DBFZ is the kind of game that has a cast of sick characters, there's a lot of in depth stuff to literally everyone; this makes finding a main an actual nightmare and I love it.
It’s the kind of fighting game where all the characters save like 5 have the same play style and are nothing but worse versions of the other. This game’s meta is awful cuz the game is hollow and simple.
Go ahead watch a Broly Tod and tell me you don’t feel dumb. Just play the gogetas and Broly like everyone does. This game is hot shit and lost me.

Something I've always been interested in is the regional differences in characters (France plays Vegito and fusions, US plays Broly and 21, JP plays UI and Gotenks, etc.) I'd like to see a dedicated video on that and how the metas of the regions changed and differed

Other notes on Z bully
His A asssit has 45 frames of hit stun, but only 30 of blockstun.
His B assist has about 60 frames of hitstun, and 52 frames of blockstun.
His C assist also has armor
EX Lariat always gives corner on hit and scales extremely well, allowing an armored move to lead into an easy TOD with enough bar, or spark.
However eraser blow is a very weak neutral tool since it can't be vanish canceled unless the melee hit is blocked, so raw level 1 or 3 can usually beat it if they try.
Vegeta: what kind of juice did he drink!?
Broly has infinite armor on a timer. If you can do enough hits to freeze him in place for 4 seconds his armor will break. The only way to do that is with gotenks great special rolling kick (held) > ex punch (held) and other multi hitting assists timed so that they continue doing enough hits to keep him in hitstop for long enough to break it.
So, you can only break it with a specific team setup, a hard read, correct spacing and your assists available. To get a very poorly scaled combo.
So pretty much infinite armor
Z Broly imo is top 4, with 21, SS4 Gogeta, and Vegito being in front. One of the few small issues with Z Broly, is that his 5L has a much shorter lower hitbox, which can be ducked under if you're at the end of hit box or if you're small enough at the end of his 5L range.
There's also UI, Kid Buu, and and SSB GOGETA
Also his 5LL is his only medium starter.
SSB Gogeta is not top tier what? He’s good, very good even, but not top tier. Top of high tier at best. His big flaws are poor stagger (only his lights are even remotely safe staggers) and his high risk playstyle, since a lot of his moves (2M, 5M, 2H, 5H, jH, j2H, 5S, 2S/jS, 236S, 214S) are exceedingly punishable on whiff without assists, and even on block for 236S.
Not to say he’s bad. He’s a TOD machine, his neutral, while somewhat susceptible to whiff punishing, is still great, his buttons are huge, he has beams, he finally got mix thanks to the 2L buff, he has a meterless reversal that he can combo off of in the corner, and his A assist is pretty good.

About the Armor bit on lariat, it's 10 hits of armor total
Honestly, I would like a Base Goku talk. He is really good but also it isn't apparant at first glance just how good he is.
Yea, I see how Baseku's damage, mix, and meter efficiency is insane, but I just don't see how his neutral is all that great. Would appreciate the classic cloud805 analysis on him.

I love how Zbroly should theoretical not be top tier. He doesn't have a lot of the things that current and past top tiers have that make them strong. He just has his own special stuff that makes him bully the shit out of the meta. He has been a pillar of busted alongside Kid Buu for years now. Where other top tiers have came and gone as the meta evolved, he has always stayed the same and has remained in the same position on the tierlist
Zbroly is always buffed, it is no compareable to kid buu's constant nerfs.

He's not even underrated, everyone knows how good he is at this point. He's just underplayed since his strengths still require SOME skill and typically his return is not high enough when compared to the batshit insane top tiers.
@@HAVIN_aBLAST seriously if they removed like 3 characters so some of the neat ones actually got to play? They ruined this game in the last stretch. I’ll probably never touch this game again. That and They ruined all the characters I liked and kept buffing the go to characters for some reason.

I don't remember if you did a video on this character already but what about Gogeta Blue? I'm curious as to your thoughts on him especially since he's my anchor character, and the only character that from my original team (my OG team was ssj Goku, ssj Vegeta, and Gogeta Blue. Now my current/ main team is Ui (B), Vegito (A), and Gogeta Blue (C)).

