First RDU snow in 1000 days: Power Outages, Snow & Ice Forecast

Parts of the Triangle have not seen measurable snow (0.1” or more) in nearly three years. That drought looks like it will finally come to an end, but it comes down to location. Recent data has been rather consistent with the precipitation type scenario shown below.
