But since the exact time is not known so the physical evidence is invalid, or if he has any evidence of Buddhist temples, we would have no objection to Buddhists praying there.

Babri Masjid was called Masjid I Janmasthan. Even Mughal accounts have admitted that it was built over an old temple and Babur purposely built it to show the Hindus or kaffirs as they called them, their place. That structure was demolished based on BELIEF that Ram was born there. It should have been left standing and not demolished based on a simple fact that is a historical structure. Who constructed it and when it was constructed is irrelevant.

Both Wire as well as Mr. Patwardhan should update their knowledge about firm historical scientific evidences regarding firstly the date of birth of Shri Ram and secondly the place of birth of Shri Ram as presented to the Hon Supreme Court of India. The exact date according to the positions of the planets and constellations is mentioned in Shri Valmiki Ramayan itself. Based on this calculations have been made using advanced computers and now the date of birth of Shri Ram is known exactly to be 10th of January 5114 BC. Second the place of birth. Archeological findings have confirmed beyond any point of doubt that a temple existed at the site and the masjid was built on top of it. The evidences available on which Hon Supreme Court of India decided the case were available 50 years back. But the governments of the time influenced the courts and did not let the courts give a decision for 50 years. Possibly both Wire and Mr. Patwardhan are completely oblivious of ancient Indian texts and have absolutely zero knowledge about ancient texts. Taking interviews of some uneducated unknown people does not prove anything. It is no wonder that his documentary was not shown on TV. One thing that has not changed is Anand Patwardhan's incredible arrogance in assuming that the person's humble reply that him commenting on the tithi viz. specific date of Lord Rama's birth would be inappropriate nigh impossible. It presumes that Hindus have no sense of history and that yugas are merely mythical constructs with no cosmological implications or merit. He made no mention of a mosque.[8] In 1634, Thomas Herbert described a "pretty old castle of Ranichand [Ramachand]" which he described as an antique monument that was "especially memorable".[9] However, by 1672, the appearance of a mosque at the site can be inferred because Lal Das's Awadh-Vilasa describes the location of birthplace without mentioning a temple.[10] In 1717, the Moghul Rajput noble Jai Singh II purchased the land surrounding the site and his documents show a mosque.[11]
Kishore Kunal states that all the claimed inscriptions on the Babri mosque were fake. They were affixed sometime around 1813 (almost 285 years after the supposed construction of the mosque in 1528 AD), and repeatedly replaced.[12] In a petition filed by Syed Mohammad Asghar, the Mutawalli (guardian) of the Babri Masjid, with the Commissioner of Faizabad in 1877, it was stated that the word "Allah" above the door was the only inscription. That structure was demolished based on BELIEF that Ram was born there. It should have been left standing and not demolished based on a simple fact that is a historical structure. Who constructed it and when it was constructed is irrelevant.

Both Wire as well as Mr. Patwardhan should update their knowledge about firm historical scientific evidences regarding firstly the date of birth of Shri Ram and secondly the place of birth of Shri Ram as presented to the Hon Supreme Court of India. The exact date according to the positions of the planets and constellations is mentioned in Shri Valmiki Ramayan itself. Based on this calculations have been made using advanced computers and now the date of birth of Shri Ram is known exactly to be 10th of January 5114 BC. Second the place of birth. Archeological findings have confirmed beyond any point of doubt that a temple existed at the site and the masjid was built on top of it. The evidences available on which Hon Supreme Court of India decided the case were available 50 years back. But the governments of the time influenced the courts and did not let the courts give a decision for 50 years.
Possibly both Wire and Mr. Patwardhan are completely oblivious of ancient Indian texts and have absolutely zero knowledge about ancient texts. Taking interviews of some uneducated unknown people does not prove anything. It is no wonder that his documentary was not shown on TV. This kind of interview is completely and grossly misleading for whoever is seeing this video. I am open to a public debate with Mr. PATWARDHAN if he thinks he has any substance in whatever he is saying and claiming.
He is also completely ignorant about the the history of India itself as to how the Hindu community has been oppressed since thousands of years. Mr Patwardhan mentioned in the interview that there's no evidence of any Ram temple prior to the Babri Masjid. Which is also why Subramaniam Swamy's application to the Supreme Court was only based on the majority believing that that was Lord Ram's place of birth. Flimsy but allowed by the Supreme Court.

One thing that has not changed is Anand Patwardhan's incredible arrogance in assuming that the person's humble reply that him commenting on the tithi viz. specific date of Lord Rama's birth would be inappropriate nigh impossible. Also his comment that the reply telling of the yuga is unsatisfactory is incredible bigotry. It presumes that Hindus have no sense of history and that yugas are merely mythical constructs with no cosmological implications or merit. That is incredibly barefaced that a hindu does not acknowledge hindu cosmology as valid way to study time and space, and of time as cyclic rather than limited and linear as commonly understood. His movie is excellent as a reflection on the use of violence and ignorance in politis being weaponised but it fails in doing anything to foster religious equality andgets an F in respect for knowledge of or respect for Hindu religion. Leave a person be with his beliefs, why act as a agent provocateur? It is an exercise of free speech but it does shed some insight on the person's thinking. And for Mr. Patwardhan I think he is not a liberal for this reason. He wishes to force his view on us, and that is illiberal.
