11:03 pm - Ryan said “treacherous” N.C. roads: Asheville,Charlotte, Greensboro, & eastward- all it takes is .01 freezing rain & sleet plus w/ snow mix ice storms”
SW OK - snowing pretty good here right now, and has been snowing off/on since about 3am this morning. Thanks to Ryan we were prepared days ago. Got the genny ready to take over in the carport, got a couple tanks of propane and a bunch of shelf-stable non-perishables yesterday just in case we lose power. Made a big ole pot of stew this morning and just hunkering down until this is over. Definitely staying off the roads - too many people in Oklahoma have no clue how to drive in snow/ice, and are usually the first ones out driving around to video the snow. smh
I live in SC I'm cooked. We are already collecting firewood and have a large stack ready. We also preped for a power outage EVEN MORE after Heline. Prayers would be nice 😭😭😭😭
@ As a former native New Englander it’s fun to see one of these fast moving storms move through Texas. The family was out earlier riding tubes down the hill . This crazy weather state will be back to the 50’s and 60’s midweek 🤪

Thank you. All of the weather I use to watch was doom and gloom. Just whatever to get views. You giving a fair take, and giving an explanation as to why it’s happening, is appreciated so much.
I’ve been watching our snow totals go down a little north east of Birmingham and ice totals go up… and a morning of 3 inches of cute snow that washes away is awesome for me (don’t love the snow, it’s why I live in the south). But ice.. that means power outages and that’s NOT cute. I can remember ice storms bringing days of no power every time. The only snowstorm that’s left us without power was the “Storm of the Century” in March of 1993. You aren’t supposed to get a foot of snow in Alabama in March! (It ruined my 10th birthday party. I’m still bitter. lol.) Thank you! I take you and James Spann and if you’re saying the same thing or close enough then I know what I’m up against. Stay safe and warm guys.

@@chellesama8256 your weather is in my yard, I need you to get it please.
i am in pain
-Alabama with only 2 in of snow
We would gladly take some of your snow!
- NH
@@chellesama8256 we will return the favor in the hot hot summer. Heat coming your way!!!
Thank you Ryan. We really appreciate what y'all do to keep us informed.
God bless and keep you all safe.
11:03 pm - Ryan said “treacherous” N.C. roads: Asheville,Charlotte, Greensboro, & eastward- all it takes is .01 freezing rain & sleet plus w/ snow mix ice storms”
I'm between Chattanooga and knoxville dreading the ice but hunkered down and ready be safe all!
Definitely staying off the roads - too many people in Oklahoma have no clue how to drive in snow/ice, and are usually the first ones out driving around to video the snow. smh
Lololol 😮😂
NE OKLAHOMA, snowing . Looks like we'll have a good accumulation.
Thank you for the update. Praying for everyone 🙏
Phew I’m early. Thank you for all of the updates!!!! We appreciate all you do over in the east coast 🫶🏾
I live in SC I'm cooked. We are already collecting firewood and have a large stack ready. We also preped for a power outage EVEN MORE after Heline. Prayers would be nice 😭😭😭😭
Hey, I'm out of the Dallas area.
The models were close, but we got snow much earlier in the day.
Thanks for always keeping us posted Ryan and team! ❄️ 💨 ☀️ ☔️ 🌪️ ⛈️
Ryan is the best weather guy on UA-cam. Accept no substitute
WE HAVE GOTTEN LIKE 4 INCH OF SNOW SINCE 8:40AM ITS NOW 1PM I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS MUCH SNOW
love from bonham texas!
Enjoy !
Same here in Haslet, TX
Have fun!!
@ As a former native
New Englander it’s fun to see one of these fast moving storms move through Texas. The family was out earlier riding tubes down the hill . This crazy weather state will be back to the 50’s and 60’s midweek 🤪
@@Mrs.Frankenstein We are! This will be gone in no time and back to temps in the 50’s and 60’s by midweek.
Thank you from Pure Michigan and enjoy the snow Ryan!! ❄️⛄
Love your channel! I'm in Indiana & your forecasts are more trustworthy than locals! Thank you for all your hard work to inform us of what's coming!
Thanks for the update Ryan! Will be watching closely from West Memphis!
Let's gooo! Thanks Ryan!
If someone in west Tennessee I have been eagerly awaiting this video all day I would like to take some prayer because our town really does not do well in cold weather a lot of car crashes and stuff
Prayers and luck for you all ❤
lol I’m in west tn also lol a little bit of snow shuts everything down!!!! I can’t imagine how this snow will affect our town lol I grew up in Indy so i like it!! Bring it on!
