    I really appreciate the beautiful comments. I should add if you are going through serious trouble you might want to seek special help or assistance and you don't need to try to fix it all yourself.

    Finally a video that can explain what I'm feeling right now. I'm stuck in life and I feel everything is out of place. I even break up with the girl that did her best to be the perfect girlfriend. Also gave up to many opportunities that are presented to me. I'm currently a 4th year university student and this video really help me to move on from the things that are happening to me. Thank you so much for making this video

    When I feel stuck in life it feels like I’m not motivated to do anything or I try to rush the thing I’m doing. I don’t know how to feel motivated and patient.

      Don't rush yourself . Well , specific in achievements or skills , i injured myself while trying to rush.

      @Benjamin Bogle - Pursuing Progress I'm 17 as well, and I procrastinate... A LOT
      So there are those days where I have a to-do list and everything to try to rush and improve myself, and my relationships and my knowledge, ALL of that in just one day, and eventually get stressed and procrastinate a lot more in result. I love to learn about psychology to try to break that cycle by the way.

    Hi Max! I'm another newish fan that's surprised you don't have a million followers. Your spanish learning video was the most inspiring of them all to me. Something I would really love to see is you going 30 days doing a zero/low waste lifestyle!

      Hey Chantal! I'll definitely have to make that one happen. Currently on the cards for future videos are some form of no social media, a where am I now (revisiting the last 24 challenges) and speaking with a singing teacher today. But zero waste I'd love to do!

    First: Great message. It's a solid mix realistic and useful advice that anyone could theoretically use to positively affect their life.
    I have two observations: I don't think that all the extra stock footage makes your video objectively better. Yes, it's shiny and an easy way to add production value, but it doesn't make you more relatable; you make you relatable.
    Second, there's a decent chance that someone served this video could be seriously distressed. It could be depression, substance abuse, or simply being worn down by life. Twenty seconds at the of the end urging people to seek any special help they need, while reassuring them that not everyone can bootstrap themselves to happiness in every situation, would be a welcome addition.
    Anyway, good stuff and I'm looking forward to your next video :-)

      @MaxsMonthlyChallenge  5 років тому +2

      Hey, thank you for the thoughtful comment.
      I'm still unsure of the stock footage. For me personally I think it helps for people that are watching this as one of the first videos of me. They don't know me and for me personally it helps me connect to the information. I'll keep playing around with it but really appreciate your feedback.
      To your second point I totally agree. I'll pin a comment with that thought :)

    Awesome video mate. Know all too well what it is like to set an unrealistic goal.
    Earlier this year decided to do a 50km charity bicycle ride. Was severely underprepared but still rocked up on race day. Struggled to ride the whole 50km but got it done.
    Honestly have not had a better feeling that setting that challenge and getting it done, gave me momentum for my next challenge!

    I just turned 25 and feel very stuck in life right now. Graduated 3 years ago, got a job straight away in a field I had no interest in and was a step down for my level of degree. But did it anyway because of financial struggles. Met someone at work and ended up falling too hard to the point where we were about to get married soon but couldn’t go on because it got way too toxic. I even had to leave my job for my own mental well-being. Felt completely stuck afterwards struggled with severe depression being unemployed since then (and I still am) engaging in extremely unhealthy behaviour. Honestly surprised but thankful I made it alive through 2019. Not being able to help my family financially at this age is what pains me the most. It’s hard to see your parents working at this age and not able to ease their burden. The guilt is so huge and it’s a constant struggle of still trying to figure out what I have to do and how I need to do it when I don’t know if I even have any dreams anymore and past traumas keep coming back to haunt from time to time.

      Lewis Lee honestly I’m wondering the same thing but I have come to conclusion that simple things add up. For instance, taking in cans to recycling gets you a few extra dollars, selling old clothing or sneakers, setting up a garage sale to sell whatever old things you don’t need/want that other people may need, and if you live in a neighborhood ask your neighbors if they need help landscaping, gardening, or anything where it benefits them to pay you.

    I've always struggled with the ethics of cutting "non-inspiring" people out of your life. I hear this repeated again and again by successful people. Is this not a primal source of depression, then? I mean, the downward spiral that most acurately depicts the life course of someone with depression could be a direct effect of this ideology/value, right?