@@sphilliz4291 I was actually mad hype for Ui when he first got announced which is why I picked him up. I was recommended to picked vegito since ssj vegeta isn't all that good anymore. And Gogeta blue is one of my favorite characters in super plus like I said before he was on my OG team.

It makes me cry when I respect the side switching autocombo (since ZBroly normals Snipes you) so I block but the 5ll actually wiffs so I get grabbed by 5lll.
His frame 4 reversal is also pretty annoying since if a Zbroly vanishes if you block it you cant punish with 2h.

I main this man right here. Used to hate him, but grew to love him after seeing his first movie and enjoying his overall design, voice, and moves. I have approaching 700-800 hours on fighterz and really started to pick him up around 450. After all that time, using him in the 530k BP grind for the achievement, and thousands of ring matches with friends, I think I can say I understand this character very well
In that he’s too fucking strong
He should be nerfed, HOWEVER he should not be gutted. Here’s what I would do to fix him:
-remove armor all normals excluding heavy ones
-remove armor on light grabs
-slow down his Ki blasts by just a touch, to where they still work in combos, but aren’t as oppressive, and remove their ridiculous priority and make them clash into other ki blasts like a normal ki blast
(You should be able to react to them at least)
-tone down the shield, it's fine that it blocks Ki based attacks/assists, but physical assists that's just bs
I think these would tune him down a good bit while still keeping him top tier. Like cloud said, he fits the archetype portrayed in his movies perfectly, a minor nerf to things that are just straight up bullshit like his Normal armor I think would be a good fix

Broly is BS...I hate how you have to change your entire playstyle just to kill him. What I hate worse is when I force him in early to kill him early, and then they spark, do Broly things, and then murder me :(.
But if u delay a dps start up to where right as brolys attack is gonna hit , the dp invincibility frames will make broly miss, and brolys armor runs out before the dps active frames hit, so even a one hit dp fully beats brolys armor on any of brolys armored moves. Y’all should try practicing that to make broly negated by dp teams !
I can tell you that Kefla fully charged KI circle thing will sometimes beat the Lariat. I’ve had it happen to me a handful of times. I know it’s a shit ton of hits.
ive played zbroly since season 1 when he was trash. but that being said scooping someone out of the air is so satisfying.

5H beats ki blasts and has armor and goes like 75% of the screen. It's actually an amazing round start move.
It can also be charged, it's good for stagger.

Honestly Z Broly needs some buffs, Needs a better auto-combo, improve some frame data on some moves. In fact just give every move armor. Add a move lvl 1 Barrier that blocks everything up until 500-ish points of dmg. Allow Barrier as he Super-Dashes, Double the rate of Ki-blasts he shoots. Also he needs more Health I feel like he dies too quickly like he doesn't have 10000 health like everyone else? Kinda unfair if you ask me. When ki-charging apply the special barrier and the longer the charge the faster it increases exponentially. I.e charging from 0-7 in about 5-ish seconds. A new assist that applies special Barrier to the teammate.
(this is a joke, Z Broly is perfectly represented as he would be in the game.)
Lvl 3 oki is pretty decent to gotta guess between grab or 5l and light command grab is really good to

Jiren is a disappointment in that he just doesn't FEEL like he is what he is supposed to portray in the show like Broly is.
Jiren should've been taller (probably around Cell or Janemba height" and had much more armored moves. He feels like a completely different character. Feels skinny, awkward, and short to me. Idk....

It's called tk grab or a tiger knee grab in order to do it just do a half circle grab instead of a quarter circle

Indeed, and actually it’s technically even better, say you TK light grab, 1. It’s TK so it starts just as soon as the normal grab. 2. It’s the same frame start up so it’s just as unreactable. And 3. Unlike the grounded light grab you can vanish off the air grab, so full combo. Very good reasons to learn how to tiger knee

If Broly's barrier need 30 frames to activate, does that mean the barrier activates faster on PC and PS5 as suppose to PS4? Since in 60fps he only needs half a second, while in 30fps he needs a full second? If so, wouldn't that cause problems in cross Gen play?
