sir. my flat is on collectors land in mumbai andheri w. we purchased it in 2005. we paid the collector's fee and bought the flat. it was neither registered nor stamp duty paid. we did pay the transfer fee. the society refused to transfer the flat in our name.
in 2019 we paid the stamp duty under amnesty with penalty. the society said we have to register the flat. but as per a circular in 2011 old documents cannot get registered.
we approached the registrar and filed an appeal. the registrar gave the order in our favour and asked the society to give us membership. the society has yet not transferred the flat in our name after the registrar gave them the order last month with a time limit of 15 days.
what action can we take? and can we approach the police and file an fir? the society told me last week that they have sent the order to their lawyer for translation as they dont know marathi. but its been 20 days since they gave the order to their lawyer.
