I purchased the Onyx XT, which is perfect for me. I previously had a Forester wilderness, but unfortunately it was totaled so I decided to get the Onyx XT. I love it because I love the blacked out and extra cladding. It has the Harmon Kardon sound system. It has the front camera and it has the full-size spare. I miss is the navigation, which I really liked. I know a lot of people don’t, but overall, I am very happy and I love the turbo. It is really terrific and quiet. I heard about some problems with the wilderness outback that the Forester wilderness did not have and also the wilderness outback was just a little outside my price range so this is a great compromise for me.
Just purchased my first Subaru…a 2025 Outback Wilderness! With a few extras I added it bumped to $48,000…including taxes, registration etc. It’s a great car. No car is perfect and there are a few slap my forehead items that made me say: ‘what were you thinking Subaru’. But I’m looking forward to having this as my daily driver and also taking it to my Utah Rocky Mountains and the Southern Utah deserts like Moab. Thanks for the video.
@ so far I’m really liking it. Added some nice additions already like raptor lights, dedicated 12” subwoofer, more tint, carbon fiber etc. Will also be adding a Thule roof box and more aggressive AT tires. None of that is necessary but I like making it my own.
I think the Onyx Xt is the best! It's the most like the wilderness: full-size spare, front camera etc. I like the stratac seats better than leather for going on adventures and I didn't want my Subaru watching and commenting on where I am looking - for an extra 3K.
I have a 2014 Outback Limited. I am waiting for the 2026 redesign before I decide where to go next. I sat in the Crown Signia a few days ago. A very, very nice looking car. It looks better in person. A bit more sporty looking in the flesh. The Signia "felt" smaller inside and in the cargo area than the current Outback. It is going to be interesting to see how much customer crossover the Crown Signia might poach from the Outback loyalists. My impression is they will draw two different customer types. The Signia feels like a car you drive to the Country Club for dinner or to a client's house for a meeting. I don't see many folks throwing a kayak on the top of the Signia. As any Outback owner knows, you can beat the living hell out of an Outback, run it through a car wash, and beat the hell out of it again. It is like a dog rolling in mud. You can also get an Outback in a lower trim for 15-20K less than the Signia if one desires. There are lots of rumors about the 2026 Outback redesign so it will be pretty exciting when the reveal happens. Very nice review, Chabby.
I’m not a fan of the plastic cladding, especially on the front end. My SUV has built in nav with traffic that I use all the time. But these are very popular, especially here in Colorado!
Nice car, good quiet ride, turbo pep good but fuel mileage really not competitive.Front is intend ed to be sporty but the overall effect is messy. No nav or sunroof. Please. This is s very expensive Subaru but pleasing, roomy vehicle. My choice would b an Imprezza R.S. 2.5 and hold cost to $30 K. Very good review!!
Thanks Louis! The Outback has gotten bigger and more brawny for sure. Impreza not in the same class of vehicle, but a good choice if you don’t need the size of an Outback.

Wish the front passenger seat would fold down to transport 2x4's or anything long, snow ski...

Thanks! Thank you for watching and the feedback. Much appreciated 👍
Test drove the limited xt and the turbo makes all the difference between the other models. Probably getting one soon
Any comments are how breathable the startex seats are like in the summer time?

I saw a lot of them when I was at Yellowstone and Grand Teton last month.

По шумке не объективно, разложенный салон и не установленая шторка…
И чтобы вариатор был порезче режиме S разумнее использовать.
