching you create this beautiful bouquet! I am always amazed at how just one or two more layers of paint, in the right places, bring the subject of your paintintings to life. Thanks for sharing your talent with us!😊❣👏
I've been so busy I haven't been keeping up so much, but this was a delight to see come together this morning. Thanks, as always.
You don't have to justify why you're using certain supplies. You always tell us to use what we have and you're using what you have! Just because I can't afford super expensive (I'm more of a mid range person right now haha I do have some pricey products, just can't afford new ones right now 😂) art supplies doesn't mean you can't use yours. You've worked so hard over the years and you've grown your collection over 2 decades...don't ever feel like you need to explain yourself or justify using more expensive supplies. 🙂 I hope people don't make you feel like you have to. I do notice you do it in a lot of videos though haha. 🖤 Thank you for being such a great teacher!
No, I just don't want anyone to feel they can't do it with what they have.
@@thefrugalcrafter gotcha!
Being on vacation this is the perfect way to relax and not stress. I love it. Thank you!
"Bouquets are a beautiful way to say "i love you".Golden sunsets on the beach, children playing in the sand, tiny flowers along the dand lines and pretty sea shells washed up from magnificent waves,a thought as she gazes at the bouquet. "-Lynn. 🙂❤👍
Simply gorgeous Lindsay! Have a nice weekend 😀
Lovely painting Lindsay. Enjoyed watching. TFS. Happy Fall to the Frugal family.
A lovely relaxing video and superb painting too! I do enjoy how you just relax and if you need to add a white or light color you blithely mention using gouache or a pencil or gelly pen! This is a true multi-media mind set! It is much more relaxing than when I agonized over my watercolor paintings and preserving my lights or whites with Maskit or liquid frisket! or to quote one watercolor purist "The only white is the white of your paper don't waste it!" I have found most artist on UA-cam to be more relaxed and free with combining techniques and just the JOY of creating their Art! Thanks Lindsay, for continuing to bring this message to others! I am enjoying your other mantra " Use what you got, you do not need to go buy something new to create art!" Please be safe and enjoy your day!
Dang! You got the sunflower right on the very first pass. Sunflowers look so easy but I struggle so much with them and they always look stiff and overworked. Brava!
You're a wizard Lindsay.
Beautiful painting! I love watching you mix the M Graham colors on the big palette. The color palette you mixed for this was especially pleasing.
I'm so happy to see a watercolor painting from you again! I love this ❣
I ADORE your watercolor videos most. Your talent speaks for itself but its your experience and knowledge on the topic that makes it "can't miss" subject matter for me. Thank you!!
Thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous Lindsay......love love love this!❤
Lindsay, you always make things look so easy...I love it. Now, if I would only stop watching videos and put brush to color to paper. Thank you so much for sharing your talents and teaching others.
Thanks!
Love when you get your m graham palette out. They are such a beautiful paint. Beautiful painting as always❤❤
The cheap novelty palettes are fun and I like watching the unbox and swatch videos but I'd love to see you paint with more professional grade watercolors. The results are so vibrant!
I enjoy all of your videos. This is an adorable painting. I enjoy the mixed media painting and crafts you present. Textures appeal to me.
I agree with Jen P. I know it is difficult because of your pallet size, but I love it when you use your M Graham watercolors. I'm thinking of getting some, but I'm not an artist. I'm an artist-want-to-be. If I get nice paints, I want M Grahams.
P.S. This was gorgeous, Lindsay!
Thanks!
I love this painting!! Enjoyed watching this video a lot! Thank you, Lindsay!
The BEST paintbrush-dabbing-cloth I’ve found is a shammy found in the automotive section at the dollar tree! They’re yellow and rolled into a plastic tube. You have to keep the shammy moist for it to work but it’s wonderful. Reusable for ages too. All I do when I want to clean it is rinse it out with a little Dawn dish detergent and you’re good to go. Love it.
Thanks for that suggestion. I have a huge one for my car that I am too lazy to use. I’ll cut off a corner and give it a go.
Hmmm, my husband is off to Ace Hardware tomorrow after work to grab a plug so we can plug in our outside Halloween 👻 Lights. I’m going to add an automobile 🚗 shammy to his list. Right now I use microfiber cloths I have two little ones that I rinse out and reuse. I also have two bags of actual rags, that I bought. We bought them many years ago for my husband when he was painting the house and these were leftover and never used... Since then we moved again so I confiscated them. I use them until they fall apart then I dispose of them because I'm only using them with watercolors, acryla gouache and heavy body acrylics. Thanks for the recommendation, I appreciate it.
@@MPetrovich23
The thing about the shammy is it's ultra absorbent and holds tons of water without leaking. I can use it all day with no problems. Shammys are amazing things!
When I use acryla Gouache or acrylics I just fold it to a different section. My shammy is folded in half then half then half so I always have a clean section if I need it without having to wash it out.
