Thank you both. I’m 37 and came out of a relationship with a man Satan planted in my life because I didn’t wait on God. Your relationship helps me to know I must keep the faith God has His best for me. Thank you. 💙❤️

It's nice to see you so calm about it at 37. I'm 23 and never been in a relationship I was too busy chasing different idols and stuck up "no girl was worthy of me" but since I've been saved I really want a relationship but it's easy to be impatient so it's nice to see you so calm about being older and still waiting with patience.

With that said, I'm still open with knowing more people and giving a chance to girl I come across as suitable partner. I try my best to avoid places sluts "roam" especially tinder, church is a great place to get to know new people and find your future partner

Lots of people say they’re a Christian, but they practice sex outside of marriage , they use profanity, they don’t care at all to read the word and I don’t see any fruits. In general , a Christian truly follows Jesus and obeys him. 💙 And absolutely legalism is not Godly. Women have to be careful that a man isn’t reading the Bible just to impress her until he gets her. It has to be a genuine act, something he does willingly and not to impress a woman .

It was nice to have Adam’s point of view about modesty. I used to dress very modestes but when i found myself at almost 30 not married i stopped and started to dress with shorter and tighter clothes as a way to attract my husband. It definitely enabled me to get a lot of attention from men but still no marriage, so now I’m back to being modest but it is challenging. thanks for this video 💝

      Hi.
I hope you already got married in these 2 years, but if not, the problem is not in modest clothes. And anyway, a more "attractive" style of clothing does not mean short and fitted clothes, but I think you already know that. I am in the same situation, we really live in a world that has lost its values, with the distance from God we become nothing more than rational animals, because we already subject our soul to superficiality. For a long time I thought that the reasons why I didn't get married were either physical, or that the world has degraded in many ways and it's hard to find a truly Christian man. But... actually I had many unresolved traumas from my childhood that programmed me to attract toxic people and full of emotional wounds, because I myself was full of wounds. I'm not saying it's your case, because I don't know you.
But I leave this comment in case it will ever be useful to someone, we always attract what we are and often we block our own paths because we have an emotional baggage behind us that needs to be thrown away. We have to imagine what we want in a partner and first, be ourselves in this way. Otherwise, we will attract all kinds of people who either do not respect us, or cannot love, or are manipulative or simply inappropriate.
When we accept and love ourselves, asking God to be able to accept us, as He accepts us, we hope that we will also meet that right partner.
Moreover, if we tend to idolize people, we should know that God will never send us a man whom we will turn into an idol, into our god. That was my problem, the trauma programmed me to idolize people, and the "prize" was ... exactly, a narcissist.
      Good luck, all the best.

I think that modesty is very important whether your married or not. As a Christian I do believe that my body is mine but also the Lord's. I also know that there are men out there that are struggling with lust/porn/etc. and I personally don't want to be the reason why they are struggling or a trigger. "How can I prepare myself to be the bride for Christ" was so good! Be your best self for God, for yourself, and your future spouse.

It's very important to find a godly man. I have seen many Christians no longer going to church after marrying a non-Christian. Remember, its God's time, not our time.
I have been single for all my life, my focus has been on self improvement and building my faith. Because while waiting for the right person to come, you have to be at your best to welcome that person.
And just recently there is a new girl just started joining our church and the cell group I'm overseeing, even tho I'm not particularly attracted to her, we still chat and hangout some times. I certain can see a lot of positive responses from her in our interaction, tho she kinda hinted that she isn't attracted to me as well but we know if the only measurement is attraction, once that is gone, the relationship will fall apart. So we instead focus on something more fundamentals like our principles, values, chemistry, teamwork, faith...

