@hrv7892 That is the price of freewill, there can be no freewill without choices. A creature that can only choose to be good is not free, it's not even fit to call it a creature, more like a robot. The counter arguments to this are: "Why can't God give us freewill and not create Satan in the first place?" "Why can't God create a perfect world where there is no tragedy and pain and still have freewill?" Lucifer is also bestowed freewill by God... Yes God knows that Lucifer has two choices either rebel or follow him. And God has a plan for everything. If Lucifer did not rebel, then maybe things would be different, but God's plans remain the same. Because every choice is already accounted for. But Lucifer decided to be Satan by going to the path of iniquity. Remember that God's understanding is infinite (Psalm 147:5) There is probably a version of reality out there where Satan did not rebel. I know this comment is a year old but I just felt like writing this. Because what you said contradicts the Biblical description of God.
The words "Almighty" and the phrase "Knoweth all things" appears several times in the Bible describing to God Himself.

That is the price of freewill, there can be no freewill without choices. A creature that can only choose to be good is not free, it's not even fit to call it a creature, more like a robot.
The counter arguments to this are:
"Why can't God give us freewill and not create Satan in the first place?"
"Why can't God create a perfect world where there is no tragedy and pain and still have freewill?"
Lucifer is also bestowed freewill by God... Yes God knows that Lucifer has two choices either rebel or follow him. And God has a plan for everything.
If Lucifer did not rebel, then maybe things would be different, but God's plans remain the same. Because every choice is already accounted for.
But Lucifer decided to be Satan by going to the path of iniquity. Remember that God's understanding is infinite (Psalm 147:5)
There is probably a version of reality out there where Satan did not rebel. But these are just my opinions, as Isaiah 55:8 says "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord".
