- 1955 Pontiac Station Wagon - Partially restored by previous owner. Still has its original drivetrain, 287 cid V8, 2 speed automatic transmission. Fuel system is being replaced, then it will be offered for sale. Owner is asking $8500. Included in the sale will be most of the interior and exterior trim along with many extra parts as seen in this video. It's a nice car! Not rotted. I have a 57 wagon solid and and partly done! Just need time to do it. That pontiac will be someone's pride and joy! Keep the 287!
Thanks for you comment Dave. The 55 was sold earlier this summer to someone who will finish this wagon. They are keeping it original from what we were told. Good luck with your 57, they are very rare to see these days!

Absolutley love these 50s wagons... I've got a 53 Pontiac Chieftain that I really need to make a priority... Just straight sexy!!
Wish I knew more about this generation of vehicle. I'm kinda lost looking at these parts and wondering what half this stuff is. We also learned right after this video was made it was NOT a Safari station wagon but a base Chieftain station wagon. The Pontiac experts were quick to point this out lol. Just hope it finds a good home!
@@g3garage I thought it was Chieftain, but it's hard to tell without the trim on it. I'm more of a 54 and older Pontiac guy when it comes to these... Then I picked back up around 64ish. I'm sure it will find a good home... It definitely deserves it!!
