- Part 1 of this mini greek island hopping vlog... we spent 5 days in Milos!! Aside from the unlucky weather (we were earlier in the season than expected..) Milos is stunning!! I have listed everywhere we went below for some recommendations but we would love to come back and experience Milos in the peak summer!! Come back for part 2 when we go to PAROS!

Hotel: We stayed at Plaka Suites (www.booking.co...) We thought Plaka was a good place to stay... 15minutes from the port and walking distance to most of the restaurants we went to. It is a quieter and small area but perfect for the stay. Our host, Dimitris, was supper helpful and offered to drop us/pick up from port when he was available.
Restaurants:
Archontoula - located in Plaka. Cute seating in the street and reasonably priced traditional Greek food.
Palaious bakery - traditional bakery in Plaka with ice cream, cakes etc. They do also open later in the season for sit down meals.
OKTO - very cute rooftop restaurant for breakfast or sunset dinner/drinks.
En Plo - next to our accommodation and has rooftop seating.
Glaronisia - traditional Greek food with HUGE portions.
KYRA - perfect brunch spot in Plaka (newly opened I think)
Mangata - located in port town. Was recommended for brunch but we thought it was fairly average.
O Hamos - traditional Greek cuisine, must try the Pork!
Mosaic - located in Plaka, rooftop seating is perfect for sunset drinks
Barriello - a must! The food was insane and the outdoor seating is perfect for sunset
Garden the juice bar - in the port town, build your own greek yoghurt bowls, smoothie bowls, juices etc for some quick breakfast/snack.
Beaches:
Kleftiko beach
Sarakiniko beach (moon beach)
Mandrakia (Medusa restaurant located here)
Tsigrado (only accessible via ladder)
Things to see:
Boat trip is a must! We booked through Polco Sailing and they take you to areas of the island only accessible via boat.
Ancient theatre - free and a good tourist tick list activity.
Catacombs - again one to tick of the tourist sightseeing and only costs 2 euro.
Klima - small little fishing village with cute colourful houses.
Places we didn't get a chance to go:
Sirocco restaurant
Utopia rooftop for drinks
Dom (pancake place)
Firopotamos beach
Domes white coat (hotel but can go for drinks/food)
Pollonia beach
