Now, I know how to make maruya the right way. I made some maruya the other day. I used plantain since we don’t have available saba. I used only flour and water. I followed one of the videos in youtube. It tasted good, but the batter was lacking something.
I mixed white sugar & cinnamon powder sprinkled it on top of the fried plantain. It was delicious.
Would definitely try this recipe. Thanks for sharing ❤️.

Hi, Vanjo. :) But mine wasn't as perfect, probably, haha. My version became panlasang Pinoy, relished in the liberty of home cooking (a.k.a. cooking without exact measurements). OK naman, nakatatlo na 'ata ako. It's dinnertime here as of this writing, so my beverage was simply a mug of hot tea. Thank you for sharing, Vanjo.
Dami q pong natutunan SA inyo..
Napaka detalyado po Kung paano po kayo magluto..
Salamat SA pagshare..

I've first tried this at our college Retreat. Then a few weeks ago, our ate cooked this for us. She didn't mashed it though. Instead she cut the saba into half and fry them with the mixture (minus milk and vanilla extract) mentioned in this video. It was still really good 👍
thats still maruya even u didnt mashed the banana saba, dati ganuon ginagawa namin

Mayroon akung tanong Sir! Pwedi na ang ibang saging gamitin dahil ang saba na saging ay! Wala dito sa Germany?
thanks for this very helpful in times of Q, for me coffee is still classic
Coffee
Cold water is enough😊
Masarap siya lalo with whipped cream! Tasted like banana crepes! 💯😋😋
Salamat sa recipe. I enjoyed it so much lalo with a glass of iced tea. 🥰
Sarap naman ng maruya..Naglilihi ako..Thanks for this video
Growing up, maruya sold by sidewalk vendors outside school, was made of sliced bananas, not mashed
Cora Salazar You can cook it either way. Some people prefer it mashed.
not an issue. mashed or not , same great taste 😉
Mashed is still ok esp if ur bananas is already ripe. I have bananas and its so ripe so I can mashed it then .
That's how we called Maruya when its mashed the other one we call is pinaypay na saging when its slice.

People can innovate naman. Classic is good but he wanted to cook maruya with a twist and I think there's nothing wrong with that.
They are looking good! I don’t understand what you’re saying though.
