Let me put the record straight and clear up any confusion. Death sentence came from Northampton, I was the drummer (steve) my brother played lead guitar (mick), on bass (glen) and lead mouth (Dave). We were signed by lightbeat records.. We cut 1 E.P.. Death and pure distraction ... And featured on a compilation call Total anarchy... There have been a number of bands with the same name that followed after us, but we were the originals... Watch this space, we are re releasing ... I was shocked to find our material still lived on and had a substantial following .. 30+ yrs on and we can still be heard.. Dave our lead mouth passed away last year, so we are gonna dedicate our re releases to his family... Cheers steve - death sentence

Hey, thanks for the appreciation.. the plan is to re master all of our stuff, from early demo tapes... Not much is known about us so we will fill in the gaps with band history and pics. Only one regret!! We did not shoot any video footage of our gigs..
Good stuff. I'm Doug Donut from ''Death Sentence'' Vancouver Canada. 1982. We went ''plywood'' here. Toured a ton, and still play. Like your stuff. Cheers. DD

@@DaveAnchovies Pete passed away in 94. I remixed N.A.P.S. and ''Stop killing me'' and put it out on CD in 2009. It's all up on Itunes. Writing a new album actually with Syd.
Hi Doug, I missed your message. I know our bands shared the same name, which created some positive confusion if you ask me.. Appreciate the compliments, coming from you that means a lot.. Ours lives are very different now which makes it even more important that you are still flying the flag.. Good’on ya !! ☠️

Is this the Australian band Death Sentence from the 80's? I was in a band of the same name at the same time and we received all their stickers one day in the mail. Apparently the singer had died and they didn't need them anymore. Sad but true.
Looks like several bands called Death Sentence around the same time.. Death and Pure Destruction was my band in the UK .. We also lost our lead vocal - Dave Currie a long time ago, however the rest of us are still alive and kicking ..
