Testing the RELATIVE DENSITY (by Ms. RUAULT-DJERRAB)

This video introduces the remative density test, which is a basic test used to identify minerals.

Stated in words, Archimedes’ principle is as follows: "The buoyant force on an object equals the weight of the fluid it displaces". This principle is used to measure the relative density.