@@capbin146
Cut off a big enough section where you can fold it in half then half again. This was you always have a clean section. Plus more absorbancy power.
@@ChristinaTodd1970 I think you're definitely onto something! 👏👏👏👏
For me the way I paint I'd get a few of them and rotate them. I can’t believe I didn't think to try to that. That's why I used the microfiber because they are so soft they don't damage my good brushes when I use them to dab my brushes.
Just beautiful! I love my M Graham paints and I’m so glad to see you paint with yours!
Another great job. Love the painting very much.
Very Beautiful Lyndsay 💖😘🦋🌻
Loved the way you mixed the colors 👍👍👍 the use of watercolor pencils was 👏👏👏
Thanks!
I really love having your big palette on screen. I am also slowly building up a palette with tubes (mixed brands) it is helpful to see the whole range you have and what you choose out of it for particular uses. I also love to see how you mix.
Lovely painting as always. Loved the way you got the look of the
I would like to see you DIY “use what you have” super granulating colors.
What do you think about making up a smaller M Graham palette to use in video?. It’s a shame you don’t use your favorite very often. Maybe could do a video on setting up a limited palette, what colors you choose and why, and why someone else might prefer different colors, etc.
I enjoyed seeing you use the M Graham, and the bouquet came out beautifully.
Yes, please! ☺️💜
I have some m graham but would love a video on color options for a split primary plus some favorites in m graham. I love the paints but haven't built out a set yet.
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to watch you create a DIY super granulation color paint 🎨 with the paints you already own. That would be awesome.
In case I own some of the same paints 🎨 as you that way I know which ones are really good for granulation. Thanks, Lindsay
Excellent video BTW... I loved this sunflowers 🌻 are my favorite flower. I actually just drew one and I was going to paint 🎨 it too.
A granulating pallet would be fun to see. This is really pretty. Shading is the hardest thing for me to do and I think granulation can help with that naturally. Thanks!
That was amazing!
Another great painting. Loved seeing the large palette and mixing area for a change. I have the same set up because the mg are so moist and I keep them flat and I pick up my standard travel WN all the time which sits on top. Thanks Lindsay.
Lovely, enjoyed this pretty painting, thankyou x
This is so pretty beautiful flowers and i love how you did the bag it looks so real and papery. Thank you
I love super granulation in my painting so I’d be really interested in knowing more about which paints have that characteristic. Please do a video on that if you decide to make a granulating pallet.
Watching you paint with the Phthalo Blue color reminded me of questions I’ve had about all of the different Phthalo blues and greens with their red or yellow or green shades and how you know which to buy and how to use them when painting. Maybe paint something using these different colors in action. Thanks for all of your great watercolor instruction. I was especially intrigued watching you go back and forth using the watercolors with your brush and your watercolor pencils.
When you added the blue to your “imaginary flowers” they instantly looked like carnations to me. You know the ones where the tips have dye on them… loved the way this turned out! The paper wrap 😍 you made it look so effortless. Happy Fall!
This was very cute. I think I will try something like this. I agree with Rdil K - maybe do a video on a smaller limited M Graham palette? Thank you for sharing.
I love watching you paint, Lindsay! It's so relaxing and I enjoy seeing your process. Absolutely gorgeous colors! 💜🧡💚🧡💜
What a beautiful fall bouquet…love the wrapping, super nice inspiration for me..thank you❤️
Granulation is yummm. Also, I liked the addition of watercolor pencils while it's wet... I'm gonna need to remember to try that next time.
Very nice, really like how loose you painted it. I think I’m going to give it a go. Thank you, I watch all your videos, very informative.
Beautiful as always ❤
Just beautiful. I like how you mix the colors to get the exact color you want. I’m afraid mine would turn to a “mud color” haha
Thank you from "saving me" from the news with your beautiful artwork. Yes, I was tempted to see it, but I saw your posting and clicked. You saved me from myself..haha...and got me back into my art with you. I hope this makes sense. Thank you so much!! Ps...I do love your real talks too. The best to all, Mary in NC.
I'm glad! If there is anything to know on the news we will hear about it. The rest is just anxiety provoking 😆
@@thefrugalcrafter oh you are so right...don't need anymore of that anxiety.
Beautiful work! Using watercolor pencils on wet work... genius! I'd love to see a list of the most grandulating watercolors.
Beautiful! TFS
Love love love
I enjoyed this video so much thanks. I enjoyed watching you mix on your big palette .
This one is simply gorgeous! I also love seeing your large palette in use even if it is only half in frame. Such vibrant colors
You make it look so easy.
Another wonderful painting, I really like the little bit of detail going over the watercolor with the watercolor pencils created. Also I'm one of the ones who likes to splatter paintings, not all of them...but most lol
Yes, to granulating pallet. The first tine I used a tube that was granulating I did not like it, because I didn't understand it was suppose to look that way. Now as my painting skills have progressed I am ready to embrace a granulating pallet!
