There is another variation of it, which is through the nose (I learned the nose version first); and I don't know how but it sounds similar and more piercing. It can be done by rolling your tongue up in a certain position too. Never knew there would be too many variations of the same whistle. Btw, good work! You are the first tutorial of this specific whistle!! Loved the video 🔥
@@krossbbx3088 thank you Bro..💖🔥 Thanks a Lot Cause your simple Toturial Got Right.. I Can do Zekkas whistle 🔥💖 I just Subscribe you cause you helped me😊
Hey, thanks for this vid. There's not many tutorials and you mentioned some info that others haven't. More context and info is always nice. I have a question. If you're able to do poh snare, can you describe how this whistle is different/similar to poh snare. I do my poh snare in rimshot/k-snare tongue position (and my lips in an o), so when I try to do this whistle I frequently do a bit of a poh snare. Is there a certain lip position or cheek position that you think is better or worse for making this sound
Haha well no I cannot do the poh snare and I don’t really think this whistle is that similar to a poh snare as while your lip position can change the pitch of the whistle to some degree, the whistle sound itself is produced between your tongue and the top of your mouth. I have found it comes out a bit more consistently if I underbite my jaw a little but yea
Bro! Thank you for uploading a tutorial for this specific whistle. I found the sweet spot for it however, is there a way to change the pitch? My whistle pitch is much higher than yours.
Getting a lower pitch requires you to drop your jaw more and also lower your tongue a bit, it’s easier said than done as this whistle requires a lot of precision to produce a strong result but yea
As far as I can tell, this whistle is quite literally a more opened up version of the ralik whistle, the biggest difference being that for this whistle you have to drop your jaw more and move your tongue farther back in your mouth
Hey sorry I never responded to this, and no haha this sound is focused through the mouth, I just tried to see if i can do it through my nostrils and I definitely cannot 😂
@@LULULOTUS i actually saw another comment on this video talking about that, and honestly I’m really interested that sounds like a very exotic type of whistle haha
@@brokenrl yea a lot of people come to that conclusion, which is understandable since it sounds similar and it’s hard to see any mouth movement that would indicate otherwise, but I can assure you that it’s more of a tongue whistle. It’s also much more powerful than most throat whistles

Thanks for the great tutorial, kross! Quick question, what exactly is the difference between ralik whistle and this “hollow zekka pallet whistle”
As far as I can tell, this whistle is quite literally a more opened up version of the ralik whistle, the biggest difference being that for this whistle you have to drop your jaw more and move your tongue farther back in your mouth
When i see *hollow* i know i'm doomed 💀☠️
Haha it is definitely one of the harder sounds I’ve learned
@@krossbbx3088 man i found a way to do it inward but it doesn't come out outward ;_;
great tutorial bro!!
Very good. Will you whistle some songs?
wow!
Can you whistle with your mouth closed? Could u make the sound come out of nostrils?

@@krossbbx3088 ah I was excited I haven’t met another nose whistler yet lollll
@@LULULOTUS i actually saw another comment on this video talking about that, and honestly I’m really interested that sounds like a very exotic type of whistle haha
And how are people like prichia doing it with their mouth closed. For example scratchy does that as well
Because they’re using throat whistles, this whistle is not a throat whistle
@@krossbbx3088 man I wanna learn the throat whistle so bad but I can’t find any tutorial and the ones who can do it don’t answer me on Instagram :(
I thought this one was the throat whistle bc It sounded so similar
