Seeing Michèle back behind the wheel of the Quattro brings tears to my eyes. 🥲
Audi needs to make a reunion with her, Walter and Stig. Quattro legends.
@@after_midnight9592I'm sorry Stig is... still alive..? I'm sorry for being rude, it just I always thought he's... died for a while now. I never heard of him for a very long time. I do now Walter is still around, he's sort of active
@@meowiguess903 Yeah, he's still alive.
@meowiguess903 it was mikkola who died a couple years ago. I named my son Hannu.
he is still alive and even has his own yt channel 😊@@meowiguess903
This is so awesome. It makes me so happy to see not only Lia, but the whole family doing their things. But how appropriate that Lia gets to shred in the Hoonitron.
It is such a tragedy that Ken can't be here to see how far Lia has progressed in short amount of time. Its because of him and his guidance that she's where she is now. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this girl. She's already achieving some amazing things at a very young age.
He’s watching from heaven
He is definitely watching and guiding her in spirit, R.I.P Ken
as much as it hurts I think it will elevate Lia to even higher greatness
He is there standing right next to his highly skilled daughter
Absolutely agreed jperk323
Michele Mouton.. What a legend behind the wheel of the S1 Quattro!!
Absolutely incredible. Such a deep emotional moment to have Lia and Michèle together. Hope to see more from this.
With Michèle inn-put, Lia will be able to learn even more from the old days to improve or perfect her skills for every opportunity she will have along with Audi team..
@@poplaurentiu4148 hopefully most of the problems michele had to deal with have been ironed out by now.
@@JTV84 I'm not really sure what kind of
problems you think off for Michèle..
@@poplaurentiu4148misogyny probably, even Walter Rohl said that she didn't want to lose to Michele just because she's a woman.
@@poplaurentiu4148 problems with the car and with other people in the sport.
Michele was an absolute animal of a driver in the most insane era of rally we've ever seen.
Man, I always saw Lia as the next Michelle Mouton, I never thought I'd see them together.
To see Michelle Mouton behind the wheel of the quattro was emotional enough. then they had to put Lia in the hoonitron...... That was a tear jerker. What an amazing promo. I would love to see behind the scenes footage of this with Michelle driving the Quattro on those mountain roads. And how it felt for her to be behind the wheel of that car again.....
Glad to hear that you're enjoying this content so much!
@@AudiTo put Lia’s name alongside Michelle’s is an insult to Michele. Michelle is the best female driver of all time. A rally legend. What has Lia done in racing? Her claim to fame is her last name.
@@jsilva7005 gfys
Thank you Audi, Michelle and Lia. Lia you do your dad's legacy so proud!!!!!
Incredible footage and demonstration of the progress. What a pair of trailblazing drivers. ❤
Indeed, thanks!
Trailblazing drivers in trailblazing cars. What a combination!
@@Audi so this being focused towards rally, does that mean there's a road version of the hoonitron in the works??
We cannot comment on this at this time.
@@Audi lol
Bloody brilliant. I am a huge fan of Lia. One of my favourite moments was Ken teaching Lia at 14 to do donuts.
The footage of Michelle drifting in the dirt of Pikes Peak in the Audi Quattro is some of my favourite all time rallying moments.
That's a really heartbreaking moment.
Now get her and oliver solberg together in a monster energy audi works wrc team!
Michèle is a HERO
I remember sitting in front of the TV with my mouth open when Michel was hammering down those incredibly fast times .... Gives me goosebumps to see her an Lia together ...
You made my day
That is a big pleasure and honour for us as well, thanks!
I remember when Ken first taught Lia to drive a rally car. She's destined to go much further than her dad ever could have imagined.
Seeing all the progress Lia has made would've made Ken so proud, there's no one else more deserving to sit in that seat, keep it up!!
Okay, hear me out: if she can get comfortable in F1 academy, then I'm predicting Lia Block, F1 debut with Audi/Sauber in 2026.
Is she in Academy?
@@sports2hedz542Yes, she's joining in 2024 w/ ART and she's also part of the Williams driver academy
But F1 by 2026? Is that even possible with the superlicense system?
@@captainalieth Yes, very hard but possible; the hardest point is the required point gathering with at least %80 completion rate. She needs to be an outstanding driver and place at or near the top to achieve F1 2026. With ART she has 3 options:
FIA Formula 2 Championship
FIA Formula 3 Championship
Formula Regional European Championship
She can gather required points within 2 years, but it will be hard, win the Championship as a rookie hard. There are extra 17 points she can gain, but only 10 of them are in easy reach at this stage for now.
Basically, if she makes into F1 at 2026, she will make the headlines worldwide.
Too much too soon. Remember the girl needs a life too.
