I'm ot going to lie you are so patient and gentle with your hair ... Something I find very difficult to do 💔😭
You are THE ONLY youtubers that PROPERLY applies her rinse off conditioner 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. As a chemist who makes these products, I'm happy that someone is following the instructions on the bottle 🤣🤣🤣.
Good to know 😊
This is literally how everybody applies conditioner. Y’all say anything on these apps I swear 😂
Thank you so much for warning us that there were no products listed. I still watched just because of your HONESTY/TRANSPARENCY ❤️
You’re welcome
Its not about the brand its about the technique yes I agree
Yes indeed. Any product will for someone as long as they are consistent
Your hair has grown so much! Looks so healthy
Thank you
can't wait to see a natural youtuber have 1mil followers again. I get so sick of america's hate for natural black beauty. you don't need dread locks to be a beautiful naturalista
Your very patient with your hair ,nice toturial
Yes I have to be so it doesn’t break off too much.
Your microfiber towel is so cute! 💕
Thank you
Welcome back sis missed you
Happy New Year 🥳. Missed you too
The matter what i do my hair will never be that manageable without sections. If i dont leave it in sections through out it tangles up and my hair is the same length as yours and i get trims and everything
Maybe the products you’re using isn’t effective for your hair. I notice some products helps with manageability and some don’t. Try experimenting until you find the perfect fit.
@@Tyiece I can't wash my hair without sections either. It's not a product issue, it's just not an option for everyone. My hairstylist doesn't wash my hair in sections and it drives me nuts because my hair just gets so tangled - and that's with using pro products. Everything ain't for everybody.
My hair does the same thing. That's why I started separating into four sections even when I shampoo and then when I apply conditioner I can twist within those sections. This also makes it easier to wash out the products.
@@michelea2326 i thought my hair did that cos it is 4c, but it looks like her hair is 4c too and the brush just glides through it like nothing so idk
@@Goodshihh her hair doesn’t look 4c to me but even if it is, everyone’s hair is different. There’s no one thing that’s going to work for everyone. I learned the hard way about not washing in sections and I’m not letting one girl on the internet change that for sure. At the end of the day if not washing in sections works for you, do it. If what you’re doing is working for you KEEP DOING IT. She’s not you, she’s never dealt with your hair and she’s not your stylist. Take what she says with a grain of salt.
Your hair looks so healthy and beautiful. Please were can I buy this double teeth comb you used. I need it thanks
Love your videos and I have that very scarf! Love it! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you and that’s so cool we have the same scarf
Video was posted on my birthday 😊 and am a big natural hair girl
Nice!! Happy belated birthday girl 🎂
Wow it’s beautiful 2 hair braids it cool
The best way to wash your hair and avoid the shade is to twist them or clip every section you washed
Your hair has grown 😍! Well done 👸
Thank you
But the question is how do you know if your hair is healthy if you don’t blow dry it or straighten it to do a length check??? I just saw a trend from TikTok where people show how their hair is beautiful and curly and it’s looks so healthy but when they finished blow drying or straightening they have extreme breakage and messed up ends….something they can’t see with their natural hair is curly 😭 now I’m stressed ! Loll
Blowdrying and straightening aren't essential. I've NEVER straightened my hair. You don't need to blow dry hair to know if it's healthy . The way it feels and how your ends look in styles (if it thins out for example) will tell you. You can do length checks with a measuring tape. As for the people on tiktok they may be using wrong methods to blow dry that's why it looks unhealthy but their hair may actually be healthy.
@@toyinaina6747 I never said it was essential. For someone who’s new to the natural hair world like me I can’t tell when my ends are messed up if it curly. I don’t straighten or blow dry my hair often and when I do I’m very careful. It’s way easier for me to check if my ends are healthy that way. That’s why I’m asking how do we know if hair is healthy without having to do all that…because I have no idea. She’s been natural way longer than I have so might as well ask in the comment section even though she might now answer 🤷🏾♀️
This is sooo true. You have to at least do a soft blowout sometimes because it's hard to see the health. My stylist recommends every 3 - 4 month.
Now, I do not do it myself, I go to her. And when she blows it out. She doesn't a very light blow just to stretch it (so my hair is still a bit damp) then she trims the ends (if needed) and reshapes...if needed. I Might not be explaining this well because I'm not a professional stylist. But it's hardly any heat applied. Sometimes I wait 5M depending on the covid variant that's out 😷 🤣.
Thanks Tyiece!!! Nice vid!!!🎆
You’re welcome and thank you
Hey Ty i just subscribed after watching a few videos of yours. I was just wondering if you've ever used TGIN or any Mane Choice
Thank you so much for subscribing. I have only used the Mane Choice masks and they were ok. I never tried TGIN tho
Wait a minute…did you rinse out the instant conditioner before the shampoo????
Where can I get the comb you're using?
Prepoo is great for detangling b4 I wash but my hair hates Conditioners as a prepoo. Aloe vera gel and olive oil works great for me. If my hair has alot of build up I like to put ACV on my scalp & hair to loosen it up so when I shampoo my hair doesn't get matted.
Nice do you use a fresh aloe plant?
@@Tyiece I use fresh aloe plant most times I do this prepoo (not all wash days, depends on. my time allowance and how my hair has been since the previous wash day).... it's my favourite thing eevvvvveeeerrrr... I would even put aloe juice in my spritz if I had it more readily available.
Whats ACV if you don't mind?
@@TheNikki44035 Apple Cider Vinegar
Thanks for showing the proper way. Lol
Any advice on low porosity 4c hair? My hair is always drying out 😢
Low porosity thrives off of steam. So try deep conditioning weekly under a steamer, dryer or hot cap. Cleanse with a clarifying shampoo or clay mask at least twice a month.
I'm 4c LO PO as well, and my hair is THRIVING from old school products . My go to is water, curl activator, and seal with dax grease(green)
Hi Tyiece .How long have you been natural for ?
3 years
Maybe I’m tripping but I like to watch the process and something has your hair at ah stand still if your not cutting it
Cause theres no different in length of yo hair from ah year ago
what kind of wide tooth comb are you using at 1:09, would you say you enjoy it more than a regular tangle teaser?
Yes I enjoy this comb. It’s a Goody shower comb
Please how many years have you been on natural hair journey
Over 3 years
@@Tyiece oh okay tnx much
How long should I wait until I wait to wash my hair again after this?..
You should wait about a week
When your scalp says to.
@@LeopardSequin Exactly.. Because I have to wash twice a week OR ELSE.. Lol..
@@chiquitafederico296 FACTS! I can stretch it just a little during the winter. But summertime? 2 washes/week MINIMUM
