Drummond did a great job subbing and replacing embiid when hurt the last time he was in philly. This is probably the best sixers team they have put together In the Embiid era

I think the kid (1st round pick) can be the backup PG who will give a spark and 8 points off the bench. Drummond can give 8 points off the bench. I think the 2nd round pick can come off the bench and play some tough D, block shots. We Need to add a couple of role players to the bench. Maybe a guard, small forward and power forward. I like this team.

My issue with Paul Reed is his poor Basketball IQ. He does a lot of knucklehead stuff and is always in foul trouble. Hes a poor man's Chris Boucher. The 76ers need to bring back Dario Saric to play the 4. Or they give Ricky Council a chance or see what they have in Boena. Other names they can potentially trade for to play the 4... Chris Boucher, Tari Eason, Santi Aldama, Grant Williams, Dorian Finney Smith.
The 3 star thing actually works best when you have 1 guy that was a number 1 or 2 option go someplace else and become an over- achieving role player. This might be that thing. Imagine PG reinventing himself in Philly similar to Ray Allen in his Boston and Miami days. It could happen.
The team's issue is a management one. As long as they have incompetent talent evaluators, GM and a philosophy that is the antithesis of building a team nothing will change. It's hype, smoke and mirrors and optimism every offseason with the same result(s). Mr More is the PT Barnum of the league.

It’s not the 3 stars teams that don’t work, it’s the 3 max players teams that don’t work. Three max players means all three must stay healthy because most of your depth is veteran minimums.

No one talks about this but the Sixers trade for Harris in 2019 helped LA get PG & Kawhi that summer and that set us back 5 years.