@@CosmicSeeker69 You think any of the current F1 guys have a life?
I hope there will be an extended cut of the driving footage from this day, because the amount of rehearsed, corporate and heavyhandedly-edited talking isn't great... but the sight of these two in their incredible machines is awesome! I also hope they get to have an authentic chat together sometime in another video.
Indeed, it's a soul-less, sensationless, emotionless, subsecond-cut marketroid ad-video typical the stupid XXI century. At some point, I even wonder if it's just bad CGI.
Remake the film with a simple natural take, on both people and scenes, the freaking actual roaring and exploding motor sounds, instead of editing-in those ridiculous fake electronic beeps, and it will be a thousand times better.
This literally brought tears to my eyes
It is very emotional, indeed.
This is awesome. Gave me goosebumps
We had those, too.
Me too. Me too.
I thought I had kicked out the onion chopping ninjas but they seem to be back.
Michelle has nerves of steel, I really hope she can be a mentor for Lia, they’d be a powerhouse. Make it happen Audi!
When discussing the Quattro, this car will always be unmatched in Lia's heart because of the vintage Audi Quattro that she rebuilt with her Dad and his crew to be her first daily driver once she got her license. His spirit lives on in her and within the Quattro legacy. ☮❤🎶
Great collaboration, lots of stories to tell. Progress can only happen where you respect and learn from the past. Kudos to Audi for supporting women in motorsports (sorry Michelle, not everyone sees it the way you do - yet).
Audi Definitely make the most complete looking cars in the world. ❤❤
Audi team, this for me is the best video you've ever uploaded 👏
Thank you very much for the words of praise! We are happy that you enjoy our content.
Agreed. More of this please 🙌
Ken block would be proud. Fly high ken 43☠️
Man was hard to watch Lia choke back her tears talking about the first time she got in the car
Cool, but I still won't forgive the fact you abandoned the R8.
I love how everyone has Lia's back, I hope she's gonna be one of the greatest
I really love the sentence: I don't want to be the best woman, I just want to be the best. Not hiding behind being a woman is the right attitude. Michèle did that 40 years ago.
Mostly, but she also complained that men were treating her differently because she's a woman as her times got better. What she didn't understand is that didn't have anything to do with her being a woman. They would do the same to any guy and even treat a guy worse.
Wow!
Michèlle Mouton, Audi and You!
Still got Chill‘s and Goosebumps all over my Body!
So amazing!
Take Care Lia, and enjoy! 🤗
HAPPY that KEN BLOCKS LEGACY WILL LIVE ON...
Ok can we just acknowledge how great the hair flip transition at 1:11 is
Audi perfected the AWD not only for the consumer market but also for sports and their electric iteration opens a new chapter. Michele Mouton was one of their best ambassadors alongside Walter Rohrl-well the Audi S1 e-tron pays great homage to a woman who challenged the best in herself.
Great to see Michelle back behind the wheel of the Quattro Sport. It still breaks my heart every time I see Lia without her dad to watch and guide her on her journey through the motorsports world. I can only imagine how much she misses him and how much she still hurts. The world lost an icon but Lia lost a father and an incredible role model. I’m looking forward to seeing how Lia matures and progresses in the years ahead and how her relationship with Audi grows.
A future legend next to an already legendary woman, i've never expected to see them together !
Lia said San Marino instead of Sanremo... Two completely different places, but both linked to the racing world.
The best compliment I can give you Lia, you are your fathers daughter!!
They should make a movie about Group B Rally and Mouton's impact on Women's Racing with Lia as Michele.
Holy cow, was that the blood type next to Michèle's name on the car!?
This video is amazing, and Lia is right, in rallying you're not supposed to be the best female, but just the best, regardless of gender, and Michèle has shown that it is perfectly possible to win, you just have to believe and have the confidence that you can. I wish both ladies best of luck and happiness in their lives! Thank you both for everything you've done for us rally fans!
I was in San Marino this summer and driving on those roads all I could think about was how there needed to be a rally stage there.
Legendary Michèle Mouton
Thank you Audi for continuing to support and work with the Block family...incredibly classy.
Wow, not a soulless video for once! Gives me hope for the future, finally.
Why can't we just stick with internal combustion engines. I'm losing hope in humanity
Hoonigan should do the next Gymkhana production with Lia at the wheel.
Back in 84 I saw the Quattro for the first time! Nascar and F1 was popular. I showed my friends the recording on my VHS. They were in awe!
This in return made me by a 1994 Urs4 in 2008. My dream car is the Audi S1 E2.
One day I will make it to Ingolstadt to go and see these cars! Would love to visit Audi tradition too!
Bravo à Michèle et à son fantastique parcours.Hope the same to Lia.
