Thanks for posting all the clips. Especially this final section(I liked the way this was edited at the end). This is one of my favourite moments from the show. Very moving. I saw this cast 3 times on broadway, plus one showing of the cinecast when it was released and I think they did an amaazing jobs. Kudos to the cast and crew.
The look Adam has when the girl playing MiMi jumps up is great. It's that look of "Whoa! What the hell was that?" I wish I could see this live. The movie was amazing.
I absolutely love your note here--this show can ahve that effect. I cried when I saw this in the theatre...probably the hardest this show had affected me since I saw it the first time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful thought!
This is just amazing. Thanks for putting up the whole show. I watched the whole thing from beginning to end. It was amazing and I fell in love with it. I'm so excited that the show is coming to my area. I am going to try my best to see the show. I know it will be completely worth going. I fell in love with Adam, he depicted Roger so well.
i am BAWLING! this is such an amazing musical. im glad to have seen it. in these harsh times when people like me cant even afford RENT its nice to be able to at least appreciate these beautiful broadway shows on web if not on stage
Okay, my school chorus sang "Seasons Of Love" in November last year. My friend (a broadway fanatic) knew it. Then we watched it at her house for her party (I didn't pay attention) then I got curious. I am now a RENT *FREAK* It is amazing. I wish my current school chorus would do it again. :33
omg i would love to be in a closing cast but it would be so emotional i don't think i would be able to stop crying for one second of the play. that's why they're crying at the end cos it's the last performance
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! i cannot help but laugh at rogers face when mimi comes back to life... it is like wtf is happening!! what is this crazy arse talking about!! I
@SailorMoon257 I agree maybe if a bunch of random people from broadway show up at Rangeview demanding to see our version of Rent they migth rebuild the stage and redo the show. Lol it would certainately be weird though
I've loved this cast very much so far, but I have to say, Adam and Rosario nailed this whole sequence in the movie. Especially Rosario once Mimi came to. I've never seen a scene done so fantastically. Still, no complaints with this cast! :)
@Oren754 All I remember is that it's about this convict who tries to live a normal life and there's this cop trying to find him, and there's something about a girl and a revolution lol
Right, I remember when he came out of the stage door when I saw rent right before it went off broadway. My friends had to hold me back from jumping his bone.... hottie hot hot.
@Oren754 I think it is kinda long, but I still don't remember much lol. But it's not boring, at least I don't think it is. You should go see it anyway (:
Will Chase. Gaaaaaah. Eargasm. And I love how, at 0:30, Will looks at Adam with a "WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, WHITE BOY?" look on his face. Makes me laugh every time.
I often say that Rogers' voice isn't right for this role but "Your eyes" proves me totally wrong. The way he says "There's something I should have told you" proves me totally wrong.
I saw it too, I think it's because he's supposed to be a recovering drug addict. Most who are addicted to one, like Smack, are addicted to others, like Blow - which is inhaled, causing them to wipe their noses periodically.
Pretty shit camera quality and general upload quality (especially when it cut off/replayed/cut to different parts/I couldn't tell exactly where it ended), but overall that was a beautiful musical and performance. I'm not in tears.
Puddle of tears and feels
Such a great musical and this is like my first time seeing it
You should have watched the original Broadway cast or at least the movie it has all except a few original vast members
I love Rent. its one of my favorites. plus wicked. everyone is very talented. I love everything. The movie made me cry.
mimi is an amazing actress!!

I love Roger's reaction when Mimi comes back to life
Amazing cast!!! first time watching rent and i love it! thanks so much for posting!!
thank you so much for uploading!!!
The look Adam has when the girl playing MiMi jumps up is great. It's that look of "Whoa! What the hell was that?" I wish I could see this live. The movie was amazing.
This is first time I actually seen the whole thing through, and I love it a lot. Thank you the uploads!
I absolutely love your note here--this show can ahve that effect. I cried when I saw this in the theatre...probably the hardest this show had affected me since I saw it the first time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful thought!
This part is beautifully done! I love Roger's acting! He's amazing in this scene!
Roger, I love you, but are you really playing Mimi the song now? The girl is dying for crying out loud.
I saw this on stage in 2008 on broadway and it's still amazing on a screen
Thank you so much for posting this up!! This is truely an amazing story, and it is performed well done! It's my most favorite musical of all time!
This is just amazing. Thanks for putting up the whole show. I watched the whole thing from beginning to end. It was amazing and I fell in love with it. This scene is so emotional. Love this cast. All of them.
this is the first show/movie/whatever. to make me cry
this is very well acted and sung ! i was crying the whole time
Soooo amazing, all the songs give me chills, especially this one
Thank you SO much for posting this!
i am BAWLING! this is such an amazing musical. im glad to have seen it. in these harsh times when people like me cant even afford RENT its nice to be able to at least appreciate these beautiful broadway shows on web if not on stage
This was just so amazing. I loved it
Thank you
Yes it is. It's called Rent Filmed Live on Broadway.
I adore the finale b so beautiful
Damn it Will Chase! Why do you always make me cry when you sing "Your Eyes"
When I saw this on tv my power went out as soon as Mimi died so I never knew she survived until seeing this😅
THis is amazing. I cried buckets.
