Very powerful! I agree with Phasha coalition don't work because they put the transformation agenda in abeyance. The closing of Masha is on point, only those who are for sale get to rise in this inherited system. To the former Mayor, there is no apolitical service delivery. Liberation of Africans from socio-economic bondages is the only thing that matters.

Politics is not stagnant, politics evolves over time. The problem is people expect democracy to be perfect and its not but it is one of the best systems that protect ourselves and our societies. Musi Maimane spearheaded the force of independent candidates and that is part of the evolution of politics and democracy, because of that he should be applauded but because people dont understand democracy or much about politics, they dont appreciate such, they seem to think its part of his job......its part of our job to all be activists and know where to challenge or introduce certain things we think will advance our democratic systems. Look at the ideas of Thomas hobbes and how John Locke took those ideas and enhanced them , today they are the basis of democracy and rights all over the world. After seeing how fragmented our society is and also facing potential retrenchment, I decided to go overseas for work, got here and saw how systems work, and after thinking 🤔 for a year, I decided to study politics while here so that when I come back I can contribute to the betterment of SA. We all have a role in moulding our society, our democracy and politics. Danko