I've been curious to see how Audi would handle the situation they found themselves in vis-a-vis Ken's passing. Glad they chose this route.
this is the proof that we can have some happy moments in the modern days. Lia is really the best girl to follow the steps of michelle. Lovely
The steps of her father!
Long-time fan of Audi. This is awesome 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Speechless, with emotionally charged adrenaline rush, ✌🏽❤️🇰🇪.
I started crying when she said she wants to be the best
you rock.
rip ken 😔
see this is how you do it, no wokeness anywhere. disney should take note.
S1 will forever remain mythical and legendary
still an EV
Why is everyone is trying to make electric cars, I hate them
la MAGIA dell'editing...... vanno a passo d'uomo ma nel video sembra che stirano le gomme 😂
Michele coould still drive the wheels of that Quattro
WOW!! THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!!
AUDI MUST BE THE MOST AMAZING COMPANY IN THE WORLD!!
Michele mouton, one if not the best driver an survivor of group B rally, the competitivenes is insane there
Her relationship with Audi is going to take her straight to F1 within the next decade and im here for it! WRC, F1 maybe in 20 years an Indy 500 or Daytona 500. The future is Lia!! LFG!
Thank you for your words of appreciation.
This gives me goosebumps

Uff!
Those are really beautiful words.
I am so happy for you Lia. You are an inspiration.
Two legends on the screen right there.
... one already established
... second one in the making
What was it again? 6000ft lbs?
Wow, go Lia! So thrilled to see you growing into this next chapter of your life! ❤
I was the same age as Mia block when I was rooting for Mouton in the rally championships. Living in France at the time, she was a rockstar! Great to see Audi support and promote Lia Block. Good choice!
I'm not crying you are
Michele needs a movie or docuseries
There"s some great ones on YT already!
Perfection.
E-rally finna go hard
Ken would be so proud 😢
When Prodigy met the Empress
so well deserved for Lia, she will show the world a lot in the future 🙂
Formula E❌ Rally E✅✅
As a fan of your dad, I wish you ALL the BEST. As an American racing fan, I want you to win at whatever you do, because female drivers, (just like Michele) have always been considered "underdogs". Some people assume that the sport's best drivers will always be men. They are WRONG. The pavement, the track layout, the road, physics, gravity, inertia, the tires, the engine, the speed: NONE of those things give a shit whether you are a man or a woman. I am pretty sure that TRUE AMERICAN racing fans, ALWAYS root for the "underdog". Go get what is your' !!!!! BE the best.
"I'm not here to be the best female, I'm here to be the BEST".
Now THAT's Feminism and Anti-Bias in it's finest! BRA-VO, Lady!
Looking forward for you success in the future!
Ken Block's interest with EV was mainly for Hill Climb competitions, especially Pikes Peak where combustion engines lose so much horsepower the closer they get to the finish line. I think no one can deny that Sebastien Loeb is a far superior driver than Romain Dumas, but Dumas is the record holder in Pikes Peak driving the all-electric VW I.D., beating Loeb's time by 16 seconds. Most of the time Dumas gained on Loeb was at higher altitude when the Peugeot was no longer able to generate max power. I always wanted Loeb to return to Pikes Peak driving an all-electric vehicle because that would almost be like sure money he'll beat the all-time record again.
got goosebumps
Ahh .. Michelle Mouton…… what a legend … I loved seeing her in that Audi Quattro ……..fantastic driver….🇬🇧🇫🇷
Let’s hope Lia will be better at WRC than her father, because let’s be honest, he sucked badly when confronted to real WRC pilots… WRC is no gymkhana; it’s serious business.
LANCIA DELTA S4 is not comparable to AUDI 4 and PEUGEOT 205
Gods sake women will conquer the world jajajaja !! - A new Icon for the rally era? - PD: Please leave me with the petrol engines and truly hp power.. I will never understand the silence of electric engines..
Life will become always difficult when we have to beat others. Is not a question of gender, it's a question of law.
it is really impressive that the daughter is following her dad's career and hobbies with such advanced EV Quattro with the rallye champions directly
Do it, Lia. Realize your potential. Carry the torch Michele lit, not as a woman but as a champion.
Also. Dump electric race cars. They are terrible.
Can we get Ms. Mouton at the eifel rallye festival in her old audi through Audi tradition? That would be really cool together with Mr. Blomqvist.
Props to Audi and the relationship with the family. Long may it continue and Michelle still got it.
Were seeing a star being getting ready to blind us with light. Go Lia! Long live Mouton!
Put Ken's name on the car 1st. It's his masterpiece. Such a selfish kid and car company..
Your father would be very proud of you Lia.
Sad about that electric bullshit, cause you miss the loudness and feel of rally, but otherwise, great video.👍