@Oren754
Yeah I know, it was all over facebook.
I'm sad it's gone too. It was a wonderful performance.
@Oren754
I'm taking those next year too.
Cause AP Art is supposedly taking a trip somewhere and I got into an upper level choir.
I will always love rent no matter how old it is.
Okay, so almost everything about this scene is absolutely perfect and makes me tear up... but that "Oh my GOD" at 4:52 just cracks me up every time XD
"Yes, we--Oh god--Find a candle!"
Rogerrrrrrrrr!
That's one of those parts that I've backed up about a hundred times to listen to again...
every performance should be like that
@SailorMoon257 I second that totally! Though if you notice both audience actors and teachers are sad that Rent is gone :(
Oh Rent, I'd die without you.
i cant even
@Oren754
That's because it was Madison, Camille, Voelker, D.J, and Ian with Salinas playing the guitar.
I'm amazed at how much talent RHS has
omg i would love to be in a closing cast but it would be so emotional i don't think i would be able to stop crying for one second of the play. that's why they're crying at the end cos it's the last performance
His face when he comes back to life lol
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! i cannot help but laugh at rogers face when mimi comes back to life... it is like wtf is happening!! what is this crazy arse talking about!! I
Wow I was thinking the same thing!! (about him playing Judas)
It is still on it's final tour.
I did that with "Who said i was talking to you!" in one of the songs before that >.>
The song Roger sings to her is "Your Eyes", and then after that it's like "Another Day Reprise" or something
Why does distance make us wise?
I love the thing that Marcus Paul James and Andrea Goss do before they all group together...........life..........love........no day but today
@Oren754
Yes.
Mostly because I want to, and partly because I have to write a critique for choir.
@SailorMoon257 Good for you I hope you enjoy those classes next year :)
@Oren754
It would be really weird, but AMAZING! haha.
I can't wait to see Les Mis, I'm hoping it's the musical one.
EXACTLY
I love the 'MIMI' :)!
@Oren754
I would looovveee to be in one of the theater classes.
But I'm taking choir and AP art instead.
(cried) AGAIN
@SailorMoon257 I agree maybe if a bunch of random people from broadway show up at Rangeview demanding to see our version of Rent they migth rebuild the stage and redo the show. Lol it would certainately be weird though

and yes she is
I like Tracie toms from the original film she was excellent!
@Oren754
Thankss (: I'm sure I will!
omg original collins!!
me too!
Best ending ever!!!!!!!!!!!
@Oren754
All I remember is that it's about this convict who tries to live a normal life and there's this cop trying to find him, and there's something about a girl and a revolution lol
@SailorMoon257 What's Les Mis even about?
...did I miss something. I feel like it skipped a part... :/
@SailorMoon257 Well I love art to and kind of got a vip pass to BPA but you can try for next year
Oh my goodness, this mimi is amazing!
Is this version avaliable on dvd or something?
Right, I remember when he came out of the stage door when I saw rent right before it went off broadway. My friends had to hold me back from jumping his bone.... hottie hot hot.
@DarrenCrisslover15 HE HAD HIS CAMERA...LOL...DOES THAT COUNT
@Oren754
I think it is kinda long, but I still don't remember much lol.
But it's not boring, at least I don't think it is.
You should go see it anyway (:
omg the girl who plays mimi is F'in beautiful!
well he didn't have the song written until then. he hadn't seen her in a year, and it took a year just to write that song. :P
I love Roger's black nails.
@RossWoodhouseMusic I know right
it's over :(
I don't care what he says, that song is the best!
when he says no its kinda funny
@SailorMoon257 I plan to do you?
0:09
Is it just me or did roger look like adam lambert for a minute there
HAHAHA!! I'm sorry but I found it hilarious when Maureen went "OH MY GOD." :D
Will Chase. Gaaaaaah. Eargasm.
And I love how, at 0:30, Will looks at Adam with a "WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, WHITE BOY?" look on his face. Makes me laugh every time.
"Your eyes" and "Finale B"
if Finale B sounds vague to you, thats exactly the title
its because the original cast from broadway visited them
How does one nearly die better?
me too
Now we need to watch Queen ....to 'find [mark] somebody to love" :P
I often say that Rogers' voice isn't right for this role but "Your eyes" proves me totally wrong. The way he says "There's something I should have told you" proves me totally wrong.
Whoo Hoo. This version kicks the film's but.
LMAO @ Roger's face when MiMi wakes up
@SailorMoon257 Same here except for BPA
It's trying to say that no disease is stronger than love.
WHAT KIND OF 9-1-1 OPERATOR PUTS SOMEONE ON HOLD?!
I should tell you, i should tell y......JUST TELL HER ALREADY!
I swear, am I the only straight guy who just loves the shit out of this show? Seems like it.
Yah. They get painted halfway through the play I don't know why
so straight, so epic, i love this wayy more than my girlfriend. AND she saw this on Broadway.
I saw it too, I think it's because he's supposed to be a recovering drug addict. Most who are addicted to one, like Smack, are addicted to others, like Blow - which is inhaled, causing them to wipe their noses periodically.
