Hey mike, I’ve noticed something’s about the freestyle system, hope this helps:
1. You can only free style with notes in your current bar (like if it were |a b a x y y ^^|, you could only do it with a b x y and ^ not any others)
2. Even if you hit all of em right, one note that isn’t in there will still make you closer to trainwreck
Oh, I thought it was like the bad parrapa system where it's all preprogrammed on where you freestyle to get cool

I still can't believe that the voices in thus game are from vocaloids! I kinda want Kasane Teto to at least make a vocal appearance since she's my favourite :D
Edit: I love how GUMI is Rensa!! GUMI is actually the reason I ever found out about vocaloid so it was cool hearing her here

If you missed it, there was a little detail during Jamtine's song when she and Melody says "I Love You!" where the buttons you have to press on your xbox controller spell out "BAY" which refers to when some girls say "Bae" when referring to their Husbands.

Just realized the notes that "Vanish" in Sidechain fever are sets of four of the same note, just like how sets of four critters pop in the puzzle game when they come together.

A reference to Sonic 3 & Knuckles at the into (their pose is the S&K title screen pose, & their graffiti in the background is the box art of S&K).
The graffiti dancing at the end references Jet Set Radio/Jet Grind Radio, a Dreamcast game whee you play as a gang called the GGs & they go around on roller skates spraying graffiti. The big graffiti causes them to dance as they spray it.

They included a parrapa the rapper reference in the song sidechain fever. The big bean in one of his lines says "I met a pup who was learnin' how to punch chop" and then a little one rode across the screen on a skateboard wearing parrapa's hat

I LOVE the new voices for Melodii and other characters. They sound WAY better. Not that i'm saying the OG version was bad, but it sounds even better with the update.

I like how the gameplay of this game went from 2D (with maybe the exceptions of some of the cutscenes and stuff) to actually 3D now.
So glad to see this game again, one of my absolute faves! ^^

I like that the last song is a Sega Superstar Tennis reference, complete with Cinnabay using her Superstar State if you mess up too many times, signified by the Superstar meter underneath her filling up as you mess up

I wasn't having a good day until I saw my fave green haired youtuber play Scratchin Melodii!
This game looks very good! Kind of happy with the change in voices makes the lyrics better sounding, the nods to other games too are more apparent too. To answer your question the voices in the older demo were heavily synthesized where they sounded like they were gasping for air.
Little thing I noticed, nami’s hair highlights look like voice note thingys and the girl at jam *well* is a bubble witch (if u didn’t notice that it’s crazy)

Hey Bijuu! A tip to have higer scores is to freestyle a lot but JUST use the notes that are on the suggested line, if not the game will recognize it as wrong and you wont get points. Hope it helps!