I’m still bitter. lol.)
Thank you! I take you and James Spann and if you’re saying the same thing or close enough then I know what I’m up against.
Stay safe and warm guys.
Y’all O Meter at the ready! 6 inches of snow tomorrow!!! Thanks Ryan! ❄️
I need to set mine up outside on my deck. Johns Creek, GA north of Atlanta. All my previous Y’all-O-Meter photos have just been … wet!
Love the channel Ryan! Thanks for the update!!
You know something is good--no, GREAT---when in less than 30 minutes there is already 8000 likes and climbing fast!!!! My GO TO place for weather... even before my local news!! Be safe everyone!!!!
Thank you for keeping us all informed. Lots of snow here in Chickasha, Oklahoma. I am staying inside for the next few days to make sure it is all melted before venturing out. Prepared ahead and got what I needed to get done a couple of days before this started.
Mid-Ohian here, we’ve been waiting for snow! Bring it up north!
If it’s going to be this miserably cold we might as well have the beauty of snow!
THAT'S WHAT I SAY ALL THE TIME!!
Now I'm not alone 😁🤗
I’m in NE Iowa and that’s what I’ve been saying! We haven’t had anything yet this year and heres Texas getting snow instead😢
@@kmilli0313 'nother Iowan here-we want our snow back!
SW ohio and we've had at least a foot of snow. You can have this one. I've had enough lol
My son lives in Franklin TN and I keep telling him about this. He tells me to quit sending updates. LOL. From your channel, I keep all my family updated when they need to be weather aware. They are sick of me. LOL. Thanks for the forecast Ryan. I'm 20 min north of Cincinnati and I hate this snow! I moved more south to avoid it and this week and Friday has ended up being a doozy!
I do the same thing with my kids and granddaughters . I’m the weather person in family I live South Carolina. Trust me get it rated but when I don’t text they call and say what the heck mom you didn’t tell us. Just can’t win. So I continue with my forcast
I want some more snow in Virginia :) I hope everyone stays safe and warm and may your power stay on everywhere!
I touch and agree in Jesus almighty name, Amen ❤ 🙏
Thank you for keeping us informed. Planning on driving from Raleigh, NC to Charlotte area Friday afternoon. Good to know what to watch for.
Ryan, your mountains are gorgeous in snow. I hope you can enjoy all that. I have family in Harlan County and I always loved to see those mountains in winter’s glory.
I’m in Christiansburg Va, looks like we’ll be getting some. Thank you
Hello fellow NRV resident. Snow and not ice and we're good. Stay safe!
Grew up in Pearisburg! Live in Lynchburg now…. Just got power back from this past Sunday’s snow storm…. Guess we’ll get ready for another!
@ yes exactly!!
“Complex” is an understatement!!! This was THE most misforcasted storm by ALL models that I have ever seen. Areas forecasted to get 4-8 inches of snow didn’t even get rain!
It's a strange winter that's for sure, my in-laws over in the Northeast (just outside of Boston) are threatening to raid my place up here in rural Montana cause they haven't seen a single flake of snow when four perspective storms went their way lol, I can never get them out here but they want to come for the snow, go figure lol.
Me: on a chair chilling
My phone (that was in another room as I was listening to music and it reads me): you have a new notification from UA-cam Ryan Ha-
Me: SAY LESS
The chair: *evaporates*
Same! 🤣
North of Columbus Northwest rather and I am so ready to be snowed in all weekend. Thank you Ryan for all you do.
We started getting snow before 8am here in OKC. Now I gotta leave for work in over an hour.
You did it! I've been shamelessly commanding you to bring snow to my area as if you have any control over it at all, and it worked! Money! Make it snow money!! 😂😂😂
It is a french toast emergency in Gwinnett County GA!
FTE (French Toast Emergency) is when everyone rushes to the grocery store for bread, milk, & eggs.
LOL.
Only to freeze and not have a way to cook or clean 😅
@SlowAndHomesteady That is hard. I do have a gas stove. I have to light it with a match, but it is nice being able to have warm food during power outages. (Yes, I do have a battery operated carbon monoxide detector)
when one flake of snow is falling a hundred miles away people here flocking to the grocery stores for milk and bread. What do they think they will make to eat? I’m all for snow but not quite as much as we’re in for. Upstate SC
