- The Tusk Wireless Hour Meter is perfect for any ATV, Dirt Bike, or Dual Sport. This hour meter uses the vibration from your engine to count hours. Monitor the total hours and record a partial time so that you know when it is time to service your machine. Easily mounted by a double-sided 3M adhesive sticker anywhere that it can pick up your engine’s vibration. Waterproof sealed case to withstand all elements. Hour meter has a 4-year battery life. Included with two-year warranty.

Mounted it inside the airbox works really well :D
Thanks for the honest review, after a long day, a wired set up that was installed with a fresh brain is probably best for me.
*Sarah Gilbert* Hey, there is nothing wrong with that. Thanks for watching!
Bought one and so far it works great
Nice. We appreciate your business with us *Kaiden Viik.*
That was 6 years ago, what about giving an update!
Bought one thinking it was wired and it already had 0.5 hours on it which is not resettable. So much for the lock out.
That’s amazing 💯
Does it sense the vibrations of the bike on idle ?
I bought and installed on my atv and its not activating. Unless I tap directly on the meter it will not turn on while riding.
Any luck with it?
How to reset
love it
So WHEN the battery dies, can you replace it? If it is replaceable, does it save your current hours or reset to zero?
No, it is not replaceable but they last a very long time.
Let's say I bought a used bike with "x" hours on it. Can you set it at what the hours are beforehand?
Have you found an answer to this
Hook it up to a shaver or something that vibrates with a rubber band, plug it in and let it go for however long u want.
So I don't have to turn it on? It just starts counting when it senses the vibrations that are coming from the bike?
Correct
Which one is actually the best one too get wire or wireless
Michael, I know riders who use both and they've been pleased with each. I personally run the wired. I just like the idea of the RPM reading coming from my coil vs. vibrations. That's my opinion.-Chase
@@rmatvmc About to buy a new ATV, which wired would YOU recommend since you are very experienced, TY
Is it possibpe to reset hour meter?
Becase if I bought new bike every year, at start I want always to have 0 hours on meter :)
These hour meters keep track of total hours on the bike and "partial" hours. You can reset the partial number but not the total hour number.
Thanks for watching!
What do you think is more accurate the wired or is vibration one
The wired version would probably have to be the most accurate.
Can I add hours on a new meter. Mine’s finally starting acting up after 5years.
THAT'S a GREAT question
HUM, this was 6 years ago, ANYONE want to share their experience with these?
Hello all! I want to use in a diesel generator. I installed and put the generator working but I´m not getting any value... How does it count? What means 1/10? Thanks!
This hour meter works using vibration. You may need to set the sensitivity to the high setting if you are not getting any readings. The 1/10 refers to the decimal place. Meaning that the meter should read 0.1 for every 6 minutes of run time.
I bought a tusk hour meter and put it on my 2022 gasgas 300ex and compared it to a friends stock hour/odometer display on his 2021 300xcw. An mine is 18% out, so I am clocking more hours then are actually being put on the bike. Is there anything that I can do? I have it set on the 1P1r setting.
If it’s anything like my 23 te300 the stock hour meter only records when the tire is spinning not idle time.
If it runs on vibration will it turn on when I’m hauling the bike???
Most people don't have problems with the meter counting hours while in transport, but it can happen. This hour meter has 2 sensitivity settings as well as a lock out feature designed to stop accumulating hours from transportation.
Hope y’all see this but I just got a brand new bike two days ago and I put this hour meter on and rode it. It had 0.5 hours but I loaded it in my truck and went home and when I got home it had 3.5 hours on it. Is there a way to put it back to 0.5 or back to 0 hours?
Did you ever fix that? I think you need to put in lock mode
They should just have this one from day first
Bought one but it doesn’t say loc when I try to put it into lock mode
I got the sand issue please help get it out of lock and it's jumping thru 1111111 2222222 333333 etc til then loc nothing on trouble shooting this

@@glenklawitter938 SHY NA can't help unfortunately
I wish I had of went with the wired one. I have the vibration activated one and I will say that it's NOT worth the money spent.
Mine broke, waranty??
These have a 2 year warranty. You can email warranty@rockymountainatv.com to get that taken care of.
Wow mine didn’t come with the double sided tape on it smh

@@yuhyuh7652 No just go to home depot and buy some lol
