I disassembled my bottle trap and the gasket fell out. I could not find a diagram with detailed assembly. The first few seconds on the vid helped me muchly. Thank you.
Exactly, they all fail to show the only questionable part, I think it's because they don't even know lol. I guess just put some teflon tape on the screw part of the connector that goes intot he wall then screw it on?
My guess is that it works like a kee seal does on a WC cistern to pan connection. Very unsettling to have to rely on a fitting as such. In a concealed area, should it leak, it would be directly into the cavity.

Thank you. I realised the O ring Gasket has been missing which is why the leaks . pesky leaks
This was lame...show me how you are going to attach this to the rough/PVC coming out of the wall. Otherwise, what was the point?

buy a Rubber bush the same size as the PVC pipe and put it inside the PVC pipe then push the bottle trap inside.
The fitting on the end of the pipe clearly just pushes in.
Clearly... what is the specific name for said fitting and where do you buy one? What prevents sewer gas from leaking around it and into your bathroom?

Can I buy the silocone seal seperately?
Thanks
Easy !took it back to store and get something else, unless you want to clean it and unplug every 4-6 months ,bottle traps sucks
Low quality video doesn't even show what to do with the o rings
Super information bro