Thank you for the tutorial , I followed along 😊
This is wonderful!
I'm super beginner and it's so helpful to see the mixing area.
Gorgeous painting, Lindsay! I Love the longer videos. I love splatters, too :). This video was so relaxing, thank you. I really want to try this one. Tfs.
Beautiful I really love your videos
I enjoyed this and tried it myself :) I was happy with it. thank you.
This is beautiful!
Very very pretty. I enjoyed watching you paint this bundle of flowers. Thanks, Lindsay! By the way, I loved how you added the pencils in, while painting!
Beautiful! painting! Yes, please make a video on granulating paints. I have a few M. Graham’s but really haven’t had the opportunity to use them.
Love this so much Lindsay! It's beautiful. 🧡💜💛
Love it!
Beautiful
🧡 Love those colors! I would definitely be interested in your granulating watercolor palette video!
Omgoodness that wrapping is fantastic! Looking at your well organized pallet has sparked me to reorganize mine since I've settled, (finally) on the colors in my everyday pallet. Thanks Lindsay 💜
It’s so pretty! I love the fall flowers wrapped in brown paper. I’d love to hear you talk more about how you do the foliage. I feel like I make these nice flowers, and a few nice leaves, but then when I want to fill in the space with more foliage or make some stems for a bouquet, I end up ruining the painting.
That’s lovely! Loved when you added the blue and minty splatters. The granulation is gorgeous. I’m always interested in painting with granulating colors and going in wet paint with watercolor pencils. So fun! Thanks for reminder to have fun!
ah so beautiful! i love it :)
It's very beautiful
Gorgeous thank you so much!
gorgeous
love the drapery of the paper its spot on. a great over all paint, tfs
Yes to granulation pallet! I have plenty of blues purples and blacks but idk if I have any red and yelllows! Loved your pbk11 video I watched it prob 5 times!
So pretty!!! I'm always amazed by your talent and how you make it look so effortless and approachable. I will give this one a try, thanks!
Perfect for fall, love the colors, so pretty! I would love a video showing a granulating pallette! Thanks Lindsay!
Love it
yes, you should do a review of paper for watercolor, markers and colored pencils. This agave paper is new to me, i have tried the bamboo, so many new products coming out, it would be good to see a comparison.
M graham are my fav paints. I love collecting them bit by bit. The tubes are pretty big so they are good value once you have them.
Just loved this! The granulation in the bag is so pretty, reminds me of burlap. Thank you Lindsay 💖
It does!
Absolutely stunning
I'd love to see your picks for a granulating palette!
Beautiful painting Lindsay. The added touches of the veining at the end brought everything together. 👍🏽👍🏽
I would love love love to see your take on a granulating palette!! Granulation is so interesting to me personally!
Love this, not simple but not fiddly. Thanks for another great tutorial. Also love your ism's, "count sand"-I'm going to borrow that one.
Well I said "pound sand" but count sand is better! 😆
Oh goodness, I must be tired. I heard, “Pounce Anne,” and immediately thought, ‘Poor Anne. I wonder who she was, and why people are mad at her?’ 😆 I think I need a nap before I attempt this. 😅❤️
Btw, tell Mr. Frugal that having your face as the ‘missing tag’ was awesome. 😄👍🏼
Hi Lindsay, I'd be very happy to see how to mix granulating colours with what I already have 🌞
Figuring out a pallet of granulating paint from what we have would be very useful!
Lindsay, this is so lovely. I will be giving it ago. Love the brown wrapper and how realistic it looks. This was a great tutorial, that put me in the mood for fall and all those gorgeous deep hued colors. Thanks again for a well taught tutorial!
The Agave acts like a decent cellulose paper, as I consider Canson XL. The paint wouldn't settle into puddles as much with cotton. I love your painting, so charming. Looks like a late season Farmer's Market find. I think you should find a way to use your M. Graham more. They are so vibrant. Thanks, Lindsay.
I would love to see a tutorial on a granulating palette. This one turned out just beautiful!
This is gorgeous. Love all of it. I always struggle with the edge of vases and flowers hanging over.
DYI super granulating palette! Yes please. I have been playing around with them too, but my knowledge for pigments is not as in-depth as yours and for some reason some colors that I thought would separate did not. :(
Hi Lindsay, i love the painting thank you for all you do. But I do love to watch your watercolor painting. I hear you mention from time to time a color you don use or don't like. have you ever thought of making a palette using those colors to see what can be painted with those colors. I thank it would interesting to watch as well as a good learning video for us out hear in video land. Wishing you a blessed day and wonderful week.
A palette of despair 😆
Очень красиво!
Hi Lindsay, I love the textures, the gradient look. I love the use of the watercolor pencils. The overall look is very satisfying. I wonder if I can use the same technique in coloring books. Thanks
If the paper is thick you can!