Since I m in my 35s and my image or body image does not resonate with what I believe or I have to be more earthly. Sometimes I pretend I dont expect for what I look for. Noone gets me. Wow love that - Eagle and seagulls!
When I fight the fear and negative whispers of the enemy. "Your future husband will probably cheat on you" or "You know your love is too much, and you are going to scare him away." My usual reply to the enemy now is….. "yeah, you’re probably right. But then he’s not the man God has for me."
I have found through this journey how God has really developed a deep understanding of unconditional love, seeing the value in a person, what stillness looks like, godly boundaries and a whollllllllllllllllllle heap of the p word…….. patience! 🙊 He has helped me to understand to look past what is presented to one’s character, then you can discern whether God is flying the red flags or it is something they are struggling with and just need someone to walk alongside them. However when it comes to a spouse forever is a very long time and we/you don’t want to mess that up. So waiting this side is so much easier than fighting the other side. I have done both!
@Adam & Sarah Your content is so beautiful, I "stumbled" upon it last night when I couldn’t sleep. Then funnily enough today my mum randomly sent me two of your stories. 😮 needless to say I have bing watched you both today.

You are so beautiful Sarah! And Adam seem to have a very calm spirit! IT IS TRUE that at the early point we should spot the redflags, it is really much easier to say NO early on. Thank you for uploading this video:)

“It’s easier to say no now than it is to say no later”
So true.. I ignored the Holy Spirit when I was dating my soon to be ex-husband. I got to a point where I was tired of waiting and I took matters into my own hands. I stopped trusting in God for my future. I married a counterfeit and it was the hardest 5 years of my adult life. It’s now ending in divorce. It was the hardest “no” I had to say. I encourage everyone, wait on the Lord. Don’t make marriage an idol. Don’t desire marriage over Gods will. Keep Jesus as Lord of your life. He knows what’s best and He is going to love you best by giving you His best.

What a beautiful segment. You cant expect God to bless you with someone amazing, God-fearing when you don't even know where you stand with God. It is vital you ensure that you work on your relationship with God, then you will for sure see Him work in your life.
That's why Mathew 6:33 "seek He's kingdom first and He's righteousness and all the other things will be added unto you" and as you seek him Proverbs 3:5-6 "trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In al your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight"
This video, truly was a blessing 🙏

Sarah, from the beginning of the video I loved the way your husband was looking at you💛💛💛 also I noticed your outfit, I can tell you are a classy and fashionable lady and you irradiate light and warmth and it is very curious that you guys highlighted the importance of the way of presenting one's self and right away thought of you as a great outfit inspo. I am single and started my walk with Christ a couple years ago, and am glad I just stumbled upon your video because I have learned that one of the most important decisions in your life is your career, friends circle and your partner. God bless you both 💛💛💛

I'm glad Adam mentioned the bible highlighting part. My car got broken into and they stole my purse. The only thing that was in my purse was my Bible. It was very old and all highlighted, I knew where every verse was. I got a new Bible and I won't be highlighting it. At the end of the day what matters is that I have the scripture in mind and heart

Greets In Him Whom we serve! Just found this lovely video (and channel!) half an hour ago and felt so led to watch it immediately. Felt much spiritual warfare since hitting "play," and more so once I decided to leave a comment. Once I scrolled down anyway (despite the keyboard which suddenly broke, the light that fell over across the room, yada yada), I understood everything; the first comment revealed Brother Adam's last name, which I understand (my family speaks the same language :). The reason this is significant is because I was literally JUST (as in not an hour ago) praying with tears about the connection to my best friend, who is resistant to The Glorious Gospel. I've thought (and hoped...) for years that he would finally capitulate to the screamishly-loud Calls Of The Holy Spirit To him, and then was JUST THIS MORNING saying "I give that friendship up now" -- not the friend, but the close tie with my brother.
(Not because he's dragging me down, but because it hurts too much to even admit how inoculated he currently seems To The Gospel. Just as both of you said about half-way through your great video!) Long story short, The Holy Spirit Asked me (again, JUST now, and before I saw dear brother Adam's name) "So, what would your ideal husband look like?" (and I started out with "Well, Thine Maker Is Thy Husband, O Lord!" hehe but then...) "Hmm, sold OUT To You, JC," I began. And then all the usual suspects, "Passionate about serving YOU, O AWESOME LORD, great at tech stuff so we can start a praise band, and... speaks Arabic." I added that last bit half-heartedly (my BFF is an American, and I was raised in Alex and also FL, unfortunately, lol), but then was like "where on the planet would I find a SAVED guy who's never been married and hopefully never even dated (I haven't) and over 40? AND with "akhla2" (don't know how to translate, but basically "morals")...who speaks my language?" Especially since most Christian Arabic-speakers I've ever met either married very young or are nominal Christians (or "ritualistic" rather than "relational"). (That I've met, btw. I know there are lots of people out there, and I haven't travelled heaps of late, but the steps and the stops of a righteous man are Well-Prepared By The Lord! Also, whether he or she marries a human in the first place, and praise Be To Him For His AWESOME And PERFECT micro-managingness Love!

