Your videos are the only thing that are getting me through this lockdown! I’m doing travel and tourism in college hoping to come out with a job with easy jet in 2 years time. Just saying you glow in every video 💕
Great video! I started an application for cabin crew this time last year but obviously nothing has come up in my area since COVID! Hopefully in a year or 2 I’ll be able to apply properly 😊
i’ve wanted to be a flight attendant since i was about 8 because i loved thinking about travelling and how much fun it seems. i’m 14 now and i still really want to do it, hopefully i apply and it works out!!
Chloemaria it was just in a local leisure centre, it was deep enough that when we jumped in we didn’t hit the floor but it wasn’t too bad! If you’re not a strong swimmer I would suggest taking some lessons in the lead up to your training 😊
You have to be 18 to be crew but easyJet’s height restrictions are 5’3 to 6’3 so you will be okay! Just gotta wait a couple years (and hope you don’t grow anymore) 🤣😊
Hiya, Do you get to take your own food on the plane ? And how do you know about your accommodation in the destination and how long are you there ? Can you go exploring ? 😂 x thanks x
You can take your own food but you do have crew food provided also! EasyJet is a short haul airline so we don’t really do layovers like long haul do, we have night stops occasionally but usually only there for 1 night, I haven’t done one myself so I couldn’t tell you if you get time to explore but I hope so! X
Hi Megan. Please can you explain about accommodations during training? I live in London and during my training I would like to come home at the end of the day, is this possible? Thanks you

Hi Meg passed my interview and have been offered a position starting training in November😁are you expected to wear your uniform during your training or is it more relaxed? Many thanks
Hi Meg, I’ve just come across your videos after researching to become cabin crew with EasyJet. How did you find the change in becoming cabin crew when you started with them? And are you still enjoying?
It’s not as tight and concealed as you might think, it’s kind of like having a rubber ring or arm bands on, obviously it keeps you afloat but it doesn’t feel too claustrophobic!
@@meganrose1259 that's alright then! Already caught the aviation bug, on previous flights, actually helped out the cabin crew as a passenger, plus got a placement with the ex Thomas Cook and Condor!
Giusy R don’t be sorry! You shouldn’t have to train in London unless you’re applying for a London base, but if you do, they pay for your accommodation 😊
Hello! You have to be 18 to be crew, however I don’t think many airlines will be recruiting again until next year anyway! That’s amazing that you have that many! The only other thing I would suggest is to get a job in customer service first, can be anything like a pub/restaurant/hotel anything where you are going to gain customer service experience as this is what they look for the most! 😌
Im currently a 17 year old doing 3 A levels that have no link to becoming a cabin crew member and I've recently decided that I want to become one. I just wanted to ask: 1. Are you allowed to wear glasses? 2. Im 5ft, so if I was to wear heels and become 5ft2, would it be okay? 3. Are you allowed to have piercings? I currently have 2 nose piercings, a belly button piercing, a tongue piercing and 7 ear piercings 4. Are you allowed to have a full face of makeup? 5. Do you have to have your nails done? 6. How does your hair have to be? 7. What happens if you feel sick on the plane? 8. How long does the training take altogether? 9. Do you absolutely have to have work experience? (Im sorry, I know most of these questions are quite silly but I just have no idea about this career)
Yes you can wear glasses No unfortunately when they measure your height you’re not allowed to wear heels, if you can reach the over head lockers they may let you off but that’s just EasyJet, I know other airlines have sent people home for being too short You’re not allowed facial piercings or any visible piercings apart from one in your ear, so you would have to take them all out for work apart from one of your ear piercings, belly button doesn’t matter, they might tell you to take it out for safety reasons when you fly but I have mine pierced and I don’t take mine out Yes you can wear a full face of makeup but all I would say is make sure it’s not over the top and your foundation matches your skin etc You don’t necessarily have to have your nails painted but they need to at least be manicured & look presentable
If you have hair any longer than your shoulders it has to be up & out of your face If you’re ever unwell whilst flying you will be looked after, but if you get frequently sick when flying I wouldn’t recommend doing the job at all Training with EasyJet is 3 weeks No you don’t need experience within travel you just need some customer service experience as that is the main thing they look for!

