Fun to see these again...grew up w/ these in the 1960s; one used to be able to buy Gumby and Pokey toys...Also fun to see the sets made from all those cool "retro" toys of the era; I can also see where the inspiration for SNL's "Mr. Bill" came from...
This is so indicative of childhood, especially if you're prone to dreaming. Ever have that dream that all kinds of bad things are happening, and all you can think of is what "trouble" you'd be in in the morning...you're comforted to wake up and realize that it was all a dream and that it all never happened, but it happens to Gumby, and he comes through it. That is partially what the early days of the series is about, taking it to that strange and surreal dream level. You never could take your eyes off these shorts because unexpected things happen! "uh-oh, here goes my allowance for five weeks!!"
Absolutely disgusting. These construction workers were straight out harassing Gumby without a reason. All he was trying to do was buy some bread and eggs. Leave a like to save Gumby from these douchey construction workers.
Kinda ties in a little bit with the general (American) public's perception of big, strong blue collar workers like this... Big muscles, laughter/rough/dirty conversations and construction equipment = pay no attention and keep going...
Man, Gumby must live in a pretty terrible part of town, seeing as how he has to cross through active construction sites and endure harassment from its sociopathic workers just to buy some groceries.
If Gumby was able to go straight to the store, buy the eggs and bread, head back home with the food, and mom was happy, what kind of a story would that be? 🤷♂️
This has to be the cutest animation ever made in history. I just saw Gumby in the store the other day. Goes to show that being lovable transcends generations.
This feels so surreal. Like if somebody recorded your dream and played it back to you and you suddenly realized how bizarre the sequence of events were.
i like this show,i remember when i first saw"gumby"as a kid in westchester county,NY.on WPIX-TV,ch.11 in the 60s and it's great that you have it the way i first saw it!
I used to watch these episodes of Gumby when I was a kid with Engineer Bill and when I got home from school having a snack and then I would turn this show on. I still really like Gumby even today
My kid Sister and I used to do exactly that (back in the 80's when we were young), and sit around and laugh and laugh at the absurdity of it all, lol! For some reason, it's the only way I could tolerate watching it. Ah, the fond memories.
@ 1:13 Notice when He opened the Garage Door and You saw a spare tire, Push mower, and something by the trashcan, upon exiting the Garage on the scooter, the stuff was gone.
While I was watching this episode, I flipped my PC tablet upside-down with the rotation setting locked. It was while Gumby was talking to his upside-down reflection.
Does this episode imply there's a whole Gumby multi-verse; did Gumby just witness the destruction of an entire alternate reality?!!!! Oh wait, think I'm over analyzing things again...
I grew up with gumby back in the 60s but, I love these ones where he has the red gumball eyes instead of the flat black ones in later episodes and his original voice. As a kid, I thought his eyes were gumballs...
By the way noted below Kabillion is available on Verizon Fios buyt all the free kids VOD channels are so hard to navigate to. The Comcast system is so much better.
I don't to mean sound skeptical, but are you sure you will air more Gumby episodes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday? So far, we've gotten only two classic episodes of Gumby.
For sure, we're gonna air them all, and thanks for commenting NightShadow720 I always like reading your stuff ... What you think? Maybe we should do more in a week? We could also just get them all up in batches. What're your thoughts? We're always open to suggestions.
This is my favorite show of all shows while i am being trapped in a decaying body in a money hungry society on a dying planet will always remain a mystery so my point is i am watching gumby for the rest of my life.
Thankyou for actually putting Gumby on tv. I dont have this on Fios I don't think, but it's still very cool. As a 10 year old, nobody knows who Gumby is my age. I'm the oldschool kid ya know? Maybe if lost of kids watch it, I can have a Gumby friend :)
I found a Gumby in my dogs poop 4 years ago when I arrived from Antarctica. Not sure why, we don't have gumbies anywhere near my place in the Himalayas. The shepas thought I was weird and the staff at the police station said there's nothing to be worried about. So I ended up at the Whataburger with my exgirl and we actually resolved out differential ideologies and realized we were meant to be. We grabbed a drink at the local steak and shake, watched teletubies and ate watermelon.
There's one thing that this cartoon taught me and that you can get a loaf of bread and some eggs for 50¢ Oh and that will only work in the old days of course
Gumby cartoons are eerie, that's why I love them!