I’m in a weird spot right now. I previously was in a relationship where it felt like God brought us together and that we would end up together forever. He brought me closer to God and he was such a blessing in my life. But now I am realizing more and more every day, I was not much of a blessing to him. I was still holding on to modern society and trying to be an independent woman. It’s crazy because I’ve had so many issues that I brought into every single relationship and no matter what, that baggage was always there. He left me only 5 weeks ago and I have healed so much through God. It pains me to think that my ex may not come back because of who I was. I wish I could show him the person that I’ve becoming. I know that whatever God has planned for me will be so beautiful and will help me learn things I need to. But it’s hard because there is so much unknown. I’m a junior in college and it feels like a few months ago I need exactly how my life would play out and right now, I have no idea. I still have a gut feeling about us ending up together but I’m terrified that I will be wrong.

I have been wrestling with God this year and he is really starting to speak to me and order my steps. I have avoided praying for marriage for years due to past hurt and in fact would not of been able to hear God even if he did speak as my heart was frozen. I have finally opened up after much healing and he really is starting to speak loudly and give me pictures, words and visions of marriage backed up by scripture.
I believe in this season God has told me it’s close and to prepare myself to be submitted to a man’s covering. I have been single for many years so am very independent and it also ties into trust so this makes perfect sense to me 🙏🏽
Love your videos there part of my preparation for the good gift 🎁 God has for me ❤️💯🙏🏽

I watched this video at the right time. I am single and have always been single with no boyfriend, no prospects and have never dated anyone or been approached by anyone in my life. I’m also 24 years old. I’ve always thought that it’s because I was so ugly and weird. I’m an introvert, shy and have social anxiety and I’m also what they call quirky. I wonder if I’m still single because I don’t act like or look like a lot of women in my community or in my area. I’m glad to see my friends find their spouses and get married, but I always look at myself and wonder when it would be my time. Especially when I see it a lot, I’ve been super discouraged and feel like I’m not qualified for marriage even though I desire it. I wonder if maybe God doesn’t have marriage in his will for my life. I ask God why I would have the desire if there’s zero signs of anything happening. But as you have said, God wants us to have a relationship with him. I have always ran away from God whenever I go through difficulty because I didn’t think I was worthy of coming before him and that I was already doomed to hell. It honestly last week that I started having a new desire to seek God always. I still have a lot to heal from. So many traumas and hurt that God is probably wanting to heal me from before I get married. I prayed to God years ago that I don’t want to burden my husband with my traumas and I think God is working on me. It still feels super depressing that no man approaches me, compliments me or wants to talk to me, but I try to now give it to God and let him take control over my life. I want to trust God.

This really was a beautiful video. You two are clearly on fire 🔥 for the Lord and there were so many pearls of wisdom. It is easier to say no in the beginning, and the red flags at the beginning are indication of more that are hidden. The Lord is so faithful to reveal them. We have to be wise with our time, because we cannot redeem the lost time, only God can. Thankfully it is His heart to ❤️. I also loved how Adam spoke highly of Sarah’s coaching business. It wasn’t a selling point but more of a genuine appreciation of Sarah’s work.

I keep a notebook with my Bible and scribble down notes on it instead. The biggest reason is my obsessive compulsive tendency, but the other reason is I am left-handed… and smear ink and highlighter all over everything! Given our Bibles limit space to write in, it is impossible to rest my hand in a position to avoid smudging the pages! Unfortunately, my notes are not all that organized yet since I just recently started studying my Bible deeper, but I am sure the Lord will help me figure out a system (maybe put certain colored tabs on the pages to designate certain subject matters in order to return to them later)!
