Everyone hated on thiago macedo in the comment section on that match on youtube but they all failed to realize the solid back escapes and the tactical approach and knowledge of the rules thiago put on display kn one of the biggest tournament in the most stacked division. Excellent video. Nice to see the opponents trying to adapt throuought the matchs and Thiago having the answer for all of those changes. If Jiu Jitsu was thought more as a sport than of a art, I think we would see a lot of defensive styles like that and less "spazzy" attackers