I almost forgot how much of an acid trip this show was.
Never realized how trippy this show was
in the sixties, when i was a little kid, Gumby was broadcasted in B&W here in Italy and it scared me to death :-(
i see.
I watched it as a kid but NOW it scares me !!!
It's pretty unique...
LOL!!
Loved Gumby then, love Gumby now, thanks for uploading these. They bring back memories!
I hope you get the help you need

Absolutely disgusting. These construction workers were straight out harassing Gumby without a reason. All he was trying to do was buy some bread and eggs. Leave a like to save Gumby from these douchey construction workers.
#NotAllGumby's
At least HE had a nice string filled underscore..
Kinda ties in a little bit with the general (American) public's perception of big, strong blue collar workers like this... Big muscles, laughter/rough/dirty conversations and construction equipment = pay no attention and keep going...
I became obsessed with Gumby this month.
Man, Gumby must live in a pretty terrible part of town, seeing as how he has to cross through active construction sites and endure harassment from its sociopathic workers just to buy some groceries.
Mad Hatter he live in toyland.
I was just thinking the same thing roflmao
If Gumby was able to go straight to the store, buy the eggs and bread, head back home with the food, and mom was happy, what kind of a story would that be?
🤷♂️
I love these. I was born in 1965 and some of my earliest memories are of me watching Gumby while I was at my Grannies house.
Man, this guy clokey is a very creative person.
Jayevin YES!!!! He was. 🤗
I love the mother's voice! It's how everyone wants their mother to talk. Mine unfortunately sounded like a dying cat!
The construction workers laugh cracks me up XD
This has to be the cutest animation ever made in history. I just saw Gumby in the store the other day. Goes to show that being lovable transcends generations.

This feels so surreal. Like if somebody recorded your dream and played it back to you and you suddenly realized how bizarre the sequence of events were.
I loved watching this as a kid I have a lot of memories....thanks for uploading it
Same feeling
In that Gumby clip at 8:24-8:28, the bumper was used for Gumby to Beetlejuice.
i like this show,i remember when i first saw"gumby"as a kid in westchester county,NY.on WPIX-TV,ch.11 in the 60s and it's great that you have it the way i first saw it!
Laughter is the best medicine🤩😎🐴🐶🐶😚☺🤔
50 cents for a loaf of bread and a dozen eggs, when did everything become so expensive?
A house in a major city was only 1300. dollars in 1957.
bro just make your own bread for a buck and save that $499
Aurochs hunter the 1970s
+Cameron Hart This was in the 50s and 60s

I used to watch these episodes of Gumby when I was a kid with Engineer Bill and when I got home from school having a snack and then I would turn this show on. I still really like Gumby even today