Hi Megan, I have some questions since my training course is May 31st and I want to be well prepared :) Do I have to bring my own food during lunch time or do they provide it? How many exams are there in total? What happens if you don't pass an exam, can you repeat it? Are all exams written or spoken? In your first days of flying, if you had any doubts, did you feel that the cabin crew around you helped you? Do you order the uniform while in training or before training? (If someone has their training on May 31, let me know so we can create a Snapchat group)
Hello! Best of luck for your training 😁 You can bring your own lunch or get food in the terminal, your choice! There are around 5 written exams I believe and I have no idea how many practicals but they’re all things like opening and closing the door, emergency drill etc. If you fail you will be able to retake, but if you fail multiple exams there are only 3 chances in total to fail, if you exceed this you may be pushed back to another group. Yes the cabin crew are incredibly helpful, everyone was new once! When I trained we had our uniform fitting on the first week of training and it arrived by the end of the week but I’m not sure how it works now, I believe you order it prior to training now. Crew food is provided on every flight but you can also bring your own, there are no private lounges for EasyJet.
You have to be fluent in the language of the country you are based at I believe! But it’s not a requirement to speak more than one language, although you get paid extra if you do! X
Just to check that your vision is accurate enough, it’s okay if it’s not though you’re allowed to wear glasses/contacts, just sometimes people might not know they need glasses for seeing specific things until they get their eyes tested!
Annisa Hasan yes but also just general day to day tasks you will do as crew you need to be able to see clearly but EasyJet allow glasses/contacts so even if you don’t have perfect vision you’ll be fine!

I wanted to be cabin crew from the age of 7 do u think it’s my passion and do u think they would except me
Ice tea Watermelon of course! You can do anything you set your mind to 😊
How do I get into cabin crew? I did travel and tourism at college doing L3 but want to go into cabin crew x
I just applied online, you don’t have to have any experience just maths & English gcse and some customer service experience 😊
@@meganrose1259 fab! Will keep an eye out for any vacancies ... what are the regulations regarding like hair, makeup, nails are you allowed false lashes?x
@@michaelacummins194 hair must be up, makeup you can pretty much have how you want as long as it’s not ridiculously over the top like to the point of face paints and things like that 😂 yes you’re allowed false lashes and nails have to be all the same colour so you can’t have one colour and then glitter on one nail like some girls do! X
Hi Megan, I have some questions since my training course is May 31st and I want to be well prepared :)
Do I have to bring my own food during lunch time or do they provide it?
How many exams are there in total?
What happens if you don't pass an exam, can you repeat it?
Are all exams written or spoken?
In your first days of flying, if you had any doubts, did you feel that the cabin crew around you helped you?
Do you order the uniform while in training or before training?
(If someone has their training on May 31, let me know so we can create a Snapchat group)
I forgot to ask, before you fly, do you have access to the airport's private lounges? Or do you have to bring your own meals during each fly ?
Hello! Best of luck for your training 😁
You can bring your own lunch or get food in the terminal, your choice!
If you don’t speak another language will they keep you in the uk? Xx
You have to be fluent in the language of the country you are based at I believe! But it’s not a requirement to speak more than one language, although you get paid extra if you do! X
Megan Rose thanks, just if I do become cabin crew, I really want to stay in the uk xxx
Yes of course you can! They will only assign you the base you apply for xx
I’m a easyjet pilot
Why do you have to have your eyes tested?
Just to check that your vision is accurate enough, it’s okay if it’s not though you’re allowed to wear glasses/contacts, just sometimes people might not know they need glasses for seeing specific things until they get their eyes tested!
@@meganrose1259 is this when there's an emergency, you need to see clearly?
Annisa Hasan yes but also just general day to day tasks you will do as crew you need to be able to see clearly but EasyJet allow glasses/contacts so even if you don’t have perfect vision you’ll be fine!
@@meganrose1259 thank you so much. Just been made redundant and thought of a career change but I'll apply when there's a vacancy.
Annisa Hasan no worries! Sorry to hear that hun, maybe see you in the skies one day ✈️
Do they pay you during training?
Yes 🙂
Do you have stay over sometime?
Not with EasyJet, I’m at BA now
Is the training free?
Yes and you get paid for it
@@meganrose1259do you get paid for normal salary ? Any explanation please ?
@@FlyAudit yes you get your monthly basic during training
