Just did my delete last weekend, got the full Y-Bridge intercooler pipe set up from HSP. very happy with the products, how it feels and sounds is much better. that being said i have 300k miles and my stock Y-bridge wasn't very loose (still some play so no beuno) but i ripped that P.O.S right out.

"Not as fun as wheels, tires, lift kit etc" lol im running stock wheels and tires at stock height with " the works" ( tuned, y bridge, intercooler pipes, intake, exhaust, lift pump, turbo, and a bunch more) and i have lots of fun. All the limp modes for my stock trans
I just finished up doing my head gaskets. My truck was the same way, I ended up welding it and problem solved 🤙🏻
as someone that owns an LLY, most of the overheating issues/head gasket issues can be avoided by doing the bigger mouthpiece and egr delete kit. I just did a head gasket job, wasnt fun. with the right parts you can avoid having to do them.

The hot side pipe should be part of that if you do all the other mods just so you don’t have all the other pipe bigger and that one smaller also it has a weird bend at the charge air cooler witch is slowing air movement going into the air charger great help for anyone getting a duramax or have one and want to start modding great job man

Don't do it. Look up bulletproof diesel I think they're in Arizona. They have it figured out. The 6.0 is a bargain priced diesel, save on the price of the truck, put your $ on aftermarket upgrades for less than a stock Duramax.
