    I really love the way you dove into the topics. My feedback would be to record a video like this. Where you let your brain roam free. And after you can make create a more structured video. You can highlight different eras of dance and music and talk more in depth and then bring in importance of each era more clear.
    When you talked about kuduro and underground fusion in the 90s. I would love to know more about kuduro, who are artists that made the dance better. Who are the artists that made underground better and why does it make sense for both styles to fuse. Hearing about the stories would be amazing

    Amazing video coz it’s so important to know about history of different music and dance genres.. some ideas from me:
    1. To make a lecture about all Afro dance styles and their differences
    2. To add some videos or music examples following your words so we can see and understand better what you’re talking about. Coz it’s not an audio podcast it’s on UA-cam so it will be cool if it’s a visual podcast…🥹
    3. A difference between a dancer and a performer… I liked this topic you mentioned but would like to hear about it more.

    • @Manuelkanza
      @Manuelkanza  8 місяців тому

      Much appreciated , I intend to make this a podcast. I believe it’s on the podcast playlist. However, your suggestion is correct ✅ it’s important to have visuals for the audience that don’t know about the culture and to help them understand.
      We made documentaries about these topics with all the suggested ideas you mentioned above and added more details, it’s already here on afrokanza channel but it’s for members only 😬🙏🏽. The reason it’s not out for public but instead for members only it’s because we only get a decent revenue to support de contents through membership. We are very limited in content support coz we need to go out film and interview plus pay the talents to have these contents out for everyone to learn and enjoy.
      Thank you very much for your watching and suggesting. 🫶🏽✨🎉🎉🎉 happy holidays 🎄

      I didn’t think it would be interesting 🤔

  • @FernandaPereira10
    @FernandaPereira10 Рік тому +2

    Very interesting but a bit repetitive. Make a bullet point script and get in the habit of mentioning connecting points with no more than a short sentence, as in “ as I mentioned earlier”, “in connection with (…)”, “this is also related to (…) as I mentioned before”. That way you don’t have to explain a concept more than once. If anyone doesn’t see the connection, they can skip back. So, in fact, dividing the video in chapters is a better format, although the transcript helps for those who like skimming. Hey, here’s and idea: make a video, edit the transcript, make the bullet point list of chapters as a guide/ script, then make the final video.

    • @Manuelkanza
      @Manuelkanza  Рік тому +1

      Hi Fernanda, I appreciate your comment and your critic on my video. People don’t usually comment on my videos so it’s hard to get any feedback at all. Even though I notice my viewers seem to enjoy the content. So when I get comentes like your I get extremely motivated 🙏🏽. I garante you that the next videos like these will be much better. I just hope more people take time to just tell me something even if it’s just fix this or that.
      So about the content on this video. Yes I don’t write or script what I say because I don’t really know what aspect of the culture people want to know coz I talk about foundation and African dance and music related history. So because of lack of feedback I just feed my UA-cam whatever I think might be important. Lastly, am not that good in English yet 😅 but I try very hard to keep it sharp 🙌🏾 so some words I can’t combine sentence 💯 % and end up going in circles sometimes when I get lost trying to make people understand what I mean.
      Thanks

    Ola sou do Brasil, no vídeo você fala que o Afrohouse é a evolução do Kuduro, pelo que noto de muitos dançarinos(as) eles(as) agregam muitos outros passos de outras danças dentro e fora de Africa. Seria correto afirmar que o Afrohouse é uma mistura de varias vertentes de danças urbanas similar ao Breaking na Cultura Hip-Hop?

    • @Manuelkanza
      @Manuelkanza  7 місяців тому

      Ola , escreveste um ponto muito importante, que alguns dançarinos misturam outros passos no afro house. Na verdade Angola é único país em África que tem uma dança chamada afro house e que foi desenvolvida em Angola através do kuduro. Agora a grande questão aqui , quem são estes dançarinos e de onde vem que estão a fazer a mistura ? Será que são Angolanos ? Estudaram a raiz ? É só para refletir sobre este assunto pertinent. Por isso que faço estes vídeos para falar as verdades. Está haver muita mistura ultimamente e muita gente acaba esquecendo as raizes. Essa dança com mistura de vários passos é chamado de “ afro fusion “ já existe. Afro house (angola ) é uma dança que surge da mistura de passos de kuduro alterados e criado por dançarinos Kuduristas. Vai sair segunda parte deste vídeo em breve e vou falar mais sobre este assunto.
      Muito obrigado amigo pelo comentário 🫶🏽❤️

    • @Manuelkanza

      Yes you can use that method. But if you go teach a class like that , you need to promote your class has AFROFUSION dance

    What are the major differences between kuduro and afro house

    • @Manuelkanza
      @Manuelkanza  6 місяців тому

      Kuduro has more muscle contraction , kuduro dance uses more story telling and afro house uses more footwork (even though it also uses upper body move ) with much less story telling.

    If afro house is the new version of kuduro than what is kuduro afro house?

    • @Manuelkanza
      @Manuelkanza  6 місяців тому

      Kuduro afro house is the way you dance kuduro to afro house music. Like how you dance kuduro , do it on afro house music without alternating or variation. I hope this helped 👍🏽

    Who is the founder of kuduro dance?

    • @Manuelkanza
      @Manuelkanza  3 місяці тому

      Tony Amado and MUCHACHOS ( his dance crew) they created what we know kuduro dance until 2001. After that , other artists such as noite e dia , puto prata , Bruno M , Os lambas , puto lilás continued creating the new era until 2011. From 2011 kuduro changed and became what we all know now - AFRO HOUSE 👍🏽

    Is it true that kuduro was designed to pay tribute towards the disfigured and crippled people

    • @Manuelkanza
      @Manuelkanza  4 місяці тому

      Hi , no kuduro isn't designed for that. I think you head of one kuduro move called tinoguera which is a move from kuduro designed /created to pay tribute to crippled people which is very popular kuduro move amongst crippled and non crippled.

    Existe confusao com os primeiros artistas de Kuduro, porque algumas pessoas falam muito do Tony, mas há outros como o Bruno de Castro, Sebem, Gasolina, etc. e outro topic poderia ser a influencia das mulheres no Kuduro em termos de dança, dá para falar 🤗