Close the garage door Gumby, damn it!
That construction worker is an asshole
So I guess they'll let anyone be a construction worker. N golly A Loaf of bread n a dozen eggs for 50¢!? Damn the 50s was something!!!
7:09 I thought he told Gumby to speak backwards.
He couldn't even do it! You saw how he motioned for him to get in the car instead of saying it backwards? Lol
caca
It fix I'll
Right hahahahaha
Either he forgot about that, or he can't do it.
Gumby literally traveled to the moon last episode. *Episode 2: buy groceries.*
Gumby makes 10 cents a week. That's $5.20 a year
who else but zane? Oof
🤣🤣🤣💀
It doesn't matter about Gumby😚☺😀🎵🎶🤩🤔
Gumby eats the brown acid, meets his anti-matter opposite in an alternate universe.
i watch this episode on tv oh old times before 3 years
That construction guy was playing some dangerous games. #😳
"Gumby" was later diagnosed with "Multiple Personality Disorder".
If you smoke a lot of pot, and watch this, It's amazing.
My kid Sister and I used to do exactly that (back in the 80's when we were young), and sit around and laugh and laugh at the absurdity of it all, lol! For some reason, it's the only way I could tolerate watching it. Ah, the fond memories.
This is EXACTLY what MY childhood was like.
Minus the mirrors.
@ 1:13 Notice when He opened the Garage Door and You saw a spare tire, Push mower, and something by the trashcan, upon exiting the Garage on the scooter, the stuff was gone.
I saw that.
Yeah, it's funny when you can clearly notice these things.
I always liked the Toys Gumby Had.
While I was watching this episode, I flipped my PC tablet upside-down with the rotation setting locked. It was while Gumby was talking to his upside-down reflection.
NightShadow720 I had to tilt my head upside-down to see that part in a regular perspective.
i loved it thanks for it
why gumbo got a closet but don't swear cloths
?
+spaceagedpolymer cuz he is a stupid meather ficker
i knew h a
So cool 😎
Does this episode imply there's a whole Gumby multi-verse; did Gumby just witness the destruction of an entire alternate reality?!!!! Oh wait, think I'm over analyzing things again...
I think somebody's been drinking on the job at the construction site...
4:25 so Patric Stewart lives in mirror land as a skinny reflection of Gumby?
I remeber the toys. The metal caat hanger piece would eventually poke out the limbs.
You do have to admire the sets here.
I grew up with gumby back in the 60s but, I love these ones where he has the red gumball eyes instead of the flat black ones in later episodes and his original voice. As a kid, I thought his eyes were gumballs...
My stomach's hurts🐴🦄🐶😚☺😀
My dear corgi had a Gumby toy. I miss her so.
By the way noted below Kabillion is available on Verizon Fios buyt all the free kids VOD channels are so hard to navigate to. The Comcast system is so much better.
3:23 is the best part
We had this on vhs but it was edited without all the other mirror worlds and just the backwards dude. Freaked me out as a kid
There were two different versions of the earliest episodes.
Jeez no onder I was smoking weed and doing acid in the 80s and 90s brought up on these crazy kids shows in the 70's
7:17 Did Gumby lose his head?
Gumby puts his clothes away but he never wears any
I always felt like I was on a psychedelic trip whenever I watched Gumby as a kid.
I prefer Season 1 Gumby episodes than Season 2 etc. :x
Why do i feel like this is more surreal than what i thought?
I am jewish and this by far is thee best Gumby made.
4:45 That used to freak me out as a kid
These used to freak me out when I was like 4, and I must say they still do claymation just freaks me out idk
Was that a grain mill near the beginning. Looks like they were brewing their own beer!
I live in the upside down parallel mirror universe
Why is Gumby upside down?
gumby here!
I don't to mean sound skeptical, but are you sure you will air more Gumby episodes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday? So far, we've gotten only two classic episodes of Gumby.

***** As a fan of Gumby, it would mean so much if you upload more than one Gumby video every week.
This happens every day in my house
50 cents was his 5 wk allowance lol
I like how this is trying to be the next Morph
So morph was trying to be the next gumby
Wow you've really got that down to a science
Your welcome
This is my favorite show of all shows while i am being trapped in a decaying body in a money hungry society on a dying planet will always remain a mystery so my point is i am watching gumby for the rest of my life.
What is the name of the music that plays during the title card and the music that plays at the end?
Gumby theme, Bill Loose and John Seely (whose very vast libray of compositions by many composers was everywhere during the 1950s-60s.)
What’s the music from 1:12-2:22
Everyone here probably watched this in the 19's But me I'm the only one who watched it in the 20's
There was a Rugrats episode where they went to Mirror-land
sw34
Thankyou for actually putting Gumby on tv. I dont have this on Fios I don't think, but it's still very cool. As a 10 year old, nobody knows who Gumby is my age. I'm the oldschool kid ya know? Maybe if lost of kids watch it, I can have a Gumby friend :)
Cow Cat AJ I'm 11 but I new Gumby when I was 10 I'm using my dad's account
The construction worker goes from a prankster to a murderer
Why can't I find the drug scene before the credits, is it censored?
2:06 me vs life
I found a Gumby in my dogs poop 4 years ago when I arrived from Antarctica. Not sure why, we don't have gumbies anywhere near my place in the Himalayas. The shepas thought I was weird and the staff at the police station said there's nothing to be worried about. There's one thing that this cartoon taught me and that you can get a loaf of bread and some eggs for 50¢
Oh and that will only work in the old days of course
NoteDisc Real Yes. We did and we thought it was too much. It's all relative ☺
Hey, Kabillion, why doesn't Premavision make any NEW Gumby episodes anymore?
I swear Gumby is always getting dumped on
This is ,y childhood
I meant my
I hope Gunby gets a reboot.
No! Poor gumby he had to go through a lot to get eggs and bread poor boy lol
4:41 this part is funny
I feel like I'm on drugs.
Xmas everyday
The real lesson here is all construction workers are assholes.
This episode is strange!
All of gumby is basically one huge LSD trip
This is nothing compared to some other ones. I found this one to be kind of a classic.
50¢ could buy a loaf of bread and a dozen eggs back in 1959/1960 ?
Yes. Back then, $200 would make you very rich. Not to mention the fact that money back then was hard to produce.
